We loved the location. The cabin was great, perfect for our journey.
The multi level decks were a little rough in he dark and no washer and dryer as the amenities described. I would not let either of these stop me from staying again.

thank you for the feedback! this cabin is undergoing a full remodel, and we'll remember these suggestions while we're working on it.
This cabin had a lot of charm! We loved the rushing stream that was just down the hill. There were other cabins around, but was still very private. We did not use the kitchen, but the shower and beds were comfortable. The road getting to the property from Gardiner (about 5 miles) was a little bumpy, though.

Thank you for the feedback! The road can definitely be a little rough at times with the washboards from so many trucks pulling trailers up and down the road. It's hit or miss whether Park County does a great job maintaining the road, or just ok-ish. But, it's worth the ten minutes of gravel road for the views and peaceful mountain sounds!

Fabulous cabin at north Yellowstone entrance
Gorgeous new cabin, beautiful remote setting for a Yellowstone visit. We were given the wrong code for the lockbox and waited an hour in the rain to get in, had trouble reaching the host. Once in, loved the place. Two issues: amber lighting throughout made it difficult to see; couldn’t read in the living room. Needs a floor lamp or two. Bathrooms were beautiful but cold.

We're sorry you had some issues with check in. The cabin is being fully remodeled, and we'll definitely address those issues you mentioned while we're working on it.
We loved the view from the property - Mammoth Springs and Electric Peak. It was especially fun having hiking trails and fishing right out our back door. We have a great stay.

we love it here, too! Thanks for choosing Bear Creek Cabins.
Loved the beautiful scenery and how quiet it was. We could hear the stream that is across the road from the cabin. We had a small issue that was very satisfactorily handled once we were able to let them know. There is no telephone in the cabin and we didn't even have cell service unless we went into Gardiner. We loved being disconnected. We are looking forward to returning again.
Lovely, small cabin suitable for 4 guests. Each of the 3 rooms (2 bedrooms and kitchen) had independent heating. Bathroom is in one bedroom; hot shower water smelled slightly sulfurous but it's Yellowstone. Cooking utensils adequate for nearly everything you'd want to make; BBQ actually worked! Set of 4 plates, bowls, etc. but enough wine glasses for a party...love that! Could have used salt/pepper/oil as basics so 1st night went without. Cleaning supplies were fine. Internet sketchy...actually didn't get it during our stay but neither did many of the locals so we didn't feel special. If you're interested in power viewing sights and wildlife in Yellowstone, leaving early and returning late, this place is located a bit off the path but you can avoid nearly everyone and retire to a quiet spot after a long day of sitting in bison jams.

Thank you for the feedback! We've since removed this cabin from the property, but we've addressed most of the concerns mentioned in your review when building the three new cabins and remodeling the fourth.
Great views, comfortable beds, good selection of cookware and dishes, wifi was good and bad at times - but i wasn't there for the internet. we had a few minor issues, but the property manager dealt with them in a quick manor (within 10 minutes, staff drove up to assist and fully resolve). i would definitely stay again

Could have been better
The property was a little dirty, with dust bunnies on the floor. The hot water smelled very strongly of sulfur all 4 days of our stay. We had a roof leak over our son’s bed on the third night. The property listed a washer and dryer as amenities but the cabin does not have either. It was difficult to talk to the manager as the cabin did not have cell service or internet - the password we were given did not work. However, the cabin was peaceful and the river was very nice.

I am sorry your stay wasn't pleasant. I doubled checked and it does not say it has a water/dryer.
I always make sure when I send code/directions that WIFI hit hit and miss up in the mountains. Also I noticed Verizon is the only one cell carrier that works. We have fixed the leak, which was due to so much rain/rain this yeas. Again please accept my apoligies. Have a great rest of 2019
Good cabin for a family of four, saw lots of wildlife traveling to and from the cabin each day, and horse rides very close by for a family outing. For two couples, they are building some very nice larger cabins across the road, contact Aimee Johnson for information about these cabins.
