Beyond impressive experience. The cabin is everything described, but beyond that the host was phenomenal. Over communicated and assured that if there was anything not to our liking they would have it rectified immediately. There were no issues. They thought if everything from some small snacks to plenty of firewood for the fire pit so we didn’t have to worry about finding or purchasing any. Overall this experience was a 10 out of 10.

Beautiful Cabin

We had the best time on our trip. This cabin has everything you could possibly need. The gate for the stairs and the items for our small toddler made our stay safe. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and beautiful place to stay. The view was gorgeous!

Perfect getaway with lots to do and great location

Family getaway in the mountains

We had a great stay at the cabin. Everything we needed was included with this property. We especially appreciated the handicap accessibility with ramps & shower chair for my mom to feel comfortable in her wheelchair. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great family spot to stay.

Awesome property

The house was exactly as stated and perfect for a large family. The handicapped ramps and showers were perfect for my brother. It is stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beds were the great and we will definitely be staying again when we come to the area. Highly recommend this property.

Checks almost all of the boxes!

This is a wonderful cabin that almost does it all. We stayed here 6 nights with our family of varying ages. Great for all ages with plenty of games, activities etc. We really liked the convenient location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg also. The parking is great too and much easier than many places we have stayed at. The only thing this cabin doesn't provide a 5/5 is the view. It's not a bad view and you can see some mountains but nothing spectacular.

Beautiful!

I had never used VRBO before but the process was so easy and the owners answered all our questions. The place was amazing! It was clean and organized with notes everywhere on how to use different features. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We loved the stay!

Everything was very clean and it was so spacious! They thought of everything, down to safety gates for the stairs! We loved the view and all of the amenities! A short drive to pigeon forge. The place was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Steve and Debbi were easy to communicate with. We will stay again!!

Always a pleasure

This is my second time staying at this property and my family always enjoys it. We love the house and the views but we really love all the games, fire pit, grills, wood, charcoal, kitchen items, and just everything that comes with it. It is just perfect!

Outstanding vacation home

The owners, Steve and Debbie, have a beautiful mountain vacation home where all you need is your toothbrush it comes so well equipped ! My grand children and their parents all loved it. lots to keep kids occupied and room for the adults to have their own space. Would highly recommend it and kudos to the owners for their communication and providing the small things you need in a house when you stay for a week.

The area around the cabin was very quiet which was great! The activities in the lower level were fun. The main floor was roomy for us to get the wheelchair around. Wonderful view

This property was exactly as described. It worked very well for 8 adults (1 in a wheel chair) and 5 children. Things that were most impressive were the communication with the owners and how well the cabin was stocked. K cups for coffee, lots of spices for cooking, plenty of charcoal and wood for the outdoor fire pit.

Smokie Mountain 30th Anniversary

Our anniversary trip was a great one. Beautiful cabin shared with our nephew. Other family members were not able to come, but we had a good time. We were close to all the activities in Pigeon Forge, TN we had planned to visit. Also spent a day in Townsend and Wears Valley, TN which we love. Enjoyed sitting on the deck viewing the mountains, I made a video every morning and shared back home for others to see! Thank You, Steve and Debbi for sharing your beautiful cabin.

Beautiful 5 Star Cabin

Mama Bear Cabin was beautiful, clean and perfect for our Smoky Mountain vacation. We loved the spectacular view from the deck! The kids enjoyed the game rooms, especially the pool table. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the firepit. The screened in porch was relaxing and the heaters kept us warm at night. The cabin had excellent amenities! Steve was very helpful and provided us with all information needed. We had a wonderful time!! We can't wait to return to your beautiful cabin!

The MaMa Bear Vacation

We had a great experience staying in this very nice cabin. There were nine of us in total parents, children and grandchildren ages from 2 to 63. This is by far the best cabin we have experienced in the Pigeon Forge area. The cabin is well built with attention to detail and all the amenities necessary for a great family vacation. The location is great and only a short distance from the center of activity. We definitely recommend this cabin to others and will be planning other trips to this property in the near future. Gracious Owners kept of informed of everything and we look forward to our next visit.

Mama Bear’s is amazing!

Mama Bear’s Retreat lives up to the prior reviews and description of the property. It is beautiful! It is so clean, well stocked and cozily spacious. The owners thought of everything needed! Great porches, mornings and evenings in the rocking chairs enjoying the views and the quiet. So much time spent in the large screened in porch with the hot tub, having meals, talking and playing games. Kids loved the Bunkie and many other provided games. Fire pit is amazing. Close, but not too close, to attractions and stores. We loved our stay and highly recommend this lovely retreat to others!
