Beach front Cozy Beautiful 1 bdr apt right in front of the beach w/ lots of light located just 15 minutes south across the border into Baja Mexico. Its centrally located steps from all the coffee places, restaurants, bars in the malacon... Sleep comfortably and relaxed w/ our plush bed and the sounds of the waves pounding the sand. NOTE: If you don’t have a passport don’t worry, just bring your drivers license. We count w/ all essentials to enjoy a wonderful stay. We'd love to host you

The property was poorly maintained and unclean. Hair on rugs and floor was black on foot. Kitchen hardware including coffee pot were rusted. Instructional video on YouTube link provided by host showed wrong way entry which is illegal and can get tourist in big trouble. There is another entry by Oxxo going the right direction. When issues were brought up to the host, the host (John) denied everything and said the unit is "clean". That's the quality they uphold. They claimed they have 22 units there. I'd stay the h-ll away from this host. We gave up the last day stay and rented a hotel instead. Yak! Renter beware!

The apartment itself is clean and nice looking the time I went was in Memorial weekend, the surrounding area is under construction. There is a dance club Called Despecho thats looks like fun but did not have time to visit it. What I didnt like was the parking it was difficult to find and we had to walk like 5 min to our apartment. The experience was decent for last minute and it was also really cold for my wife.There are nice coffee shops around as well.

Beautiful view, clean inside, reasonably comfortable, little noisy

Plus side: fantastic views from the Islas Coronado to the south to the San Diego skyline and Point Loma to the north. Watched dolphins, seabirds and shoals of fish. Gorgeous ocean sunsets every evening. Great restaurants within easy walk. Unit was clean and nicely decorated. Bed was okay. Very close to the border and a short drive to great surfing, Popotla fish market, Rosarito, Ensenada and points south. Fridge is small but kept beer very cold. On the down side: The building is old and the stairway is treacherous. There is no on site parking and we were warned about crime in the area. The area is a bit noisy but the sounds of the surf often drowned that out. Owners did not have enough bedding, towels and toilet paper supplied. Shower curtain does not keep water off the floor.

Rental is not whats publicized

This place is a scam of a rental, first off we did not get the code for access until 3am and it was not even working had to contact owner to have it reset so we could get in. Second issue is got inside and the pictures are nothing to what is on the publication , completely smaller and non cozy I mean it was like from night to day difference. It is sad I cant post the actual pictures here to show how bad a difference it is. Lay down on bed and not even 20 minutes starting feeling something crawling on me and my GF same, Bed was so wore out it sunk in the middle very uncomfortable. It was so bad we ended up leaving after 30 to 40 minutes and rented a hotel that was much cleaner and cheaper. Tried several times contacting vrrbo support to try to get money back and all they would say is they are contacting owner to see what they say. I sent them pictures of the difference of the room pictures. They also asked for pictures of the bugs on bed but could not since I did not stick around to take pics of them but also did not want to send pictures of body where I had bites all over. At end owner would not pick up phone.
