A garden surrounding the house of over 3 hectares to enjoy the sun, and a roomy interior and welcoming with a large living / dining room of 45m2 with fireplace to snuggle without stepping on toes.
 
No need to move to relax: the exceptional view and completely clear of the Gulf and the islands will certainly surprise you with its daily change of rising and falling tides. A large plot not overlooked, private pool of 16m long with views of the Gulf, a coastal hiking trail in direct access, tranquility and birds for company.
And if you want to see the world, the scenery or more sports activities, a short drive from enough: sandy beach and golf course 10 minutes - Port Crouesty 12 minutes - Sarzeau and shops 5 minutes - the islands (ile aux Moines, ile d'Arz, Houat, Hoedic and Belle-ile) shuttle from Port Navalo to 17 minutes.

We got a warm welcome by the local representative who showed us the spacious manison, the garden, and the pool. All as advertised, but there are things you cannot put into a web page: great peaceful atmosphere; great view of the sea; and a tree to sit under and spend an afternoon with nothing else to do but enjoy your time at this magnificent place. The kids loved the garden, the walk along the sea shore and ... the pool. The owners are very helpful and considerate. Thank you so much from both of our families. Would we come again? YES!

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans la maison. Chambre spacieuse, cuisine équipée, grande table. La piscine est immense et chauffée. Le jardin est incroyable et au bout de celui-ci, un petit portillon qui vous amène sur les sentiers côtiers. La vue est magnifique, on la quitte avec tristesse. On remercie chaleureusement Françoise de la conciergerie qui a été aux petits soins pour nous.

Une maison de famille dans un site magnifique

Temps de repos, piscine, quelques visites, promenades, route des huîtres, jeux sur le grand terrain devant la maison, jeux de société. Nos enfants ont pratiqué la voile, le golf et la course à pieds sur le GR qui passe au pied du terrain. Génial !

Wir haben uns in Gradavad sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten leider bis auf einen Tag Regenwetter, jedoch war das Haus warm und so großzügig ausgestattet, dass wir (10 Erwachsene und 1 Kind )mit lesen, Kartenspielen,im home-office arbeiten, kochen... eine angenehme Zeit verbringen konnten. Das Kind hat sich auch über die vielen Spielsachen gefreut. Durch die ausreichende Menge an Badezimmern konnte auch dort jeder seiner Entspannung nachgehen. Nur die Sofas im Wohnbereich sind schon etwas abgewohnt.

Private location with splendid views

Our family spent two wonderful weeks at Gradavad. Coming from Belgium and the United States with a large group, we sought accommodations that not only provided various sleeping arrangements, but a superb location. Gradavad fit that bill. Our days were spent cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, eating on the outdoor terrace or, during inclement weather, in the large dining room, swimming laps in the pool, hiking the nearby trails, biking to various food markets, picking blackberries, and playing board games. We also felt perfectly happy simply enjoying the ever changing water views through the huge windows. The furniture was comfortable, the beds were soft, the closet space ample, the shower pressure great, the cooking gear extensive. Even though the home is old , it is well maintained and full of charm. Gradavad is definitely a “family” home and has lots of dishes to accommodate large group dinners. We had an issue with the dishwasher not working properly, but Perrine and the concierge worked quickly to get it resolved. As an active family with members aged 9-77, Gradavad offered something for everyone. We cannot wait to sojourn there again! Sofia D. Westport, USA

Un lieu de rêve pour des retrouvailles entre amis ou en famille

Une vue sur le golfe aux couleurs changeantes qui ne cesse de vous surprendre et jamais ne vous lasse, des baignades à la piscine pour se rafraîchir après une bonne balade sur le chemin au pied du terrain avec accès direct au golfe, des chambres spacieuses, une cuisine conviviale permettant de s’y retrouver nombreux et partager le plaisir de cuisiner ensemble, une terrasse équipée pour tous se retrouver pour les repas et autres moments de complicité, un vaste terrain où les jeux des uns n'empêchent pas aux autres de se prélasser sur les transats.... Bref, un endroit magique où tout le monde, petits et grands, y trouve son compte sans être dérangé. Nous sommes désormais des habitués et comptons le rester !

Gradavad ist ein einmaliger Ort. Ein grosses Haus, in dem jeder Winkel Geschichten erzählt. Ein Ausblick, an dem man sich nicht sattsehen kann. Das grosse Anwesen lädt zu abenteuerlichen Erkundigungsspaziergängen ein, für Kinder ein Paradies. Das Haus ist grosszügig, so dass sich auch eine grosse Gruppe wohl fühlt. Wer sich zurückziehen möchte, findet eine ruhige Ecke. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und macht grosse Lust, die Delikatessen vom Markt zu verarbeiten. Es gibt sehr grosszügige Schlafzimmer und kleinere Zimmer für Kinder, alle mit bequemen Betten. Der nahegelegene Ort Sarzeau ist hübsch und lebhaft. Sie finden beste Lebensmittel in den Bäckereien, beim Metzger oder beimFischhändler, frisches Gemüse und reife Früchte auf den Wochenmärkten sowie nette Boutiquen für die Damen. Die Region Morbihan bietet viel, auf Wasser wie an Land. Zwei Wochen reichen kaum aus, all die interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region zu besuchen. Wir empfehlen Gradavad Leuten, die das Ambiente eines geschichtsträchtigen Hauses lieben. Ruhesuchende und Naturverbundene , aber auch Geschichts- und Kulturinteressierte werden sich hier wohl fühlen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und grosszügig, überlassen Sie ihren Gästen doch ein wohnbereites Haus mit Bibliotheken, Gesellschaftsspielen, Kinderspielsachen etc.

A wonderful, historic house with spectacular views of the Golfe du Morbihan.

Our whole family stayed in this beautiful, historic house to celebrate our mother's birthday and had a wonderful week, swimming in the pool, exploring the surroundings and sailing in the Golfe du Morbihan. We particularly enjoyed the extensive garden and woodlands and would love to come back!
