Newly Renovated Dreamy Boho With Bay View

My studio is ALWAYS a smoke-free unit—-PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TO BOOK IF YOU SMOKE! Smoking outside is not an acceptable compromise--clothing and other belongings still leave the unit smelling of cigarette smoke.
This unit is a second floor unit—-requires climbing about 24 stairs with a small landing halfway up.

No weather-related refunds provided unless officials suggest/mandate evacuation.

Just 30-45 minutes is spent cleaning the average hotel room. I ALWAYS personally clean all my units and spend 3-4 hours minimum EVERY TIME cleaning and preparing each studio for my guests.

You can feel safe and secure, knowing my standards are extremely high.

I love my studios and I love taking care of my guests!

I reserve the right to prohibit any pet. The condo complex HOA By-Laws limit pets in the studios to one small dog (>20lbs). I further restrict the one small dog to non-shedding breeds (for cleaning and allergen purposes) and the pet must be crated when left alone. I prohibit any pet for business or student travelers—too much alone time for the doggie in a confined and strange location. Furthermore, guests who meet the above pet requirements must be willing to sign a separate Pet Agreement before the booking is finalized.

While I do offer generous discounts for extended stays--including months' long--please note, they are still priced by the day. I do not offer leases or have a "monthly rate."

Conveniently located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, 1/2 mile south of I-10, these gems are the perfect location for a commute to Mobile, Pensacola, or anywhere in the Baldwin County area. Daphne is sister city to Fairhope, AL (6 miles)---consistently ranked among the top small towns in America and most recently named by Coastal Living as 5th Happiest Seaside Town in America!! About an hour's drive to Gulf Shores, this studio packs a lot of amenities into a small space. Perfect alternative to cookie-cutter hotel rooms, I have hosted many happy vacationers, professionals and workers on temporary assignments, students and new residents on house-hunting expeditions. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at, and I can’t say enough about how easy it was to communicate. Felicia answered any questions right away, and was very eager to be sure everything was comfortable. I could live there, I think! ( if I got rid of 3 storage units of furniture! Haha) but this apartment has everything you need to be comfortable… the induction stovetop was interesting (I am not familiar with cooking on one) but I used the convection oven for most things anyway. So I was happy. There was a community laundry just steps away, so that was handy. It is a pleasant community and the view from the back porch is beautiful … sunsets were awesome. I will definitely stay here again!

A Week in Daphne

Unit was very clean, functional; and quiet. Kitchen and bath was very modern. Great water pressure Bed was very comfortable. Drop down desk in front of TV was good for computer work or processing photos. Washer and dryer was steps away. No complaints except that it was a second floor unit however I did know that when making reservations. I would stay again but down stairs.

We were looking for a place to get away for a few nights near Mobile and I found this apartment. The apartment was small but prefect for one or two people. The appliances were new and the apartment has been recently given a facelift. There are excellent restaurants within a few miles and it is very close to the Mobile downtown area. We absolutely fell in love with the rental and the entire area, Can't wait to get back for another stay when we need solitude and peace and quiet. I did not have to opportunity to meet our hostess but when we had questions she answered almost immediately. If there were anything I could say that is not a rave about this place is the TV could be a little larger. My old eyes have a bit of difficulty from across the room. That is but a gnat bite compared to the overall feel of having a place that feels like a second home.

Great Getaway Spot

Felicia's place is in great condition, beautifully decorated, complete with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. In spite of it being located in a very large apartment/condo complex, it was quiet and the view from the balcony was so peaceful. I really only have one caution. I know everyone has their personal preference as far as mattresses go, but if you have old bones like me that require a bit of softness in order to sleep, this mattress will not meet your need. Just a heads up... But if a firm mattress is your preference, this cozy space should serve you perfectly!

I love Baldwin County and the Eastern Shore. I have lived in this area all my life. My hobby and obsession is interior design. Nutrition and fitness are also lifelong passions. I have been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for over 25 years. My first career was as a Certified Public Accountant, but I retired from that years ago to be with my kids. I homeschooled all 5 of my children. Now all but the youngest are grown and married. I have 4 grandchildren and I love being involved in their lives as much as possible.

Why they chose this property

This is a great property. I own four studios in this unique bay-front complex. Taking care of my little units is almost an obsession--I do all the cleaning and take great pride in keeping the rentals in like-new condition for every guest! I only live 2 miles down the street and can quickly assist you in any way during your stay.
