Blue Sea Bungalow (near Roche Harbor) is a great place to make some San Juan memories! This cozy home was built in 2015 and is comfortably furnished with a nautical/beach motif throughout.
The kitchen and dining room provide enough space for everyone to gather comfortably around the table or prepare meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of dishes, cookware, and spices.
The downstairs Primary Suite has a Queen-sized bed and is connected to a continental bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is upstairs with a view of Westcott Bay and a full-sized bed with a Memory Foam mattress. The 3/4 bathroom is upstairs as well.
The living room's comfortable futon couch converts into a bed. Enjoy an evening movie on the new 40" TV in the living room with access to Netflix and other streaming services.
Blue Sea Bungalow offers a large yard full of fun as well! Fire up the BBQ, pull up a chair and relax around the firepit (seasonally permitted and firewood is not provided). Enjoy a game of horseshoes, “corn hole”, or croquet in the back yard. This open space and rural setting are perfect for star gazing while sitting with friends around the seasonal campfire.
The Westcott Bay Oyster Farm is just at the end of the neighborhood. A connector trail to English Camp and Mount Young is also at the end of the street near the farm and lagoon. There is a nice trail on Bell Point (in the National Park) that can lead you to public water access.
It's a short 1.5 miles to Roche Harbor, where you can rent kayaks, SUP's, etc. and check out the beautiful garden and historical sights.
This home is not suitable for parties or excessively loud groups. Due to the large lawn and proximity to the water, sound carries easily through this neighborhood.

My adult daughter and I came here for a father daughter getaway. It was an ideal like little cottage and suited us perfectly. We saw several fox and deer in the yard in the evenings. The furnishings were nice and everything we needed was in the in the house. The only negative is that even though the temperatures were in the 70s, the upstairs room was in the 80s until late in the evening.Though it’s on the north end of the island, it is still close to everything. Our longest drive to get somewhere on the island was 20+ minutes.I would definitely stay here again.
We were very happy with the clean accomodations and loved the coastal decor! The location was great, 6 min to Roche Harbor and 20 to everything else! Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. q
Lovely cottage that was very easy to access and worked well for myself and elderly parents. The property had all the amenities we needed and was clean and cozy. Communication with the property managers was also quick and helpful. We had a great visit!
Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was great with a beautiful yard and neighborhood. We walked local trails and down to the oyster restaurant, enjoyed the yard games and fire pit, and had everything we needed to cook meals at the house. We will definitely stay here again!

This place was adorable and great for our honeymoon! We bought food to cook there since we were staying a week, and they had all the dishes necessary to cook! We used the grill for steaks one night, and were able to wash out cloths which was great! The managers provided us a cute card, cookies, and a pan to cook a turkey since we stayed the week of thanksgiving! It was very kind and appreciated. HIGHLY recommend!

We are honored you chose to spend your honeymoon and thanksgiving with us here on San Juan Island!
We have been coming to San Juan Islands since 2015. We love it here and we loved this house. It was very clean and has everything needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Our group of four was joining another couple on a boat in Roche Harbor, this was an easy commute to Roche and was a perfect place to stay. Loved seeing all the wildlife! So many birds, deer, and even a fox!
It was away from both towns, we were able to hike from our house to English Camp. The beach just across the street was perfect. It was a quiet, secluded spot.
A perfect getaway for a last minute trip to San Juan. Able to take the paddle boards out from the house and explore Westcott Bay. Loved all the wildlife...foxes and deer in the yard on a daily basis.
This cute home was an amazing get away for our family. It is cozy and well stocked. We loved sitting outside and were visited by deer and foxes each day. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to walk to local trails that went all the way to the ocean. The bed were very comfortable and we had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. We would love to come back!
Such a cute place nestled in a little neighborhood on the north side of the island. We picked up oysters, clams, & mussels from the Westcott bay shellfish co. at the end of the street, amazing!! The island is not huge so we were able to see a lot in just a few days. Amazing views of the ocean, beautiful hiking trails, and on our last morning we saw a rare black fox, 2 bald eagles, & topped it off with the most vibrant rainbow over the water while waiting for the ferry!! 100% recommend!!
The house is clean but a little dated, the outlsde lawn and upkeep of the yard is terrible, Weeds everywhere, plants in planter dead, laws was just a bunch dead grass and weeds.. Nothing like the picture on the listing. It is prime season so no excuse not to proivde some yard service as that is the main draw of property

While we appreciate you taking the time to provide some feedback about your stay, it should be noted that August is the warmest month on San Juan Island and the grass everywhere tends to turn a bit brown due to water conservation. This home does receive regular lawn care. We’re sorry the yard brought down your overall experience at this lovely vacation home.
