Perfect for your next family reunion, couples retreat or special event, our recently renovated chalet can accommodate up to 10 people and features a full kitchen, 2 full baths, 4 bedrooms with queen size beds and pull out sofa, updated with modern fixtures and furniture.

THE SPACE
Start your day with a locally sourced brew from the coffee pot or visit the café across the road. With sunlight streaming through the windows, set your day’s agenda from hitting the slopes, to hiking or relaxing at the spa. The chalet is equipped with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and queen sleeper sofa in the living area accommodates up to 2 additional guests.

Great place for family vacation

The place is amazing . Close to the lake and only 7 mins away from the blue mountain resort. Our kids loved this place, and looking forward to come back sometime in the future.

From the time of booking, the communication was fantastic. The chalet layout was open concept between kitchen and living area yet private bedrooms with plenty of room for a large group. Plenty of parking space for multiple vehicles.The private outdoor space was perfect with a bbq and fire pit which we enjoyed immensely.Beach close by and only a couple minute drive to Main Street Collingwood or of course the blue mountain village. Overall 5 star stay and would definitely return.

Girls getaway

This location was perfect for a 3 night getaway. A rather big group -11 ladies, slept comfortably in this cabin and never felt too crammed. Close access to the beach, although small (maybe because of high water levels) was great and used every day. Very short drive to the village - about 5 mins was perfect for nights out as well as the Scandinavian spa also about 5 mins. Very clean, Dan was very accommodating and easy to contact throughout our stay as well. My only complaint would be some key items missing in the kitchen ie: extra baking sheets, garbage bags and tin foil but not that big of an issue as there is a Walmart about 10 minutes from the property. Over all 10/10 stay would definitely return.

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay here ! Loved the location in between Blue Mountain and Collingwood. The beach was beautiful as well. One downside, the bean bags for cornhole were broken and there were some half empty bottles/cans left outside from previous guests.

Family gathering

Cabin is very nice, the pictures of the inside are very accurate. What is missing is pictures of the outside which made me nervous. It is right of the highway with a grass space, one of the bedrooms is also off that side. So if you are a light sleeper, you can hear traffic noise. It did not really bother my group. You do have a private backyard space with a patio and firepit. It is actually really nice and I suggest they add pictures of this space for people to see. There is also a small beach people can access. When they say "steps" it is about a 2 minute walk with children. But a easy walk and the beach space is very nice. Sandy bottom, sandy beach, and shallow, so perfect for families.

Amazing accommodations

Stayed here during the civic long weekend. It was a great experience. The places was quite roomy with 6 people staying. The kitchen is excellent and fully stocked with supplies, the backyard was perfect at night for having a bonfire. Would stay here again!

It was super close to the beach. The place we stayed was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Parking lot was also convenient. It was also very close to the blue mountain resort. Management was friendly and was very easy to reach.

We'll be back!!

This was everything it was shown to be on its website!! Our family of 5, including 3 grown sons, my husband and I were so impressed with the accommodations! It was spotlessly clean!! It took us a while to figure out how to get more than one channel on the tv . . . . . but one of our sons finally figured it out! Having the washer/dryer with soap and dryer sheets provided was incredibly helpful. Ditto with the dishwasher! We washed our towels nightly, so had fresh towels/face cloths each morning . . . . . and we all went home with freshly laundered clothes!! Only one of the bedrooms had a closet with hangers for clothing, but this was not a big issue for us . . . . we shared. Loved the huge deck outdoors and the small, but pleasant private beach. More than enough dishware was provided. The dishwasher with soap provided was so appreciated!! Close to downtown Collingwood, only a half hour's drive to Wasaga Beach, and only 15 minutes to Blue Mountain Village . . . . . it is perfectly situated. Virtual host was quickly accessible and very friendly! We only recommend that blinds or curtains be installed on the windows of the living room area. This was the only room/windows that did not have coverings. Beds were comfortable, and having two full bathrooms was a real luxury. Decor and furnishings very pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely be back!!

The vision behind the Lake at Blue Mountains is focused around a repeatable, great experience, bringing together some of the best local professionals that Blue Mountains has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Back in April 2018, we drove past the Moore's Mountain Lodge which was a staple roadside motel in Blue Mountains for 50+ years and it was FOR SALE! We asked "what if we reimagined this 1-acre property into a modern, flexible experience and celebrated the rustic nature of the space?" We also couldn't believe how close this place was to everything! It's only 4 minutes to the village, 3 minutes to the Scandinave spa and 7 minutes from Collingwood. Better yet, it was only a 2-minute walk to a private beach!!! We thought "why can't we celebrate the history and beauty of Georgian Bay?" did it! We bought the place and transformed the traditional motel rooms into Boutique Suites which have a clean Beach House vibe. We turned the old Motel Keepers quarters into a rustic chalet and the rest is history... We've put a ton of energy into this project and we'd be honored to invite you to experience what we've created!

While the Lake at Blue Mountains looks like a motel, it operates digitally like a local Airbnb and has the capability to rent out and cater like a full resort for individuals and businesses!
