The best apartment we have ever rented in Spain. Absolutely huge with everything you could wish for. Very large balcony for long lunches, with a super view of the beautiful gardens and pool. Every amenity for a family holiday including full outdoor laundry balcony, beach umbrellas and chairs- even table tennis bats, body boards and inflatables!Kitchen was superb and even the knives were really sharp (pet peeve). The walk to and from the beach was the only thing we were apprehensive about prior to arrival but really wasn’t a problem- 15 minute amble. Check in was great- met by Marta who was lovely and lives in the building if you need anything- which you won’t.

We really enjoyed the pool, which was well maintained and especially appreciated the shade areas around it. The appartment is a 15 min downhill walk from the beach (20 min back, uphill!), but you can easily take the car and park closer. The appartment is well equipped and there are also beach umbrellas. Wifi worked well!Calella de Palafrugell is very lively and has a lot of nice restaurants. We recommend visting the Roig botanical garden. The beaches are nice but rather small like most beach on the costa brava. We liked the small platja del golfet on the foothill of the Cap Roig.

Great find

Spacious apartment, set in great scenery. All the pics show exactly how it is. Got a bit hot sometimes, fans were a welcome addition. Caretakers are very friendly and very helpfull. Less than a stonethrow away but never in your face, excellent. Many regular residents, makes for a great vibe. Easy front door parking in a quiet area. Ten minute walk from beach and town (for shopping a five min drive in another direction), in flip flops. Getting back takes a bit longer, being dozy and fighting gravity and that. Beaches are small but very nice. No beds, waterbikes and beachclubs competing for customers but lots of nice restaurants a few steps from the sand. First time in years sharing a pool, but that was no problem at all. Accessible 24/7 (mind your noice ofcourse), good size, nice water, nicely kept all around. Might very well end up here again next year.

Scheint sehr beliebt in Spanien.
