Nice quiet community, very relaxing setting, loved the layout, kitchen and spacious open family area. Also like the proximity to the restaurant/bar/marina area. We will be booking again.
The house was very clean and much larger than it looks in the pictures! The beds are not the most comfortable, but we really enjoyed the stay. It’s very close to the beach and in walking distance to the marina bar and restaurant. Carla is super responsive and very nice! Overall it was a great stay! We were super happy with the location and are looking forward to staying there again in the future!
Perfect location and the owners were very easy to communicate and provided lots of information for the area. We had a wonderful time. Thanks for allowing us to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wade Inn. The property was clean and functional for our group of 4 adults and 5 teenagers. The kayaks and boat slip were great amenities. Carla was very helpful and timely in her replies to any of my questions.

This ended up being a perfect pandemic vacation. We loaded up the car and drove from Austin and only left the house to go visit the Sea Isle beach which was a 2 minute drive away and not crowded at all and a quick trip to the Sea Isle store for bait and ice cream. Otherwise we hung out at the house as we had everything we needed there. The fishing and crabbing was plentiful enough to keep my 2 boys entertained... although everything was too small to try to eat. We were all exhausted after each day of sun and fresh air at the beach and fishing at the house and so slept well. Hope to visit again even when the pandemic is over.

House needs good cleaning and maintenance. Master shower does not get hot. Dryer takes 3 cycles to dry
The garage was a mess had to walk around water bottles and beer cans
All that said we had a good time, enjoyed the fishing
We loved the house on the canal! Loved the brightness inside. It was clean, had what we needed.....Comfy couch/beds, good water pressure in the showers. Took advantage of the kayaks on several occasions! Kids played in the canal and had a fun time! There's no ladder, so it was a bit difficult to get back up on the decking.....But they managed! Neighborhood was quiet & peaceful! We enjoyed watching the mullet fish jump 3 or 4 times in a row across the canal. Saw some pretty big fish at night under the neighbor's green light in the water.
Drove down to the beach and watched the sun rise one morning. Was BEAUTIFUL! Would rent again!

Nice Getaway
First and foremost, Carla was very tentative and responded very quickly to the questions I had before we stayed at the house. The house is nice inside and out. The pics didn’t do justice for the property. We booked it initially cause of the price it was on Easter weekend. We had been looking for a couple weeks and were trying to narrow it down when we came across the “Wade inn”. I’m glad we chose this one, the kids enjoyed the tandem kayaks. There is two of them so that was a plus cause we had a 6 kids with us so sharing wasn’t an issue. The beach is just a 2 minute drive so it’s not far from the home at all. They have a bait store that closes at 9, and a marina store as well as the restaurant/bar. All of that is also about a 2 minute drive from the house. I would definitely stay here again.

we got to the rental with grandkids around 5pm, by around 10:00 what should have been a tropical storm turned into a hurricane. We spent the night moving furniture around to prevent water damage, 2 window blew out, used all the towels cleaning water inside. we cleaned glass and the outside from all the palms and other stuff on property, then we put the trash from the previous tenants. We realized power was not coming back around noon and started repacking everything we unpack 18 hours earlier and we left. Power was out for 2 weeks from what we understand. I still do not have a refund or a thanks for protecting and cleanings her property. Since no return of money the grandkids did not get a vacation this year. VRBO says the owner does not respond to them. I waited a month to write this hoping for something, now I am stuck hiring an attorney I guess
The house was as described online, accommodated my family of 6 easily. Kitchen was adequately stocked for the cooking we did. Boat slip was a little too small for our boat but we parked on the outside of the slip so it worked out.
We had a great time at this Sea Isle canal house. Carla was a great communicator and quick to respond. My kids loved fishing in the canal right from the edge of propery. There was even a sink outside downstairs where we could wash our hands after baiting our hooks. We also enjoyed using the kayaks that came with the property.
Had a great time! We took our daughter and grandkids here for spring break. Everything was so perfect! We loved kayaking and fishing on the canal. We caught a lot of crabs at the sea isle pier and had a crab boil! Host is very responsive and was so helpful throughout our stay.

Great location. Lock box difficult to open and air vents very dusty (during covid disturbing). But overall a great experience.
This was our first vacation post COVID-19. We had 10 people in our group. This home provided more than enough sleeping arrangements for all of us.
The owners have also provided everything you need as far as toiletries, linens, toys for the beach, fully stocked kitchen (except for groceries), and a washer and dryer!!
They have 2 kayaks that seat 2 people each, and you also get access to the community fishing pier. If your trip is rainy like ours they also are stocked up on family board games.
The neighborhood was great, there is a marina, bait shop, and restaurant right in the neighborhood. Beach access is across the main road which is only a few blocks away.
Only negative thing is the swimming pool. You are not allowed access to the neighborhood pool. Not really a big deal but we do like a swimming pool. Other than that I can't think of one bad thing to say about this wonderful property.
There was a bad storm the weekend we visited, but Carla helped accommodate. Fun house as well. Even though the beach was bad we still got to swim in the canal
