lovely studio overlooking emerald bay! private entrance, parking deck and bbq area make it feel like a cozy cottage! walk to the lake and restaurants, market, laundromat, gym, and antiquing in cedar glen. huge private deck with incredible lakeview comes furnished with lounges, outside dining and bbq. property is dog-friendly. the studio is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed and a convertible sofa. there is a dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave oven, toaster oven electric skillet, coffeemaker dishes and kitchen essentials. the full bath comes with bathroom necessities (soaps, shampoo, toilet paper, Kleenex, hair dryer )and quality towels and linens are provided. lake arrowhead village is 10 minutes away, to san manuel casino 8 miles, sky park 1.6 miles, lake gregory 5.8 and snow valley 8 miles. the property has lake rights and guests have access to the lake trails. internet access and amazon and netflix are provided free of charge. please do not rent per-per-view movies! property has lake rights. guests may use owner's lake pass to access the private lake trails after purchasing wrist bands ($10/person) from lake association.

Perfect Anniversary Getaway!

The studio was small & lovely and perfect for 2 adults & medium size dog, but the real winner is the patio deck with the beautiful view of the lake. It was a very relaxing and peaceful getaway.

Cozy getaway

This was the perfect place for a little getaway. It was very cozy and the view was amazing. It was very clean. We used the space heater and it stayed nice and warm inside despite it being quite chilly outside. The owner was very helpful and offered us early check in and a later check out time so that we could leisurely enjoy more time in the mountains. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay.

Spent most of our time on the expansive deck among beautiful mature trees, a decent view of the lake and made some friends with resident blue jays. Rustic, eclectic and very comfortable.. Bridget was a very accommodating and friendly host.

Lake Arrowhead Stay

Our stay in Cedar Glen (neighbor to Lake Arrowhead) was just perfect. Brigitte’s property is perfect for a couple and met all of our needs. We spent our time at Lake Arrowhead Village and SkyPark, both just a short drive from the residence. On the holiday when most things were closed we spent our time on the deck, enjoying the view of the lake. It was a very nice getaway.

Lake Arrowhead

The owner was on site. She is sooooo sweet. I felt welcomed and even invited her to have a glass of wine with us. The apartment is cute. The highlight of the property is the private deck with a gorgeous lake view. We loved the quiet and peacefulness. The sunsets were amazing! We were only 10 minutes away from the village with shopping and restaurants. We will go here again and again.

A Hidden Gem!

We stayed 2 nights at this adorable studio to attend a wedding in Arrowhead. It was absolutely perfect! The private deck with the view was amazing, and needless to say we spent a lot of time sitting out there enjoying the peace and calm. The studio was very clean (and I’m a clean freak.) The set up in the studio is great. Everything you need can be found in there. There’s a market/deli a few minutes away as well as my newest and absolute favorite coffee place ever Mountain Coffee Co. Brigette was quick to respond when we had a question. Don’t hesitate to book this place, it’s truly a hidden gem!!!

Location is excellent, peek a boo view of lake from the deck. Owner very helpful in giving suggestions of places to eat with our golden retriever. House could use some updating. Wifi directions not functional but once we found owner she was able to correct.

Not so great

We were disappointed in the place. I was notified by the owner that the place was ready and we could check In early. We were so excited when we got there at 2:30 pm we opened the door and noticed that it had not been cleaned. I notified the owner and it turns out she never had the cleaning lady clean the place. The owner notified me that it was. a misunderstanding and that the cleaning lady would have the cabin cleaned by 5 pm. When I asked the owner if I could get. a discount she replied that check in was not until 4 and to that I responded well you messaged me it was ready by 1 pm if you had not messaged me we would have waited till 4 but even then the place would not be ready till 5 pm radio silence. The cleaning lady arrived at 3:36 pm which meant we had to leave until 5 pm making it an inconvenience. It was such a bad experience that we checked out one whole day earlier. Will not be staying there again

Peaceful, Serene Scenery... Nice Stay!

We spent four nights in this cute little studio with our medium-size dog, and loved every minute of it! It's rustic and homey, with a cabin-in-the-woods feel. Knowing that the kitchenette is rudimentary, we brought a picnic basket with meats and cheeses, but brought food back from local restaurants to enjoy on the deck with the nice view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable, with pillows in a variety of sizes so we slept soundly. Speaking of sound, it was very quiet... with the exception of some early evening music interludes coming from the nearby neighborhood. We guessed it was a DJ preparing for Oktoberfest, as there were repeated snippets of the same songs. But that never lasted long, and we didn't mind it at all. We saw blue jays, hummingbirds, squirrels, and chipmunks in abundance. We spent a lot of time on the deck lounge chairs just enjoying the lake view and relaxing between excursions. The steep hillside provides privacy and kept our dog from wandering far (along with pet gates conveniently provided by the host). The host Brigitte was available quickly when we had an issue with the internet. (The provider had just done some work and download speeds were very slow.) She checked to see if it self-resolved, and had a plan in case it didn't. Turns out, we preferred being a bit off-the-grid! We love to hike and were looking forward to the trails around the lake, but the process for procuring bracelets ($10 each per person per day you wish to use them) was clunky at best. Then they wanted to affix bright yellow bracelets to us on Tuesday for a one-day walk on Thursday. It was all too much, so we bailed on that idea and did a hike elsewhere. (Not the host's fault; it's the Lake Association.)

Absolutely perfect spot , close proximity to downtown , markets , hiking trails around the lake and around town. Really enjoyed the large deck for morning coffee and afternoon crafts and dinner . Bed was comfortable, coffee pot, microwave, fridge with freezer etc. Beautiful views, so peaceful . Host was so easy to communicate with and even offered us a late check out to sleep in . 5 stars,

This small studio/cabin has some wonderful features — the lake view and sunsets are beautiful, the large shaded deck is great, Having lake rights for hikes and the beach: much appreciated. Studio was clean, peaceful, quiet, and with well-supplied cooking options.There here are several things guests should know. The refrigerator is only a mini (not clear in the listing), and very little counter space for food prep. There’s no washer/dryer in the unit (available next door if you stay 30 days), and the TV is small and positioned above the head of the bed, so no watching from the bed. Netflix required our own login. There is no place to hang up your clothes. Some items went missing after the cleaning woman came through (shampoo, conditioner, razor, loofah, facial scrub, dog treats, Keurig pods, and a flashlight for walking the dog at night.) Owner acknowledged some of the items were taken by the housecleaner but no replacements or restitution was offered.Only 3 nice bath towels for the week. No hand towels/wash cloths. Shampoo but no conditioner. Beach towels are very nice. TP: we had to purchase our own refills. Maintenance issues: broken bathroom door handle, no covers on two electrical sockets, and lanterns/games without batteries. deck benches were broken (a safety issue).Accessibility could also be challenging for anyone not very mobile. Parking and backing out of the hilly parking area is also very challenging. Neighborhood and access road is rundown/shabby.

Great studio apartment with lovely lakeside view from large amazing deck. Cute kitchenette fully stocked. Comfy bed, with lots of blankets and towels. Gas grill works great with comfy outdoor furniture. We had access to the lakeside trails with our hosts pass. Our host was friendly and responsive. We would definitely come back again!

Great view of the lake

We loved this little hideaway with a patio that had a wonderful view of the lake. The place was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was quiet and close to a good breakfast place and about 10 minutes from Lake Arrowhead proper. We would certainly use the place again.

Easy friendly stay

Brigitte was a wonderful host! She offered us early checkin and late check out as an option. We didn't get to utilize it because of our schedule but it was nice for her to offer. She was also quick to respond when we needed to add my husband to the ALA list to get a wristband to walk around the lake. In terms of comfort, the place was cozy with all the pillows and blankets. She even had a heater and fan available for our use. Bathroom was also very clean. Her place had a beautiful view of the lake from where we were. Nice and peace, just what we needed to get away from the city for a weekend. We made a nice meal there on the first night and the kitchen was well stocked so it was easy to make food. The place is also dog friendly and even had a dog toys. Our dog, Matcha, loved it there!

i am a retired airline hostess and have owned several businesses. i was born and raised in germany where i worked as a translator for NATO. in 1967 i took a leave of absence to work in the us for a year. i started flying for western and then delta airlines, fell in love with this country and my new job and i have been here ever since. i have seen much of the world and spent half of my life in hotels. consequently i know all about the little things that make a place away from home special.

Why they chose this property

i fell in love with this house the minute i saw the view. lake arrowhead and the mountains bring back fond memories of my childhood in germany. the change of the seasons is wonderful and each season has something special to offer: watching the mountain come alive in spring, the fabulous free summer concerts in the village, the art and wine festival, the yearly home tour, the wooden boat show, plays at the tudor house, the wildlife sanctuary!, hiking around the lake, enjoying the private beaches, and last but not least nearby skiing and other winter sports.

What makes this property unique

the chalet has lake rights and is private, yet centrally located. several outside seating areas are fun to explore. most of the year you can lounge in the hammock or enjoy sleeping on the deck. since all pots/pans etc. are electric you can cook on the serving cart on the deck using the provided extension cord or bbq on the propane bbq on the bbq deck. several restaurants are within walking distance and the mini market in cedar glen has fresh takeout or prepares sandwiches to order. you may also see a couple of deer or a few racoons frolicking below the deck and if you fill the birdfeeder you will wake up to their chirping in the morning.
