This place was meant for people being together.
We’re in the Macks Inn area of Island Park, about 23 miles from the West Yellowstone entrance and less than a 5-minute drive to the Henry’s Fork River. It’s an easy home base for Yellowstone days, fishing mornings, snowmobile weekends, and big family trips where everyone somehow ends up in the kitchen at the same time.
I want to be upfront — this isn’t a brand-new, modern showcase home. It’s a large mountain lodge that’s been used, enjoyed, and lived in by a lot of groups over the years. It’s built for gathering. For noise. For cousins running up and down stairs. For late-night card games and early coffee on the deck.
The Space
The home sits on one acre with trees all around, plenty of deck space, a fire pit, a volleyball area, and a hot tub for evenings when everyone finally settles down.
Inside you’ll find:
A big kitchen set up for feeding a crowd (with two refrigerators because that’s just necessary with large groups)
Multiple living spaces so people can spread out
A pool table and game area
Piano and game table
Smart TVs
A large mudroom (which you’ll appreciate in winter)
Two sets of washers and dryers (because adventure happens)
The bedrooms are spread across three levels with a mix of queen rooms and bunk spaces that work great for kids, cousins, or whoever volunteered last. It sleeps a lot of people comfortably and is designed for real use — not just pretty pictures.
Parking (And Yes, It’s a Big Deal Here)
There are two very large driveways with plenty of room for multiple vehicles, trailers, boats, or snowmobiles. No juggling cars or parking down the road.
We’re happy to accommodate trailer parking, but please note we’re not able to provide water or power hookups for trailers.
Cleanliness
We recently made a change to a new professional cleaning team and tightened our standards. That was important to me. When you walk in, I want it to feel clean, fresh, and ready for your stay.
What This Place Is (And Isn’t)
It’s a mountain lodge with character. It’s clean and cared for, but it’s not luxury-resort perfect. If you’re looking for brand-new everything and magazine styling, this may not be the right fit.
If you’re looking for space to gather, cook together, sit in the hot tub under the stars, let the kids be loud, and head into Yellowstone without a long drive — this place does that really well.

Rental Agreement & Deposit
After booking, guests will receive a standard rental agreement to review and sign (approved through Airbnb). We also place a refundable security hold similar to a hotel hold. It is released after checkout once our cleaning team confirms there is no damage or missing items.
We give guests their space, but we’re close by if you need anything.
If this sounds like the kind of place your group would enjoy, we’d be glad to host you.
