Our beach home is a private, updated property siding onto Rathtrevor Provincial Park with a great unobstructed view of the beach. We are just steps to the beach and Rathtrevor. The condo is on the 2nd floor of a beach level 4-plex ... step out our front door and you are less than 100 feet to the beach and the park.

The unit is over 1,100 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. It is equipped with in-suite washer and dryer and sleeps 4 people. There are 2 decks and a barbeque. The unit has been substantially updated in 2006. This includes new appliances and new hardwood floors, carpeting, and tiles throughout. The bathrooms are modern and updated. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a television and there is a high quality television with DVD player and stereo in the living room.

The main floor has a large picture window with a wonderful view of the beach. Great for when you just want to sit back and enjoy the view from the comfort of your living room. The main floor and top floor both have sunny outside balconies. Both balconies have great views of the beach and Rathtrevor. The kitchen, living, and dining rooms are open concept with a spectacular 14� cathedral ceiling.

We purchased our vacation home because we love the area and you will too! The beach is spectacularly tranquil and beautiful. The tide goes out almost the full depth of the bay and provides a great playground for kids, young and old, and a great place for anyone to roam around and enjoy the local scenery. After dinner, don�t forget to head back to the beach and enjoy some toasted marshmallows at the beachfront fire pits.

When you need another diversion, for little kids and big kids alike, there are 2 great themed mini-golf courses just up the road and a water park in Parksville. For the really big kids, the Parksville area is known for its impressive golf courses. The area also has hiking and mountain bike trails. And don�t miss the well renowned Market at Coombs.

You will definitely experience relaxed luxury during your stay in our vacation home.

We had a great 1 week stay at this clean and comfortable condo. It is exactly as pictured and the location is fantastic for access to beach and trails with a short drive to the community of Parksville. For us it was the perfect place to feel at home and enjoy our November retreat.

Wonderful Location and Perfect Condo

This property is truly a gem!!! Our one month stay was very enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised with how spacious and quiet the unit is. The home is so well equipped with everything you need, especially the kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the two bathrooms are very nice. Lots of comfortable seating.The best part is the location. Beautiful views of the water and the park area from the main living area and the two balconies. So enjoyed watching the changing tides. We saw lots of wildlife on our twice daily walks in Rathtrevor Provincial Park, which is right outside the property.Our host Peter was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. We will be back.

Beachfront property with all amenities

We have been coming back to this location for 5 years. Peter is so accommodating and such a friendly person. The home is right on the beach and our 3 children can go out to play and we can still see them. It is also right next to the national park which is beautiful. When you look out one window you see beach as far as you can see and when you look out the other window you see a national park. Gorgeous!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Haha, just don't take our spot. :)

Great apartment in spectacular setting

First off, I just want to highlight Peter as a spectacular host. Communication was excellent and Peter was very generous in helping solve an issue during our stay (not related to him or the apartment). The place is well-stocked with kitchenware and comfortable furniture and everything works well. The views from the front windows and both decks are spectacular, and the upper deck has sun for most of the day. The Tanglewood complex is quiet and restful. Next door Rathtrevor Beach Park wasn't busy during our visit (late March) but it looks likely to host a lot of visitors in summer. However, the beach is big (especially at low tide) and there are many restaurants and other amenities in nearby Parksville to keep everyone occupied. Locally, we really liked the nearby Black Goose Pub. There are also several other provincial parks nearby that we enjoyed visiting — Cathedral Grove (avoid in high season), Spider Lake, and Englishman River Falls.

This was by far the best rental we have had in the Parksville /Nanoose Bay Area. Wonderful host, quick to respond. We had been informed that here were a few (very minor) things that needed repair so the err were no surprises. The location was SUPERB. The unit well appointed, clean well furnished with a fully equipped and good size kitchen. This rental is so worth the price, do not hesitate to book it!!Thank you Peter.

Another wonderful stay - best location ever!

Being right next to Rathtrevor Beach and trails makes this the ideal location for us. The weather was amazing and there were still loads of campers and people enjoying what the park has to offer, so it was wonderful to be able to step out of the condo door to walk the trails early in the morning. This clean condo is very well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The condo binder held a wealth of information about the functioning of TV and BBQ, as well as info about the area. Thanks again to Peter and his team for a most relaxing stay.

Winter getaway

The condo space was roomy and comfortable for our family of four (two kids 11 & 12). Great views over the ocean, lots of linens, kitchen was well equipped for everything you need. Living room was a great place for all of us to chill when there was a downpour outside. Great spot right on Rathtrevor beach, and great easy trails right next door in the provincial park.

Comfortable Gettaway

This condo is spacious with an incredible ocean view, large kitchen, and cozy living room. The pictures on the website do not reflect how nicely laid out the unit really is. The host was amazing and we appreciate all of our communications with him, as well as a special kudos to the housekeeper for the cleanliness.

Wonderful Christmas at the beach!

Our adult family of four stayed at this beautiful property over the Christmas holidays, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's a great location, backing onto the beach, and the condo was quiet and close to amenities in Parksville. The suite was roomy yet cozy, with a lovely fireplace, clean, well-stocked kitchen, laundry room, jacuzzi tub and shower, and lots of extra linens. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was attentive and easy to contact. We hope to stay here again soon!

Our family fell in love with Rathtrevor Beach over 15 years ago. We have enjoyed spending great family time at Rathtrevor many summers since. In 2007 we found this lovely vacation home. It is in a very unique location within the complex being directly adjacent to the park and with a great view and access to the beach. It provides the perfect balance of privacy and beach access. And it is very well appointed and up-to-date.

The unit is fully equipped with a well stocked kitchen, TV, DVD, fireplace, wireless internet, and many beach ameneties. There are 2 decks, one off the main floor and one off the top floor. The top floor deck offers great views and the perfect place to enjoy your meals in privacy in the middle of nature. Our vacation home is very peaceful and relaxing.
