The House of the Ocean is one of the few houses in Finistère to be built in such proximity to water. Fully renovated 6 years ago, it offers all the comforts for a great holiday. Enjoy the view of the off every room in the house.
The Villa Ocean consists of a fitted kitchen open to the dining room, large living room, 3 bedrooms, a loft with spectacular sea view from the bed, a bathroom with Italian shower, a large pantry, toilet.
Everything has been designed so that you do not miss anything during your stay.
After a nice day, you can relax in the hot tub heated to 37 ° C located on the terrace.
From the house you will feel like on a ship, soothed by the sound of waves, facing the landscape in constant motion ... Nothing like to spend a beautiful holiday.

Beautiful views to calm the soul

What can I say the views and outlook of this property are just amazing. Spending each night listening to the crashing waves outside would help the most stressed soul find its peace. The property is beautifully located on the coastline, with many coastal walks surrounding it. It feels like you are remote enough to find peace, yet near enough to local amenities to keep the fresh bread fully stocked up. The hot tub bubbling away whist we watched the sun set was just perfect. Lovely house, beautiful location and great stay.

Best terrace on the Nirth Atlantic

While the house was clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated and obviously a well-renovated quaint older substance building…..NOTHING can top the terrace facing the ocean in the back of the house. With the location of the house at the end of the street and well-situated screens/walls the deck is completely private, right on the edge of the ocean above granite boulders, so when the tide comes in you can hear the waves breaking…nothing says vacation more than soaking in the hot tub to that sound! The stairs to the upper bedroom are a bit tight but the view (and sound) outstanding. The other two bedrooms are directly off the kitchen with windows at road level to the front. With next to no traffic and the (electric) blinds down, you barely noticed. The house has central heating for cool nights which is easy to use. Coming in through the mud/laundry room helped keep the sand out of the rest of the house. House is great for a family. With only one bath and very little put-away space (one hanging rack) I’m not sure about sharing with multiple couples. Check-in and out was super easy and uncomplicated. Definitely on the top of our “come back to” list

Un mois dans cette magnifique région et dans cette charmante maison qui occupe un emplacemment rare. Le terme " pieds dans l'eau" ne peut pas mieux la qualifier.La terrasse vous donne l'impression d'être à la proue d'un bateau à contempler le spectacle des marrées. Une situation exceptionnelle

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours dans cette maison de vacances en juillet 2023. La vue de la terrasse est à couper le souffle. On se croirait sur le pont d'un bateau. On ne se lasse pas d'admirer les vagues qui viennent s'écraser sur les rochers et le ciel toujours changeant. Nous avons eu des couchers de soleil magnifiques. Pouvoir manger sur cette terrasse avec la mer à nos pieds est vraiment un rêve. La maison est fonctionnelle, agréable, bien décorée et bien équipée. On peut y séjourner à 4 adultes et 2 enfants (les 2 lits simples sont un peu petits pour des adultes) La communication avec Maud s'est très bien passée, elle est sympathique, réactive et très arrangeante. Nous avons loué des vélos à côté pour nous déplacer jusqu'au centre du village (accessible par une route champêtre en une douzaine de minutes). Et bien sûr, la cerise sur le gâteau, est le jacuzzi très agréable quand le temps se rafraichit le soir. Je recommande cette location car elle est exceptionnelle et il y a mille choses à découvrir aux alentours.

Great Plouescat stay

we spent a week at this beach house and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The house is well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It was a convenient base to travel around Brittany. Maud was easy to get in touch with and responsive, she met us at the house at the beginning of our stay to show us around and outline how to use various appliances. Several good restaurants in walking distance to the house. If we travel to Brittany again, we will stay at this property.

Belle maison, dommage.......

Très bel emplacement pour cette maison qui a en effet une vue et une situation imprenable. Dommage que l'hôte fasse payer une poignée de réfrigérateur 100€, qui a cédé suite à un usage tout à fait normal et dont l'usure n'est pas de notre fait en restant une semaine sur place. Dommage aussi que l'habillage du jacuzzi soit rouillé, risques pour enfants en bas âges (nous aurions aussi pu demander un dédommagement...). L'un des boutons du sèche linge était manquant .... La propreté de la maison était globalement satisfaisante mise à part les plaids qui auraient mérité d'être nettoyés. Pour une location à ce prix, prélever une somme via abritel sans même fournir une facture de la réparation, le geste manque de tact. Un conseil, prenez des photos si vous voyez quelque chose qui ne va pas. Vous aurez des preuves en cas de litige.

La maison fait face à la mer. L'emplacement est idéal. La maison est décorée avec goût. La cuisine est bien équipée. Le wifi marche très bien et c'est vraiment à souligner. Evidemment le jaccuzzi est la très belle cerise sur le gâteau. La propriétaire est accueillante et très réactive. Je recommande.

Liebe Maud, wir haben den 14tägigen Urlaub in ihrem Haus sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Seit nunmehr 20 Jahren fahren wir nach Frankreich in Urlaub und davon 17 Jahre in die Bretagne. Wir hatten wunderschöne Häuser, dass ihre ist jedoch unvergleichlich. Séjour très agréable dans une maison très bien placée, pieds dans l eau.

Prendre un jaccusi face aux vagues même avec une météo déficiente est un vrai plaisir. La maison est agréable et bien conçue. Propriétaire à l écoute très agréable.
