Welcome to " Heavenly Haven" (WH-4). Enjoy the large private pool (can be heated for a fee), 8 bedrooms, 7.5 baths. This beautiful third row home provides magnificent ocean views and easy access to the beach. This property provides a comfortable and relaxing vacation with many amenities, including deck access from most rooms, and every room has a TV. Sit and relax in one of the Adirondack rocking chairs on the top deck while looking at the ocean and broad, expansive sky. You will definitely feel you have come to a little slice of a Heavenly Haven that provides a relaxing respite from the challenges of daily living. Don't forget to bring your furry friends as well!

Ground Level: Game room w/ 32" widescreen TV/VCR/DVD, pool table, kitchenette w/ full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, half bath, double laundry. 

Mid Level: 2 King MBRs w/TV/DVD, King MBR w/ TV/DVD/VCR, bedroom w/ 2 Bunk Sets and a Trundle TV/DVD, bedroom w/ 2 Singles and a Trundle TV/VCR, full hall bath. 

Top Level: Kitchen w/ 2 dishwashers, 2 dining areas (2 tables - seats 20, 4 bar stools), great room w/ 40" flat screen TV/DVD, stereo w/CD, gas fireplace, King MBR TV/VCR w/semi-private full hall bath, 2 King MBRs w/ TV/DVD. 

Extras: Private Pool (14x40), can be heated for an additional $800 w/ nice, shaded cabana area, 2025 Pool Dates: 3/29/2025-10/24/2025. 2026 Pool Dates: 03/28/2026 - 10/23/2026. Hot Tub (available year-round), ELEVATOR, Volleyball, Pool Table, 10 TVs, 8 DVD players, wireless HS Internet access, video/DVD/book libraries, card/game table, outside shower, gas fireplace (seasonally), (2) charcoal grills, kitchenette. Parking: 8 Vehicles. No Smoking. Pets welcome for an extra fee ($210 plus tax, max 2 dogs). Saturday Turn-over. Bed linens are provided w/ beds made on arrival. Bath towels may be rented for $7 a set.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations: If, after your initial payment, you need to cancel your reservation, every attempt will be made to re-rent the property. All notices of cancellation must be in writing. If the property is re- rented at full price, you will receive a full refund of moneys paid, less a $150 cancellation fee, travel insurance premium (if purchased) and all applicable taxes. If the property is able to be re-rented, but at a discounted rate from what was paid, you will be refunded your rental payment, less the difference in the rental rate and the $150 cancellation fee. If the property is not able to be re-rented, you will forfeit all moneys paid to this reservation.

My family and 3 others stayed here for an OBX destination wedding for a family member. My 3 teenagers loved the space and repeatedly commented that they wanted to come to this area to vacation in the summer. Leslie, the property manager, was so responsive throughout the entire time, both before and during our stay.

A True Haven

Booked this location for Spring Break, and the communication with Leslie's Vacation Rentals was excellent from booking to checkout. The house was clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent, easy walking distance to beach access, short drive to get to drive-on beach access, and plenty of shops/local activities. Would definitely stay again.

Family vacation

My family gets together every year. We have great grandparents all the way down to an almost 2 year old. There was plenty of space for us to have a place to hang out but also enough space to spread out when needed.

Great house great location.

My family loved staying at this house, it was cozy and had plenty of room for our large family. We specifically liked the setup of the house, there were two sides so it allowed for privacy. The pool was a great size and had two sets of steps to enter the pool, the hot tub was right there also. We biked everyday and the roads were nice and flat with plenty of places to ride to. It was a short walk to the beach. We hope to stay here again next year!

Great family gathering place

My family had a wonderful time here! There were 12 of us 7 adults and 5 children (2-9 years). There was more than enough room so we were not tripping over each other as well as living and dining areas for all of us to gather. Having 2 dishwashers was definitely a plus.The pool was used every day. Definitely need to pay for pool heat this early in the season. Many places we looked into did not have the pools open.Just a short walk to the beach which was great for shelling, kite flying, sand castles and just relaxing.Once we know when spring school vacation is in 2026 we plan to go back!!

Great location but house layout wasn’t ideal

Layout of house was very choppy. Second floor was completely split. Common area was small compared to how many people can fit in house.

The middle floor of this house has two different sides that don't connect. On one side there are two king master bedrooms. The other side has the bunk room, twin room (which share a hall bath) and a King master bedroom. We find that the majority of our guests appreciate this set up as it provides space between different families. The top floor is connected.

We were very satisfied with our accommodations. The adults all stated that the layout of the home worked perfectly for our family of 10 adults and 6 grandchildren. Ages from 9 to 17. There was a great array of kitchen utensils. There was no issues getting to beach. Close enough for everyone to travel back and forth a few times each day. Only issue that came up was that the volleyball , if missed, would go into the bushes..Tough recovery. Pool was a great size.

A Heavenly Haven away from home

We had a wonderful time here. Everyone enjoyed the house. There were so many bedrooms and we didn’t even use them all. Each room is insulated great. With the bedroom doors closed, you couldn’t hear any noise from the other rooms. Everyone loved the elevator and how great it was to use to get supplies up to the kitchen on the 3rd floor. Thanks to Leslie and Jen for their help with a couple of minor issues. They responded very quickly and things were fixed within a day. We had the pool heated and enjoyed it so much. The hot tub was great too. Easy walking distance to beach access. We had a wonderful time and encourage anyone thinking of renting this house to do so.

We're ready to book again next year

Our family of 21 just spent a week at the Heavenly Haven. Our fourth trip in as many years to OBX and we finally found the house that suited our needs the best. With almost as many children as adult, the divided stairways leading from the third floor helped segregate the mini-families and keep noise to a minimum between floors. The elevator came in handy for transporting our luggage between floors and food to the kitchen. Our only complaints were no proper lights on the pool area for night swimming nor were their outdoor speakers for music during the day. A larger charcoal grill would be a nice addition in 2012 as well as well as more outdoor seating poolside. Overall, it was a great house and we're looking forward to booking it again next year.

Will certainly take your suggestions into consideration and see what we can do to make a terrific rental experience even better. More poolside seating and additional grilling capability are already in the works. We take our iPod stereo outside and plug it in when we are poolside and have found that works better than trying to maintain speakers exposed to the weather. Like you we think our house is terrific. As you mentioned having dual stairways is a fantastic feature not found in most homes. Look forward to seeing you in the near future!

I read all the other reviews and as with most ppl I tend to go with the negative … this was NOT so … yes the place is worn(lived in) no it’s not spanking new.. is your house after 15 years and 100s of ppl !! It was well taken care of and for me as clean as I would expect !! The beach while not “ right there” was well within walking distance … I am not in good shape and had no trouble getting there!!! I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay again !! As to Jen and Leslie we didn’t have much interaction but what I did have was good !

Perfect for a family gathering!

This property was very nice. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, bathrooms for everyone. With 14 people including 4 teens, 1 child and a baby, it was really great where the rooms were (kids on one side of the house, adults on the other). Well stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers and garbage is pulled to corner by a service which was great to now worry about that. With a possible hurricane coming, the property management communicated all the updates very well. Pool was beautiful and used every day (could have used a better cleaning after the storm) Beach only 10 min walk. Many stores & attractions walkable or biked. Only suggestion would be to add some Adirondack chairs to the many decks and fix up the outside a bit. Other than that, great place!

Obx outing

Property is very beautiful and the elevator is definite plus. We had one bed that sheets were not changed. Found that to be a little gross. Looked like coffee or chocolate all over. It was rough not a stain. Our water was shut off on Wednesday for approximately 2 to 3 hours to fix plumbing issue they were having before our stay. Air conditioning quit working our 1st day. Someone came out rather quickly and got it fixed for a Sunday. Pool and hottub very nice also. They came and shocked pool but didnt clean it. Overall, nice stay.

Great Location

This house is in a great location, close to Food Lion and close to easy beach access. The house is laid out were strangely, the second floor is split, and there are a lot of steps, even though there is an elevator, it is not in a good spot with the weird lay out. The beds were AMAZING!! I want a new bed at home now!! I slept great all week!! The pool is large and well maintained. We had trouble with the hot tub, but we had very good responses from Leslie's and the owner. They responded quickly to try to fix it. The house was very, very clean. I instantly felt comfortable (which is rare for a beach rental). The kitchen was very well stocked, we did not need anything, which was nice. I can't say enough about how clean the house was and the quick and effective response we got when an issue arose.

Family reunion at the beach

A group of 14 family members from all over the eastern US spent the long weekend of May 17-21 at Heavenly Haven celebrating the lives of two family members we lost in 2023. The house was perfect for us - even though we were a tad confused in the beginning by the two staircases and separate first and second floor “silos”. The separate areas ended up adding to everyone’s privacy, which truly was great. We found the kitchen amazingly well-stocked for a VRBO rental. And the pool table was an absolute highlight for the younger members of our group. The only recommendation I have is that either all bath towels and mats should be included in the rental rate (my vote) or the fact they are not currently included should be more prominent in the listing. I missed it until about a week before our arrival. It was super easy to rent them, but they really should be included.

Fun time BUT

The house is supposed to sleep 20 but dining is split up between 2 areas and 2 people would need to sit on bar stools, Location is mid way between 2 access points to the beach which makes for a long walk. The furniture is dirty and cannot accomodate all. There was no decent sized frying pan (10" largest) - I called management but nothing happened other than coming out to look around. They tell you not to remove mattress pads for laundry but there were no mattress pads! We won't rent from Leslie's again.

We are sorry that this guest did not enjoy our house and make every effort to assure the best guest satisfaction. We did go to the house immediately after the guest called requesting more frying pans and found that there were 3 frying pans at the house and mattress pad covers on the beds. There was a not a need for anything new to be delivered at that time. The house is about 300 yards to the beach access. It does accommodate 20 people to eat at the same time at two different dining tables and the furniture is cleaned regularly.

Perfect family vacation

What a pleasurable experience! We are a family ranging from 76 to 6yrs old and everyone enjoyed their stay. The house is clean and spacious. The decks had plenty of seating areas where you can enjoy the sun. The pool is a nice size to accommodate a number of people comfortably. Many enjoyed the volleyball court as well. Its a very short 5 minute walk to the beach. Even my 76yr old mother enjoyed the walk!! The elevator comes in handy when carrying the groceries or luggage upstairs. Overall a great stay.

Family fun at the beach

The location was great. Close to the beach. The house layout worked out well for us. Plenty of communal space but also an entertainment room for family that wanted to play pool, watch movies and stay up late. Swimming pool was a good size for family too.

Our stay at heavenly haven

Overall our stay was pretty good. My husband had to fix a few plumbing issues but he's a great handyman and we had tools with us. I know we're supposed to strip the sheets off the bed but I wonder how many times the bedspread was washed in between different weekly rental customers. It made me wonder if I was laying on top of a used comforter that had been slept on. Or other activities! Overall we were pleased, except for that.

A great home in a great area

The home had everything needed for a great vacation. Beds were incredibly comfortable, and plentiful. The home was clean, and having the elevator was very convenient for moving groceries. The great room provided ample space for gathering and relaxing. Some furniture and fixtures could use minor repairs, but that did not detract from our enjoyment in the least
