Spacious Rustic Whistler Retreat at the Woods

Everything you want in a Whistler Vacation for all Seasons! Two spacious bedrooms and two full beautifully renovated bathrooms with a full stainless steel kitchen, ensuite washer/dryer, dish washer, cable TV, wifi, barbeque, wood burning fireplace, and communal hot tub. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a top-quality Italian sofa-bed that sleeps two, and two baby cribs are also available. One bathroom has a full double shower, and the other bathroom has a bathtub and shower. Relax with a book and coffee on your serene private tree views from the peaceful window seat. Play Station and board games available for rainy days. Ample storage for skis in the unit in the front hallway. The townhouse is on the ground level with no stairs to climb with tired ski or biking legs after a long day! One FREE reserved parking space, with additional visitor parking available on a first come first serve basis for another vehicle.

The location in the Benchlands in the Upper Village is perfect for easily getting to all the excitement of Whistler Village, while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to. Perfect for families. There is a free Whistler village shuttle stop right outside the complex, which runs every 15 minutes. The shuttle will get you to the village in only 2-3 minutes or walk to the Upper Village in only 7 minutes. Easily walk to golfing, bike ride on the "Valley Trail", or walk only 9 minutes to Lost Lake for swimming in the summer. In the Winter, this townhouse is only 700 metres to the base of Blackcomb and ski lifts. You can ski home on the "Ski Home trail" which will exit across the street from the complex. Also, cross country ski on all of the trails around Lost Lake, or Ice skate on Lost Lake and get a hot chocolate at the Lost Lake cabin in the Winter.

Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this condo. It was the perfect size and layout for my husband, me, and our two sons. The beds and bedding are SO comfortable that we were remarking that we wanted to duplicate them at home. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The check-in and check-out process were easy and Steve was responsive to any questions that came up during our stay.

Excellent, Steve was always easy to reach for any situation presented, the place is cozy, well equipped with everything, and the floor was heated which was a plus, as we got hit with very low temperatures.

We spent seven days and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Condo has a great location, bus stop at the end of the driveway. Short walk to the center of Whistler Village and to many trails. We had a fabulous day. Condo was clean comfortable and we found it very relaxing. STEVE replied quickly on booking and any communications we had too.

Great Spot While in Whistler

Seamless check-in to a great place. A well-appointed property that was easy to get around to and from. The property is at the doorstep of a shuttle stop that will have you at either village in minutes. The heated floors were great after a day on the slopes. Will definitely look to return in the future.

Thanks Eugene. We purchased the place at the end of September, 2018, and have been making a number of upgrades. We ordered a new Italian sofa bed and love seat 8 weeks ago (with a 5-6 week delivery period..) and I have been told that they will be shipping this week. This particular sofa bed rolls over from the top as oppose to pulling out from underneath as an American style sofa bed does. The engineering of these types of sofa beds does not permit sagging and has the feel of a normal bed. We're sorry that the new sofa bed and love seat were not available for you, but it will be for your next stay. Thanks! Steve

Whistler New Year

The condo is exactly as described, an authentic Canadian ski condo in the woods, well appointed and very cozy! Its location is ideal, quiet and away from the crowds but the free shuttle made exploring the village and getting to the slopes a breeze. We travelled with teenagers and it was easy and safe for them to explore Whistler-Blackcomb on their own. Check in was very easy and the condo very clean with updated bathrooms and kitchen.Looking forward to our next trip!

We are a family of four, with two boys under the age of ten who love all that Whistler has to offer year-round such as skiing, mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, and hiking.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because it is uniquely situated and provides and ease of access to Whistler Village in one direction, Lost Lake in the other, and the hundreds of biking and hiking trails that start right outside the complex. With all these benefits, it retains a feeling of being remotely situated in the woods, and hence the complex name of "The Woods".

What makes this property unique

We not only wanted to provide a place for our guests to lay their heads while they pursue the many year-round activities in Whistler, we wanted to give our guests a uniquely Canadian experience that both our Canadian guests, and our guests that are visitors to Canada have come to love. It's a modern place with a rustic feel, the type feel that I experienced at various cabins/camps growing up as a child and we are happy to share this experience with you!
