The Space:

Windsock Kas di Bientu is a fully single-level apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, set within the Windsock Beach Apartments complex in Belnem.



The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The two bathrooms make it convenient when traveling with multiple people. The bright living room connects directly to the terrace and the shared tropical garden. The open kitchen with island adjoins the living room and terrace and is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, ice maker, and kettle.

Good to know:

- No A/C in the living room: The bedrooms do have air conditioning, and with open doors and a breeze the living area still feels comfortable.

- No dryer: There is no tumble dryer, but thanks to Bonaire's sun and wind your laundry usually dries quickly on a rack.

- Shared garden and outdoor space: The tropical garden and pool are shared with other guests, creating a relaxed and sociable atmosphere in the complex.



Guest Access:

As a guest of Windsock Kas di Bientu you have access to the entire apartment, including the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room, and the open kitchen with island. You can also use the terrace, the shared tropical garden, and the shared pool within the Windsock Beach Apartments complex. Parking on the premises is available. To warmly welcome our guests and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we handle all arrivals in person. The Sunwise hosts of the property will arrange your check-in time with you.



The Neighborhood:

South of the center and towards the salt pans, Belnem is one of Bonaire's best-known residential and vacation areas, traditionally linked to Harry Belafonte. Over time, Belnem has become an umbrella name for upscale sub-neighborhoods such as La Palma, Sabalpalm, Lima, Punt Vierkant, and Playa Esmeralda. You're close to popular southern beaches like Bachelor's Beach and iconic dive sites, ideal for sunsets and laid-back beach life. It's a quiet residential area with quick routes to the airport and downtown Kralendijk.



Windsock Kas di Bientu is approximately 4.1 kilometers from Van den Tweel supermarket, 1.3 kilometers from Dive Friends Port Bonaire dive center, 300 meters from Bachelor's Beach, 11.7 kilometers from Lac Bay (windsurfing) and 3.4 kilometers from Sebastian’s Restaurant.



Sunwise insider tip: From Windsock Kas di Bientu you can easily walk to Bachelor's Beach, a popular beach on the southern edge of Kralendijk. This narrow sandy beach lies at the foot of a low rock wall and is known for its crystal-clear blue water. It's a favorite spot to relax and to snorkel along the shoreline. Bring your snorkel gear, as you can often see colorful reef fish in the shallow water. Stay a bit longer: sunsets along this stretch of coast are often spectacular.



Getting Around:

Bonaire and especially the hotspots like Washington Slagbaai National Park, the remote pristine beaches, and the kitesurf and windsurf locations, are best enjoyed with a rental car, as our lovely Caribbean island has so much more to offer beyond the immediate surroundings of Windsock Kas di Bientu. With your own car you can explore remote snorkel spots, dive sites and local restaurants at your own pace. We strongly recommend renting a car so you can get everywhere easily. Most roads on Bonaire are paved, but for nature areas like the park, a pickup truck or SUV is advisable. The park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough, making a regular car less suitable. There is no public transport on Bonaire and taxis are limited, especially on busy days when a cruise ship is in port.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in to Windsock Kas di Bientu is from 3:00 PM and check-out is until 10:00 AM. Early arrival or late departure may be possible on request, depending on other reservations.
