This was a wonderful place to stay in Menton. The views are absolutely stunning and the villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The gardens are also lovely - I may have missed this in the listing, but there are about 15 real tortoises in a corner of the garden which was amazing to stumble across. The host, Oliver, was great and incredibly thoughtful - even arranged lifts to/ from the train station when he found out we were travelling by train.

Fantastic vacation !

Very cozy house well suited for 2 or 4 people, located in a quiet residential area, with a beautiful garden and a fantastic view. House and garden in mint condition, and well equipped kitchen. Ca 1 km walk to the beach, but a tough climb coming back ! We truly enjoyed our 2 weeks there !

Menton

The house is lovely and the gardens beautifully maintained. A paradise for any garden loving travellers. Olivier was kind and welcoming and always on hand if needed. Clean, very comfortable and wonderfully equipped I would recommend staying at Olivier's house in Menton to anyone. Great stay!

Nice and neat

The house was really nice and neat with a large garden and two terraces, both with a fantastic view. The access is via a short walking path, i.e. plan accordingly. We had a fantastic stay, enjoying the surroundings, Menton and the region.

Beautiful house in a park

Very nice location with exceptional beautiful garden, lovingly maintained. House with everything you need and incredible view / panorama. And not to forget: Olivier is a perfect host, attentive and helpful. There are many reasons to come back. It is on our personal bucket list.

Beautiful quiet villa

We absolutely loved our stay in this outstanding villa with amazing views over Menton. It was so lovely and quiet, a bit off the beaten path with no direct road access to the villa but well worth the short walk down the cobble path and through the beautiful gardens. The garage on the main road for parking the car was a definite bonus. It was wonderfully clean with all we needed for a fabulous relaxing stay. The beds where very comfortable and the host was extremely helpful from helping to carry our bags to making sure we had all we needed for a perfect relaxing holiday. Thank you for everything. We look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful relaxing gardens with incredible panoramic sea views

Had a wonderful relaxing week in this gorgeous villa surrounded by lemon trees. The location was definitely worth the challenging hike back up from Menton. The views were outstanding during the day and also at night where we were lucky enough to watch the Cap Martin fireworks on Saturday night. Menton is a very friendly town with clean beaches, crystal sea and good restaurants. It is also very handy for the scenic train which runs all along the Cote D’Azur. We visited Monaco, Nice and Cannes. Olivier was an excellent generous host who made us feel very welcome and went out of his way to make our stay special.

The villa is lovely with a great view of Menton. The gardens are well maintained and lovely to walk through. The host Olivier was helpful and very welcoming. We had a minor issue with the electrics which was sorted out within a day. Our teenage son did miss not having a strong WiFi signal but ok if you’re not bothered about that. The walk to town and back wasn’t too bad once you got used to it and it’s worth it for the view which is spectacular!

Il est vrai que comme je vous le disais , la villa est réserver au adultes et pas vraiment opérationnels pour deux jeunes enfants qui sont sur tablettes et portables une grande partie de la journée. Incredible view, a perfect property, immaculately landscaped. The owners make no secret of the distance you have to walk down the path from the garage, and the long walk to the village. I'd like to give it 10 out of 10 but have to give it a "9" and warn you: if you're staying longer than a week, bring extra toilet paper (they provided us with one roll at first), and paper towels, and garbage bags.But the hosts were fantastic, helped carry luggage down and up that long rocky path, were as friendly as they could be. French and English spoken.

Wir hatten leider vor der Anreise Probleme mit dem Vermieter, der kurz vor der Hinreise forderte, 600 Kaution in bar mitzubringen. Da uns das unseriös vorkam - wir buchen seit vielen Jahren Objekte über Fewo Direkt - fragten wir bei Fewo Direkt nach mit dem Ergebnis, dass die Forderung unzulässig sei, wir auf keinen Fall zahlen sollten, weil die Kaution über die Kreditkarte abgesichert ist. Es folgte unschöne Kommunikation mit dem uneinsichtigen Vermieter. Wir mussten bis zum Tag vor unserer Abreise mit Fewo Direkt und dem Vermieter kommunizieren, den Rücktritt von der Reise androhen, bis er meinte, es habe sich um ein Missverständnis gehandelt. Das war ein schlechter Start.Vor Ort war die Unterkunft schön, der Blick ein Traum, die Küche bestens ausgestattet, die Polster für die Außenmöbel allerdings schmutzig und verschlissen, der Sonnenschirm auf der oberen Terasse zerrissen, nicht nutzbar, es gab oben keine Loungemöbel, anders als auf den Fotos in der Anzeige suggeriert. Im Bad gab es einen Fön, aber keine Steckdose zum Anschließen, auch keine andere Stelle im Haus mit einem Spiegel. Wir bekamen dann ein Verlängerungskabel. Auf der unteren Terrasse war die Liegefläche der Sonnenliege gebrochen.Das beschriebene Highspeed WLAN ging immer an und aus, was wirklich sehr unerfreulich war. Es würde auch nicht viel kosten, für den total verrosteten Wäscheständer einen neuen zu kaufen. Für diese Mängel hätte man zumindest die 80 für die Endreinigung erlassen können.

Wir haben 2 Wochen in der kleinen Villa von Olivier verbracht und es war einfach nur traumhaft. Olivier ist ein wunderbarer, aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Er war immer kurzfristig erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen gern geholfen.Die Unterkunft und vor allem der Ausblick sind grandios und lassen keine Wünsche offen.Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und kommen ganz sicher wieder.
