It was very easy to rent the property and our stay was very nice. Lots of amenities that fit my three children's ages and plenty of space for relaxation at our place and the property.
Christmas Mountain Village was a great place to stay while in the Dells. We were able to go into town quickly, but then come back and relax! It was comfy and cool. Thanks

Love Christmas mountain lots to do in and around the resort !! Communication between the owner and us was perfect!! They were fast at getting back to us with questions definitely staying with them Again !! This was the first time using vrbo and the experience was easy !! Thank u soo much !
Description of property would have been nice on listing. I expected a 2 bed/2 bath one level timber and this was a deluxe timber where the second bedroom was on second level. Both my sister and I have bad knees, second floor bedroom was difficult.
These are the things it needs, Hot pads for oven, drying pad or dish drainer, blind for door in downstairs bedroom, toaster sets off smoke alarm, bar in upstairs bathroom to help get up from using toilet for people that have bad knees or back problems, new dryer- existing one gets hot and won’t work until it cools down . Overall tho, it was a good place to stay in.
Great size, two bedroom deluxe rental with two balconies. Everything was clean and easy to use. The hills around were pretty intimidating and the check in wasn't the best. We stayed 4 nights but we're locked out after the second due to a processing error but that wasn't our renters fault. Overall a great stay.
We received a free upgrade, so we ended up in ones of the townhomes. Overall the townhome was nice. The carpeting looked like it could use a better vacuuming as there were some small leaves here and there, but the rest of the property was clean. The deck outside the
The villa we rented was very spacious for 5 people. 2 bathrooms, loft with fireplace and king size bed and private full bath. Washer and dryer. Second bedroom queen bed. Fireplace in living area. Kitchen is a huge plus. Property nice Ana quiet. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend.
Very comfortable, nice townhouse. Couldn't figure out how to get the channel menu on the TV in the living room. The one in downstairs bedroom works better. Some movie channels really would have been nice. Oh, the freezer ice maker doesn't seem to shut off and was frozen. I managed to get it out and defrost it. Other than that everything was great! Enjoyed our stay.

Unit we chose for our stay is not what we got.
We were very unhappy to be given a different unit that had many, many steps up to it plus stairs inside to the bedroom. The colors are very dark and drab and the furniture is uncomfortable: very hard. We originally chose the 2bedroom 2 bath Timber unit. That is not where we stayed. We were not given a name for the townhouse unit where we stayed.
This was a great property and I've stayed here several times in the past. There was one issue that I tried to communicate to the front desk and was told some misinformation. There was a loud bang, similar to a cannon going off and it shook the whole townhouse. This noise wasn't just once, it was frequent, slowing at night. but still, that loud noise at 2 am and 3 am and 4 am..... was a lot to handle. After 2 days, I had to move the fridge back as it had walked forward from all of the shaking because I could not open the Dishwasher. Font desk told me that everyone had it and it was a pump. I asked my neighbor in the next building and they didn't have it, so it was our townhouse only. Other than that, it was a great stay.
I would give our experience here an 4.5. Our family of 4 stayed here in a Deluxe Timber in July. The location was great—was away from the hub-nub of the downtown area, but not too far away that it was inconvenient. We loved that the resort had a lot of activities to offer—paddle boats, canoes, fishing. My son and husband actually went fishing one morning. The accommodations were great also, plenty of room for our family if 4. My son slept on the pullout sofa bed. All the linens were provided for it. The kitchen had all the basics you would need to cook in. The only complaint I have was the master bathroom shower. The tile floor was gross. There was mold/mildew in several spots, and there was some cracking in the sections of tiles. The shower had several jet sprayers. One of them was broken. The communication with the staff at the front desk was great. Crystal was very helpful and if I had questions, she was just a text away. Crystal or someone at the front desk always responded promptly. Thank you for a great stay. We would likely stay here again!
I took my mother and two boys for a four night stay over New Years. The place was very spacious and we had a Genaire grill for us to use to grill steaks and lobster. Due to Covid the workout center was closed down along with the hot tub and sauna. The pool was open and lovely for young kids. We did the two hour presentation for blue green properties which turned into two hours and 45 minutes. There was no way I was getting into a timeshare but it allowed us $200 in free services so we ate out at the restaurant often. We could also use it towards skiing or tubing. The only hill open was the bunny hill and I tried to wait in the line for tubing which would have taken me two hours to get tickets because there was only one person working and it was very slow going. No one likes to answer phones it seems, so I had to physically wait in line. We ended up leaving and went to cascade for skiing instead. Highly recommend. The units are spacious but fairly cheaply made. Walls are thin and you can hear every creek from upstairs and the neighbors. The adjoining neighbors had a very amorous New Year’s celebration which we heard each night very vividly for hours. Thankfully they waited until the kids went to bed to entertain us. Overall the place was nice, food was good and hopefully once Covid is over the service is better. If you go to the timeshare presentation do not get hooked. Rent on VRBO and save yourself $48,500 along with annual headaches of a timeshare. Going to the presentation does earn you $200 so I figured it was an easy way to make a hundred dollars an hour. Warning, they will keep you past the 2 hours if you aren’t direct.
All the resort staff and indoor pool were excellent. Our booking of a timber was switched to a townhome, also at Christmas Mountain Village, so that we would not have to move during our stay. We had to contact resort services three times ( three night stay) for large issues that were promptly corrected. The unit was filthy, many things were not working correctly, and there were more bugs than I would expect. Overall, I would not recommend Christmas Mountain Village based on this experience.
The property is great. Fun for all ages. However this listing is bait n switch. We were under the impression we were getting a condo, single floor unit and instead checked into a townhome with about 3p stairs that our Handicapped son is unable to do. We were unable to switch and charged the same price for a row half the size.
