We met our host, Phil upon our arrival and he was such a nice gentleman! This was a perfect location for a Texas A&M football weekend. The home was clean and spacious!
Wonderful weekend in Aggieland off the beaten path
We had a wonderful stay! The place was perfect for a weekend stay for parents weekend. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed the peaceful outdoor space and being away (but not too far away) from BCS. We will definitely be back!
Enjoyed the countryside during our stay for college graduation. Plenty of room for family and friends to stay with us and join us for a celebratory dinner. Definitely a farmhouse experience.
We found this charming home for our son's graduation from Texas A&M. We needed a place for famly to stay and to have a small gathering to celebrate our Aggie. It did not disappoint. Watching the cattle in the morning while having coffee was a relaxing start to the day and a perfect space for a party.
Phillip was a great host and was very attentive with our questions. Enjoyed the air conditioned patio with cows mooing in the field!:) Unfortunately it rained most of the time so couldn't enjoy the outdoors but was very spacious inside to accommodate our family for graduation.
Beautiful place with vintage flare! Large and roomy. Perfect for my kids and husband. Spending the rest of football season right here in the country! Philip is a wonderful and charming host Gig'em
It was supposed to be 7 of us-work interfered for 2 and then a family of 4 was stuck with COVID 3 days before check in. The property was nice, clean, and comfortable with some fun amenities. Good TV and internet service. Very happy to have stayed.
The place was good overall except that the whole house and even the outside smelled like pesticide and there still some bugs crawling around in the house. Except for that, everything else was fine.
The ranch style home was perfect for our party to celebrate our daughters ring weekend/dunk. The open concept, two refrigerators, plenty of available serving dishes, just an overall great experience. Beautiful outdoor setting — legit farm atmosphere. Honestly cannot write enough compliments.
The one item that was listed in the write up — was that kolaches were provided. We failed to bring much for breakfast for that reason — but a quick call to the owner and a short five minute ride to the store managed the situation
We loved this rental and will be back for graduation

Disliked: Cleanliness
Needs a plumber - and some bug spray
The house was nice although it could have been cleaner. Lots of cob webs, dead (and live) bugs, hair in tubs, etc). But the main issues were plumbing related
- water was brown. Not just a little. Literal chunks/debris would come out.
- master tub and sink drained incredibly slow
- shower handle so loose it just came off
- and other plumbing fixtures were old, loose, worn out
The yard was all torn up - I assume/hope maybe working on the water issues.
If the water had been clear and the house would have been clean without bugs it would have been really nice.
This was a wonderful experience. I took my family for Thanksgiving get together. The home was wonderful!! My dad loved it and we are thinking of making this a new tradition every A&M home game against LSU. The home owners were wonderful as well!! Definitely recommend staying at this beautiful and quiet getaway that is a short drive from Kyle Field!!
We had a wonderful weekend visiting with fish buddies from the class of 81 and enjoying the football game will definitely plan another visit here for more Good times and fun.
Overall- we had a wonderful stay!!
This place is farther from town than I thought- we had difficulty getting Ubers to pick us up. However, it was close enough that driving into town was easy, and you can't beat the price! The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The common areas are very roomy, so we never felt cramped. The property is SO peaceful. A beautiful place to stay. Communication with hosts was easy as well. Thanks for having us!!
Wonderful country get away with plenty of room to spread out and entertain. Hosts answered all questions quickly and were very accomodating to special requests. Would definitely stay at this property again.
