About this property

This home was our first Vacation Home. This 4 bedroom home is located in the McDowell Mountain Ranch area of Scottsdale. The neighborhood has two recreational centers each with all year round heated pools, Tennis courts, basketball courts, volley ball, Pickle ball courts and children playgrounds. Numerous trails both paved and unpaved surround the area with miles and miles of Hiking, biking and equestrian trails are also at Gateway, the entrance to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve which is only a few blocks away.
The adjacent Phil Mickelson Golf Club is part of our neighborhood. Within less than 1 mile we have the Aquatic center, Arabian Library and West world which is home the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction, Arabian horse show, and many other annual events which take place in our lovely city. A few miles away is the annual TPC Waste Management Open, Butterfly world, Odysea Aquarium, Spring training and Talking Stick Resort and Casino which also holds major Las Vegas entertainment shows. Shopping, Shopping and more shopping are all around us from the Quarter to Kierland to The promenade, Desert Ridge and the Mayo Blvd movies and restaurants and of course the World famous Mayo Clinic are all within less than 15 minutes away. Well known restaurants Like Morton’s, Flemings, Maestros Ocean club, Eddie V and Cheesecake factory and many more are all around us.
The house has been completely refurnished with brand new furniture, beds mattresses, linen, refrigerator and small kitchen appliances. The back yard has a brand New Weber Gas BBQ with eating area under the covered patio for your relaxation. There are 3 guest bedrooms with new queen-size beds with a double sink guest bathroom, the master has a King size bed with dresser bathroom en-suite with a smart TV. The living room is equipped with a new 55” smart TV with Wi-Fi and cable provided.
A full laundry room is available with attached 2 car parking garage with an additional spaces for 2 cars on the driveway. Please also review our second property around the corner which has a new putting green with amazing unobstructed mountain views from the pool and patio with fire pit and BBQ.

GREAT VALUE

We spent a month at this property and enjoyed our stay. We would return. The owner was available and friendly and easy to deal with. The location is perfect...many restaurants and shops and easy access to the 101. The HOA includes 2 rec centers, both with pools and hot tubs and tennis courts, and 8 pickleball courts. The property was very clean. To be fair to readers, the property does not have a pool or hot tub on site and is somewhat dated. That said, for the price this is a terrific value.

A Perfect Vacation Spot

We enjoyed our vacation at this home very much. The location was very convenient to several malls with fabulous restaurants and grocery stores. The patio/back yard was lovely and we enjoyed sitting at the large table in the comfortable cushioned chairs. The house was very cozy and comfortable. I loved the very large smart TV and the wonderful leather sectional in the family room. The kitchen is very functional with a new, large side by side refrigerator and freezer. There is plenty of counter space as well as a very large island. The mattresses were great and the huge walk-in closet was perfect for all our belongings. Best of all was our wonderful host, Phillip. He was helpful, kind, and flexible. He was responsive to the few issues we had, replying to each of our texts within 5 minutes. We had a wonderful time staying at this property and would consider returning again.

Beautiful Scottsdale

Great location on north end of Scottsdale, close to 101. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. 2 heated salt water pools within walking distance. Lots of trails in the development. Place was very clean, comfy. Phil was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend.

My wife Orna and I moved to Scottsdale 4 years ago and fell in love with the place. We live 14 minutes from the home all year round. I was born in South Africa and left in 1973 lived in Israel, Jamaica, and prior to moving to Scottsdale lived in Southern California for 30 years. We have been married for 43 years have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home a few months ago and completely refurnished it with new furniture and decorated it with some of my wife's personal artwork with the yard having Southwestern Art including Saguaro skeletons and pottery. We take great pride in our home and since we met at Hotel School and have traveled extensively around the world we understand the needs of travelers in the hospitality Industry.

What makes this property unique

We are close to everything Shopping, Golf home to the TPC Waste Management Tournament. Restaurants,Casinos, Spring Training, Car Auctions Arabian Horse Show and many other events at Westworld which is literally down the road, Very close to freeway access.
We moved here June 2014 when the temperature was 115 degrees and have never looked back.
