Ideally located 15 minutes from the Castelnaudary motorway and its legendary cassoulet, 30 minutes from Toulouse, 45 minutes from the big blue, with the air of Nougaro and Brassens, come and relax in the heart of nature, in this spacious contemporary construction of 370 m².
On the ground floor, a large living room / dining room / kitchen of 150 m² open onto a panoramic terrace with swimming pool (11x6), 5 bedrooms each with a 160 bed, a walk-in shower and a toilet.
Upstairs, a dormitory with 4 single beds, a shower and a separate toilet. As well as 3 secure mezzanines allowing different activities.

We came all the way from northern Germany, and this house was definitely worth the long trip.Eric and Anita were amazing hosts – very kind and always ready to listen.The house was clean and modern, and we especially loved the open kitchen area.We would come back anytime!

The whole stay was absolutely amazing. Erick and his family couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. Any issue no matter how small was dealt with in a timely manner. The house was amazing and out of the way of any other properties allowing our group to be as noisy or quiet without worry. All kitchen appliances were ample for our group of 17. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Lovely countryside home

Beautiful house, surrounded by fields with gorgeous horses and donkeys roaming around. My sons love horses and were thrilled too to watch some dressage. Only issue for us was not being able to lock a patio door but this was minor. Many thanks Eric and Anita.

Great big family holiday

Three generations of family holidaying together for 2 weeks. House great, Eric very helpful, location good. More than adequate equipment in the house, loads of beds, walking distance from Saint Papoul which has a small epercie, lovely restaurant, great boulangerie with croissants to die for. Chez Alice serves coffee and other drinks as well as being the corner shop. If you want larger shops just a short drive away. Eric dealt with the small issues we had very quickly as lives just across the road. Children loved the horses and the pool. Pizza van in the village on Tuesday evening but if you want to use it place your order by 4,00 p.m. We all had a great time. Thank you

Absolument génial! L'environnement exceptionnel, au milieu de la nature avec vue sur les prés, les chevaux et les ânes sans vis-à-vis. L'espace intérieur de la villa en général est très vaste, une belle hauteur sous plafond, de grandes tables. Les pièces à vivre et les chambres sont très spacieuses et bien agencées. Une belle déco contemporaine alliant de beaux matériaux comme le bois et l'acier donne un ton trés agréable. Parfait pour un séjour entre amis avec ses nombreuses chambres doubles avec WC et Douche privatives.On se sent vraiment bien dans cette villa!Le contact avec le propriétaire est très agréable et son accueil est vraiment sympathique. Nous pensons bien revenir dès que possible.

We hadden een super fijn verblijf. De communicatie met de eigenaar liep heel fijn, de afspraken voor het toekomen en vertrek werden in onderling overleg vlot gemaakt.Het huis is groot en ruimtelijk wat fijn is om iedereen een plekje te geven. Alles is aanwezig om een fijne vakantie te hebben, van een koffiemachine tot een ijsblokjesmachine, een wasmachine, een zwembad en goed uitgeruste keuken, alles met een prachtig uitzicht. Alles wat we ons konden wensen was aanwezig. Wij zullen het huis en de eigenaars zeker aanprijzen bij volgende gasten.

Séjour exceptionnel dans cet écrin de nature. Toute la famille a adoré le lieu, le logement très grand et fonctionnel, chaleureux et magnifique. Un super weekend entre amis

Un grand merci à Eric pour l'accueil dans sa superbe maison. Propice aux moments de partage et de convivialité, nous avons passé un super weekend à St Papoul.Chacun peut avoir son propre espace. Un dortoir de 5 lits simples et les autres chambres sont des lits doubles, avec une salle de bain par chambre.L'espace cuisine est vraiment pensé pour les grands groupes, ainsi que le mobilier.L'extérieur est également très agréable. Bref, nous avons passé un super séjour. Merci également à Eric et sa fille qui ont su être réactifs quand nous avions des besoins/demandes.

Bezaubernde Unterkunft

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Es gab genug Platz für alle, jedoch war es in dem Zimmer unter dem Dach sehr Warm, ohne Klimaanlage. Die Lage ist vernarb von dem nächsten Ort, doch mit dem Auto kein Problem, dafür ist es dort auch sehr ruhig. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass wir dort eine schöne Zeit hatten und es weiter empfehlen können.

Les espaces du premier étage sont tous équipés de fenêtres de toit ( 6 au total ) qu il suffit d ouvrir à la demande . C est plus sain qu une Clim ! La spécificité du gîte de Pique Musel est de se trouver en pleine nature , a 3 kms d une épicerie boulangerie et à 6 kms de plusieurs centres commerciaux . Certes ce n est pas un pavillon de banlieue cerné de voies rapides …

Idéal pour groupe d’amis

Maison hyper spacieuse, agencée pour le confort des grands groupes. Hyper équipée pour cuisiner sans que rien ne manque. La présence de sdb et WC dans chaque chambre est un gros plus. La literie est très confortable. Le propriétaire des lieux a été arrangeant du début à la fin. Nous avons passé un super séjour et nous tenons tous à remercier Éric pour son accueil !

Parfait pour les grands groupes!

Semaine entre amis (groupe de 15 personnes), la villa est largement assez dimensionnée pour cette taille, avec tout l'équipement adapté. Eric est très agréable et la communication est facile et rapide. Donc pas de regrets on a tous passés une bonne semaine !

Top of the Papouls!

We had a wonderful time but with a few niggles. Silly things that would have made the overall rating a FIVE STAR one, had we not experienced them. 1. Internet connection very slow, even when close to the router. There was a booster but for a different Wi-Fi connection that we were unable to access. 2. No hairdryer! 3. No cleaning liquids…requiring us to purchase. 4. Drain smell from one of the showers. 5. Main door would not lock! 6. More “local” information would have been helpful. 7. Oh! and the flies! Otherwise, a great stay in a lovely house hosted by the charming, Eric and Tanya. They must come and visit us in Canterbury! Thanks to them.

Tolles Haus mit netten Gastgebern

Excellentes vacances!

Un très bon accueil du propriétaire qui s'est rendu disponible suite à nos quelques demandes. La maison, spacieuse et située en pleine nature, est conforme aux photos: nous n'avons pas été déçus! Une clim' dans la grande chambre sous les toits serait juste appréciable par fortes chaleurs. Mis à part ce petit détail, nous sommes tous enchantés de notre séjour à la villa Pique Musel!
