Red Lodge's premier property! 100 acres located in the West Fork area of Red Lodge is the playground of the area. Immediately next to miles of maintained hiking and cross country ski trails as well as access to Silver Run Plateau and trail head. This property is 10 minutes from Red Lodge Mountain ski area and 10 min from downtown. It has easy access to Yellowstone Park, Cooke City. The property is on the west fork of Rock Creek so is very scenic. Fishing and hiking all summer!

Silver Run Show Stopper

This property does not disappoint. It’s in a breathtaking setting. It has easy access to the most popular hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Silver Run). Everything was very clean and the bedrooms are lovely and comfortable. The house has a large great room and a huge fireplace along with high vaulted ceilings creating an open and airy feel. My family loved staying here. Easy check in and check out.

Exceptional!

We booked the silver run cabin for a family get together of 6 adults and 5 kids. We fit perfectly with room to spare. The kids loved the bunkhouse, which was stocked with toys and a tv. This home is beautifully maintained and fully stocked for entertaining with family of all ages in mind. The owner has thought of everything from books for kids, to Tylenol for headaches. It was impeccably clean. The views from every room in the house are breathtaking. The pictures online do not do this home justice. It is close to cross country skiing, downhill skiing and hiking and just a short drive to Red Lodge. We can't wait to come back.

Excellent experience. Host very responsive to questions. 3 miles from town and 3 miles from ski lifts. PERFECT location. Site was well stocked and came with everything. Road to house can be tricky and would recommend all wheel drive in the winter

I have stayed in this home several times and each time it gets better. The hosts are thoughtful and anticipate needs of their guests. The setting is idyllic and our large group had a wonderful time!

Perfect mountain getaway.

We rented this house for a work retreat to celebrate our great summer! There were 14 of us and it was the perfect house. Beautiful scenery, nice and roomy and all the comforts of home. I would go back again for sure.

Heaven on earth

This is a very special place. Beautiful surroundings, cozy for multiple families, just the right amount of furnishings and toys/books/blankets etc. to feel comfortable but not feel like we’re just in someone else’s living space, and quality in the details. We all had so much fun and hope to make this a regular place for our family and friends. Thank you to the Owens family who graciously is willing to share this special place with others.

Best vacation ever!!!

Pictures don't say enough about the cabin. It's all you could ask for. Plenty of room to move around and all the nessesities to feel at home. Wish we should have stayed longer. The trip to Yellowstone ovet the mountain from the cabin is worth the drive. I never write reviews unless I am completely disappointed but this was the exact opposite. THANKS JAKIE!

We LOVED this home to stay with our friends & family for a long weekend getaway. It was so close to Red Lodge Mountain. The home had all the amenities you could want or need. The real fireplace was wonderful after a full day of skiing. The hot tub was perfect as well. We would definitely stay here again!!

This cabin was cozy yet spacious with beautiful views. Nearby access to Silver Run trailhead and a short drive from ski area and downtown. Great room is inviting with vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplace. Fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals and enjoy the views. Huge hot tub for apres ski! Warm, plush bedding and nice mattresses provided good rest. Cabin was immaculately clean! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for multiple families and friends!! Hope to stay here again soon!!

Spacious home surrounded by stunning scenery!

This cabin is the perfect size for 3 or 4 couples or for hosting up to 2-3 families for a ski get-away. For our girl's weekend we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after skiing all day at nearby Red Lodge Mountain. The large mud room/ski storage area kept all our gear warm and ready for the next ski day. It's also much quieter, and therefore more relaxing, then other places we have rented much closer to town. The evening we arrived we spotted a coyote hunting for its dinner through the binoculars provided in the dining room. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, make coffee and tea, plus chill a few bottles of wine. It's a large kitchen so several people can help with meal preparations plus the floor plan is open to the dining room and living room so it's easy to socialize while cooking or cleaning up. There was plenty of firewood stacked right out back on the large wrap-around deck and we enjoyed making fires both in the morning and evening which helped warm up the huge living/dining room and kitchen space. All linens were clean, pillows were brand new, beds were comfortable and the decor is charming! If you have small kids you may want to note that the bunk room is located past the kitchen, through the mudroom, adjacent to the garage entryway - not near to the other bedrooms in the house. This is most likely a perk for older kids though that want their own hang out area. The host was super responsive and I look forward to returning again!

We are locals from Red Lodge that enjoy spending time at the cabin. We have a large and young family so it lends itself amazingly well to outdoor sports. The kids always come home tired and happy!

Why they chose this property

This was and is our family home. My Grandparents built the current house in 1989 and it has been in my family exclusively. We love the location and proximity to all Red Lodge and the Beartooths have to offer
