Awesome place

This was our second stay, once in Winter, now in Summer. The house is as cosy a home as possible. The hosts are very welcoming and totally helpful. We look forward to visit again.

A Home Away from Home

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home! It was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described—if not better. The kitchen was well-equipped, the outdoor space was peaceful, and the hosts were kind, responsive, and helpful. One of the best stays we’ve ever had—we’d love to come back!

A hidden gem

Located an hour's drive from Bergen this house is next to a fjord. Even when the weather is bad the large windows create a cosy atmosphere. The host is perfect.

Well equipped and clean cottage with beautiful views

Very nice, well equipped and clean cottage with beautiful views on the fjord. Reactive and nice owner. Everything was perfect. Ideal place to spend family holidays in nature. Nice walks not far from the cottage. Fireplace is very cosy during winter time. Easily accessible from Bergen and Bergen airport.

Very nice and tastefully house

Great house, very nice layout, fully equipped, very very clean, tastefully furnished. The view is fantastic. We were welcomed by the very nice owner, the fireplace was already burning. There was even a Christmas tree. Only the bedrooms are quite chilly in winter, but that didn't bother us. We had a marvellous week!

Beautiful place with extraordinary views

The photos do not do it justice. The house is beautiful, the views incredible! The house has everything you could possibly need. Peaceful place 1 hour from Bergen. Elin could not have been a better host. No doubt at all we will be back if we should decide to visit Norway again.

Fantastic house with breathtaking views

The house is a real gem, it is very spacious, clean, tastefully furnished und fully equipped. It has lots of space outside, too, and a perfect view on the fjord. Ideal for a relaxed vacation as you can sunbathe on the terrace, take a swim, walk or rent a boat from the hosts. A supermarket and a restaurant at the shore are nearby. Elin and her husband were most helpful, easy to contact and friendly. All in all, we had a great week in Strandvik. Strongly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at Elin’s beautiful home. The property is extremely comfortable and has exceptional views. We were extremely fortunate to spot a pod of orca on the first day (although after speaking to friendly locals, apparently this is rare). Spotting porpoises from the property was a daily highlight though. There is much to see in the area surrounding the property (within an hours drive). Do your research first though, so you’re armed with a wish-list of places to see. We would definitely love to return. It’s been a holiday of a lifetime.

Wunderschönes Haus in Traumlage, große Fensterfront mit Blick auf den Fjord. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Alles da, was man braucht. Schön eingerichtet. Auch bei Regentagen sitzt man gerne in den gemütlichen Sesseln und schaut einfach auf das Wasser und die Berge. Großer Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und ein Restaurant (Wir fanden es gut). Wir waren 2 x mal vor Ort wandern (WanderApp ist hilfreich). Bergen ist nicht weit und einen Ausflug zum Hardangerfjord lohnt auch auf jeden Fall. Der Kontakt mit Elin war unkompliziert und sehr nett. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Einfach fantastisch – besser geht es kaum!Wir waren drei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und sind noch immer begeistert. Da wir schon sehr oft in Norwegen waren und viele Ferienhäuser kennen, können wir wirklich sagen: So ein tolles Ferienhaus hatten wir bisher noch nie!Das Haus ist nicht nur wunderschön gelegen, sondern auch blitzblank sauber und hervorragend ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts – alles ist mit viel Liebe und durchdacht eingerichtet. Die fantastische Aussicht auf den Fjord und die norwegische Landschaft ist einfach traumhaft. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war das man mit dem Boot , direkt auf dem Fjord angeln konnte. Wir hatten einige schöne Angeltouren und konnten tatsächlich mehrmals unseren fangfrischen Fisch direkt genießen – frischer und norwegischer geht es wohl kaum! Insgesamt hatten wir 7 Sorten Fisch. Der größte war ein Leng mit 81cm und 2,56 kg.Auch der Check-in und Check-out waren völlig unkompliziert und easy. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett, herzlich und jederzeit erreichbar, wenn man eine Frage hat. Man merkt sofort, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt.Wir haben uns hier von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute rundum wohlgefühlt und hätten am liebsten noch länger bleiben können. Eine absolute 5-Sterne-Empfehlung von uns! Wer ein besonderes Ferienhaus in Norwegen mit traumhafter Aussicht, Angeltouren und fantastischen Vermietern sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Haus war sehr sauber und bestens gepflegt. Besonders begeistert hat uns der traumhafte Ausblick auf den Jachthafen und den Fjord.Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Elin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt haben.Wir können dieses Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen. Check-in und Check-out liefen völlig problemlos, trotz das wir nur Deutsch sprechen. Das Ferienhaus liegt in Top Lage und der Ausblick wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Wir hatten das erste Mal kein Heimweh im Urlaub und das mit über 60 Lebensjahren. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.

Geweldig verblijf. Prachtige locatie, dicht bij mooie wandelgebieden. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De communicatie met de verhuurder verliep heel soepel.
