About this property

Cottage for 2 to 10 people with heated pool

In the heart of a Champagne wine estate, located on the tourist wine route, the Renaissance gite is a comfortable house in a peaceful, wooded park. You will find on the ground floor an equipped kitchen, a dining room, living room, a bathroom with shower, wc and two double bedrooms. Upstairs you can also have 2 bedrooms each containing a double bed and a single bed as well as a toilet and a bathroom on the landing. Household linen is provided upon arrival. For your entertainment, a heated outdoor swimming pool from May 15 to August 31 is available in front of a large terrace adjoining the house. On arrival a bottle of Champagne from the Domaine will be offered to you. We will also ask you for a deposit of 250 euros on arrival which will be returned to you before your departure.

Lovely property, great location and excellent service

We had a lovely week in Champagne country and were well looked after by Nathalie and Gilbert who proved to be very attentive. The property proved to be exactly what we were looking for. We were able to visit local places of interest and go on very suitable bike rides. Altogether, a very relaxing week.

lovely family home in heart of champagne region

The house is owned by a champagne maker, and there are several other champagne sellers within walking distance as well as easy access to the tourist trails, so great location. A short drive to the Local town of Bar-sur-Aube has supermarkets, bakery etc. A big house, lovely sloping grounds, easily accommodated our party of 10.

A spacious house

A spacious house set among the vineyards of the Champagne region, it has everything you would expect to need, the pool was well used even though the weather was unseasonably cold. Bar is a great place for shopping and also for a walk around and has a lovely market on a Saturday. Sadly we had to leave early due to a family tragedy, but would recommend this place

Beautiful cottage in a lovely part of France

We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. The lakes were just 30mins away too and made a great beach day out. Finally, the champagne was very nice, of course and was the icing on the cake.

Perfect house and great owners

We stayed in the house for four days and had a great time! You have all the comforts you need...and some more. You need to have a car because it is a few kilometers from the nerrest town, but in return you get absolute peace and relaxation. We traveled around a lot and were in both Reims, Eperney, Troyes, but also in several wonderfully charming villages around. Nathalie and Gilbert were a wonderful host and couple! They showed us their winery/wine yard and their champagne was really tasty!

Fantastic propwrty for a family stay

We had a wonderful time at this property and it exceeded our expectatations! The 4 kids (aged 7 to 13) loved the pool and it was a good size and depth for them. The little one couldnt touch the bottom in the deep bit but there were shallower areas nearby so it was fine. Plenty of shade throughout the day in the garden with lots of different places to sit. AC in the property was helpful on one very hot day The area was very rural and quiet which suited us but a bonus for the kids was the nearby Nigloland theme park, which they loved. The shops in the nearby town were only 10 minutes away. A great property in a lovely area!

Séjour agréable malgré quelques déconvenues

Soucis d'horaire pour l'arrivée qui ont été compensés par un départ plus tardif. Maison bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire, on était à l'aise à 8. Grosse déception sur la piscine "chauffée" qui était à 17°à notre arrivée et n'a guère monté durant le weekend (18-19 en surface à notre départ). Nous avions choisi la maison pour la piscine... Dommage !

Great house

Lovely spacious house .The pool was great and had plenty of use during our stay. Gilbert and Natalie are wonderful hosts who left us alone to enjoy our holiday the complimentary champagne was much appreciated. The house is located in the heart of the Champagne region and is air conditioned for comfort. There is a remote controlled gate for security Highly recommended.
