We had an amazing stay at this cabin. My family and I absolutely loved it. The place was spotless, very spacious, and beautifully maintained. The pool was spectacular and truly one of the highlights of our stay. Every area of the house was comfortable and well designed, making us feel right at home. Rob was a great host—very attentive and responsive. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.
We had the best time here for a long weekend celebrating our grandmothers 70th birthday! Hosts were very communicative & quick with responses! We would love to come back and stay again. We got about 6 inches of snow - perfect for building snowmen and having snowball fights! Host had arranged for a plow to come and clear the driveways making leaving a breeze!
The house was absolutely perfect!!!The property was gorgeous!!!We are a family of 16 and came to celebrate Easter. Everything was perfect!!! We will definitely come back!!!Thank you for an amazing experience!!!
The property was great. Plenty of bedrooms, and room to play games both indoors and outdoors. Kitchen was on the smaller side, but we made it work. Loved the large table to be able to seat everyone for meals. The pool is a bonus! Everyone Loved the trip and had a great time. Thank you.
We were very pleased with our stay. Even in the winter months there was plenty to do. The property owner was very responsive and accommodating. Will consider this property for a future stay.
Great place with lots to do on site as well as nearby. The pool being in a separate building was great..and so nicd to have fridge and bathroom in the building. Really nice accommodations. Tammy, Rob and their staff were great.
Spacious property. Plenty of space for all of the people who went. Never felt cramped once. Kids enjoyed the pool. I thought it was attached to the house, but it wasn't far. We're thinking about this place again next year.
I can't recommend High Point Lodge enough! We have stayed in Hocking Hills many times with our friends and this was by far our favorite! The indoor pool is incredible and the cabin is outstanding. If you are looking for a place to entertain family reunions, friends getaways, or just enjoy a pool, this is the place!
Property was amazing, had so much space and was perfect for our group of 20. Check in and out instructions were detailed and helpful and listing photos were spot on! Our only negative is they play structure is well past its prime and in our opinion a safety concern. Definitely time for an upgrade there! All in all this house allowed 5 families to stay comfortably for 3 nights and any amenity we needed had been provided including several small kitchen appliances. We would stay again!
Excellent communication, more amenities than expected and beautiful location! Definitely a steep driveway going up as they tell you to be prepared. Pool was incredible and the beds were extra comfy! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
We stayed for a family get together with 22 people. Plenty of space throughout the house and property. Loved the large dinning room fit everyone for dinner. The indoor pool was amazing and everyone enjoyed a lot of time in the water!
We had a fantastic stay at the High Point Lodge. The outdoor amenities were fantastic and allowed us to connect to the Hocking Hills. The property truly lived as an indoor/outdoor space. We had so much fun at the lodge that we only left a few times to go hiking.
We stayed here with a few families and had a wonderful experience. Plenty of room to stretch out and feel like we had some personal space. There’s an upstairs loft with 6 twin beds which was such a hit with our older kids. The pool was perfect and kept the kids entertained all day. We had a minor maintenance issue that was handled within hours of calling. Would definitely stay here again.
We had all we needed and was expecting for our stay before Christmas. Family members have good social areas to gather and seperate areas for different ages to play or watch the games. Pool house was great and provided a safedistance from house t.controll who and when accessed it.
We had a great weekend celebrating a family birthday for our 99 year old grandmother. We had ages 99 down to a 1 year old and this location worked well for a wide span of ages. There was so much to do on property to keep everyone occupied. The large dining table was nice for all the large family meals. Thanks for allowing us to celebrate in your home.
We went in a group of 15 people with kids. It has been the most pleasurable experience for us. The property is just fabulous with plenty of amenities which are extremely guest friendly. The basement indoor pool was an extra plus. The host Tammy was communicative and helpful. We definitely plan to come back here again to enjoy the outdoors and the fall Colors. It is a beautiful property. I would give it 7 stars.
We had eight adults and ten kids... with three extra beds available! We stayed here during the winter so the pool was the biggest draw for us. The pool is in a separate building, just down the hill a little from the main house. It has TV's and tables so if parents don't want to get in the pool, they are also occupied. Inside the main house are several different rooms to gather; the main family room and the game room are on the main floor. The basement has two separate bar areas, several TV's and a pool table. We were able to hang all together and also have space to be apart. The kitchen was well equipped and was nice to have the downstairs kitchen for feeding such a large group. We'd like to come back when it's nice outside to enjoy the play area, fire pits and several outdoor seating areas!

Nice pool. The house leaves a lot of room for improvement for this price range.
The pool was great, but we had to walk down a steep loose stone path to get there. The upstairs room with the bunks had only a curtain between it and the main room for adults to talk. The kitchen was small- there wasnt much counterspace. The basement was much colder than the first floor. Except for the kitchen area, the rooms were not well lit. We did have great communication from Tammy who responded quickly to our texts and calls.
Our family very much enjoyed the pool, hot tub, campfire area, 5 bathrooms, 8 bedrooms, three refrigerators, space to move around, areas both in and out allowing us to dine together, lots of outdoor seating, corn hole, etc at High Point Lodge. A storm knocked out power one day so having a generator was a huge plus. Tammy, from Hocking Hills Premier Properties, was an absolute gem to work with.
That said, there were maintenance issues that necessitated not just fairly regular contact with management but also having service people in the lodge multiple times during our vacation time (some of which we refused but they came anyway). Given the very high cost of this lodge, and its rating as being one of the top 17 most luxurious rentals in the country, we were very frustrated and flummoxed to have time and privacy taken from our long awaited family reunion to attend to any property issues at all.
I wasn’t going to rate this property but I decided to give my input so that some improvements could be made.
Seeing that we caught 2 mice in traps that we bought was very unsettling. If we hadn’t seen the mice I can’t even think how much of the food that we brought would have gotten contaminated.
Picking up the wine glasses that had mouse poop on them also unsettling. We called and more wine glasses were set upside down on the top hutch in the same poop as the other glasses. Some finishes needed attended to, the pool sliding doors do not slide, the kitchen table was very damaged with potential splinters, large wasp nest outside deck door, small bathroom near kitchen smelled like urine, outside deck tables were filthy. Tables and chairs were very sticky.
Loved the pool however I would not classify this property as a premium cabin because it was showing its age or abuse.
This was one if the most well stocked rentals we have ever stayed in! Exceeded our expectations! Kids had a blast. Pool was very clean. Would definitely stay again!
