The room has a commanding view of northern Lake Washington and the Cascades. It has everything you might need for a long stay. Whether you wish to enjoy the delights of the Seattle area or spend a quiet evening at home while working during the days, this space offers what you need in addition to a fabulous view.

Your hosts are a retired contractor who has built his dream house and a retired flight attendant. Both are well traveled and know what most people want in comfortable accommodations.

Entrance is either through the garage door, through a secure elevator to the third floor or walking up the side of the house, up the stairs and to the back door. The landscape is a work in progress but entrance through the garage is dry and secure.

Can’t say enough about this property, the hosts and the view from the deck! Exceptionally well maintained private apartment and hosts who go out of their way to make the experience homey and comfortable. Fresh eggs and vegetables out of the garden just outside the apartment were a great surprise too! All the amenities, including driveway parking exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

Another great visit

We come to Seattle to visit our grandchildren (and son and daughter-in-law). We try to stay at Pied-à-terre by the Lake whenever it's available. Bruce and Paula are the greatest and we really enjoy the room, especially the view of Lake Washington.

Fabulous Treasure in the Park

Paula and Bruce are fabulous hosts. Their little hideaway is a diamond. Very clean, pretty, amazing view,very private. Had fresh flowers, fresh eggs and all the spices needed for stay in dining. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Bruce and Paula for such a nice respite in time.

Wonderful Property

Lovely space for a short term or long term stay. All of the necessary amenities were included for a very comfortable stay. There was a beautiful view of Lake Washington from the property. The hosts were some of the kindest and sweetest people that I have ever met and I now consider them to be very good friends. I hope that I will be able to enjoy another stay with them in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at thePied-à-terre by the Lake. It is a spacious studio with a nice view of the lake. The hosts were great and very helpful. The Kitchen and the bathrooms were clean and fully equipped. I highly recommend it.
