ISLAND TIME TOWNHOME - Best Location & Amenities!

Welcome to amazing St. Simons Island and the new Island Time Townhome!

You cannot beat this total package for the price, space and perfect “South Island” location, less than a mile from East Beach and a mile from the popular village, pier and famous lighthouse!

Our townhome is fully furnished with two stories, so no upstairs or downstairs neighbors. It is very spacious and includes an open concept kitchen, dining area and den. It offers a half bath downstairs and full bath upstairs. We have two upstairs bedrooms - the master has a queen bed and the second / guest has two twin beds. The den sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed as well.

Our townhouse also offers a wonderful, air conditioned (window unit) sunroom to relax and store beach items, plus a futon that can provide another sleeping option. The recently rebuilt back deck features privacy walls, a new gas grill and cafe-style, patio string lights.

Our townhome offers a fully equipped kitchen with full size appliances, including dishwasher, refrigerator and range (oven & stove top). Plus, it has its own clothes washer and dryer (many SSI rentals do not have these) located upstairs between the two bedrooms. All the conveniences of home!

Our townhouse community offers a great little pool and a fire pit to enjoy. In addition, we have on-site single stream recycling, located within the fenced dumpster area. The complex is quiet and very well kept. We love our home away from home and we know that you will too!

Guests are welcome to use our four bikes, but as absentee owners, we cannot guarantee the working condition of each bike. So please think of our bikes as bonus amenities, not guaranteed amenities.

We allow dogs, but have to be selective due to past experiences. Please tell us about your furry friend in your reservation request. We prefer smaller, well behaved dogs that are crated when not supervised that is not much into barking. We require that they be leashed when outdoors, with a human buddy picking up what they leave behind. We reserve the right to terminate any stay without refund if a pet isn’t disclosed to us or is being destructive (we will bill for damage), barks for long periods or isn’t properly attended to outside. If we approve your pet request, an additional pet fee of $65 would apply and be billed separately via VRBO before your stay.

Our unit number, front door keypad code, pool gate code and wifi network information will be messaged to you the day before your arrival.

This is a wonderful home in a quiet neighborhood with an easy 20 minute walk to several restaurants, stores, and the beach. My family of 5 had a great time and felt at home here. The host is very responsive, which was greater appreciated! I highly recommend staying here!

Sweet little condo in a pleasant area

Brought my girls down for the week of 4th of July. Rented this condo because it was pet friendly and also close to East Beach. While we did have a hiccup in our stay, the owners made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely rent from them again. We had a great time!

We appreciated the back deck, bbq, and use of bikes. The townhome is about 2 miles from town and East Beach, and about a mile from Massengale Park. The townhome could use some updating, but that is to be expected, based on the reasonable price. Communication with the owners was fast, easy, and pleasant.

We had a great time with good weather. We enjoyed exploring the island and riding the bikes. I do wish that the owners of these rentals would just pay a little extra and provide Netflix for their guests. Overall a very good experience.

Nice stay

The condo was an older property in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was very close to our condo, and we were the only ones using it when we were there. All the items needed for our stay were provided so that was a real plus. It was a very comfortable place to stay. I would suggest that all Vrbo properties have brochures available to help renters decide where to visit and eat during their stay, as well as, directions for using the remotes.

Perfect for our family

This property was perfect for what we needed. We have family on the island and we had family meeting us on the island, so we needed a nice place in a good location and this was perfect. We weren't there a lot, but we needed a place to use as our "base of operations" and to lay our heads, of course. The bikes, small boogie board, games, and other items were also very helpful to have around for our times in the place. We enjoyed the pool one morning, and I would run or ride a bike each morning...the place is only like .5 mile to the beach so great runs in the mornings! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had most of the things we needed. I would recommend this place.

This property is in dire need of upgrading…toilet seats worn to wood, dirty shower curtain, screened porch with unstable furniture and 5 bikes stuffed in the porch. Water stains on ceiling, spare bedroom beds were child’s twin bed..very uncomfortable…water was shut off for a day due to unpaid water bill.

Great condo

The condo was nicely decorated and had everything we needed for a week at the beach. It was nice to have the pool to go to as well, especially since their was a lot of rain during our stay. We would visit the pool between showers. Neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Great dining options and shopping at the pier was nice too.

Wonderful Location & Experience!

For 10+ yrs, I have gone to SSI to house & dog sit at my friends home while she went away for 2 wks every summer. I fell in love with the Island. THEN, she moved to another state & my( free) regular vacation there ended. My adult daughter had never been there, so we had a Mother-Daughter vacation. Knowing the Island well, I picked this VRBO because I knew it was a GREAT location - close to the beaches I used & the Village, Pier & eating areas!! It did NOT disappoint!! The kitchen is clean & fully equipped to meet your needs. QUIET location with friendly neighbors. Upon our arrival we rec’d a more detailed email from the owners on things to do, places to eat, beach & grocery store locations which would be very helpful for those first SSI visitors! The owners responded quickly to my emails when I had a simple question!. I highly recommend this VRBO & will use it again if I have the opportunity to return!

We had a nice stay at this property. It was a good location, close to the beach and restaurants. We stayed with our 3 and half year old, and the unit was kid friendly overall. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming. The furniture is a little dated and not the most comfortable.

Makeover needed

This place is in dire need of a makeover. The furniture is very old and uncomfortable. There are a lot of things broken or missing: Stove exhaust fan (broken), no oven light, light over the sink doesn't work, no grill utensils, rear storm door doesn't latch, rear door window doesn't stay up, spare bedroom closet door broken, rugs are stained, light in spare bedroom broken (we bought a new one and left it), a few roaches in the kitchen (common in the south, I suppose), no patio furniture or chairs, trash can lid broken, queen mattress/boxspring in main bedroom with an unattached king headboard (mattress has rips in it and foam occasionally comes out), pots and pans were old, no complete set of measuring cups or spoons, no knifes (we had to buy our own, and our own grill utensils). Positives: new gas grill, good hot water, good water pressure, quiet ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms, quiet neighborhood, washer and dryer work great, close to downtown and East Beach.

Oh goodness. My family was there in January and had a much different stay. You may always contact us during your stay and we are happy to send our property manager/maintenance out to make fixes and add anything to the property that seems to be missing. The lights and exhaust fans were working when we were there, as we always update out crews what needs attending to after our visits. I also know we had knives and measuring cups at our last stay and we just completed a property manager inventory list in the fall so the property should have been well equipped. The furniture is older, but very clean and we always are always comfortable there. We will certainly check out rug stains and replace necessary! We just rebuilt the deck in January and there were chairs there just a few weeks before your stay. We do believe the cleanliness, spaciousness, decor, and fair prices are huge positives. This property is not new and fancy but it is well maintained and you would pay 3x as much for properties on the south end of the island with brand new furnishings and such. Shana and Dave

Great location, love the bikes!

This property is a great location. Having the bikes available makes it a quick ride to the beach or village. The only issue was that the bonus room in the back smelled strongly of cigarettes. We were going to use it as another room for one of the kids to sleep in since there is a fold down bed, but could not because of the smell and the blinds weren’t completely opaque. All in all, a great property. Our party of 5 still had plenty of space. We also loved the outdoor picnic tables and fire pit as well as the pool. We loved not having to haul our bikes, beach chairs, and boogie boards!

kleinen Wohnanlage abseits der Straße

In einer kleinen Wohnanlage abseits der Straße sehr gut gelegen und auch gut zu finden. Das Haus ist für 2 Pärchen oder 3 Personen bestens geeignet. Im EG befindet sich das WC, Küche und Wohnraum, im OG das Badezimmer und ein Schlafzimmer mit 2 Betten und ein Schlafzimmer mit King Bett zum kuscheln. Alle benötigten Informationen kamen vom Vermieter pünktlich per Email. Die Einrichtung selber lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Haus macht wie die gesamte Anlage einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Die Terrasse und der Pool lädt zu verweilen ein und mit den guten Fahrrädern lässt sich die Umgebung einfach erkunden. Alles in allen ein großes Lob an den Vermieter
