11 of us had a great stay. The hosts availability before our stay was exceptional in arranging for us to visit and in adjusting our reservation. The walk from the parking to the houses, though short, was a bit challenging for several older members of our group, but not an obstacle. We would definitely repeat.

Owners of the Gig Harbor Lighthouse property communicated well and were very accommodating. Pictures do not capture the beauty of the property which includes two vacation homes. Adults and children enjoyed unlimited recreational opportunities in the Bay and Harbor. The homes and location provide for a wonderful extended family vacation. We look forward to returning and gladly provide the highest recommendation for those seeking a beachfront vacation.

Communication with the host was excellent -- responses were always prompt and helpful. These homes were amazing for our family vacation and worked well for all ages (six kids 9-18). Even with my mom's limitations from her recent knee replacement, she was able to navigate the long stairs with a little help on arrival and departure days and fully enjoyed the views. One note: all the queen beds are quite high so grandma slept in in one of the twin bedrooms with the youngest grandchild which worked well for her. We enjoyed having two houses to spread out in, and the kayaks and aqua bike were a big hit. The view of Mount Rainier was absolutely stunning and made the stay more memorable.

The host was amazing. She was in contact before and during our trip. They greeted us and showed us around the property. The property was great for the holidays and a large group of family gathering. The kitchen was well stocked in terms of dishes.

We really enjoyed our stay! The views are amazing. The furnishings are comfortable, and we found the house to be well provisioned with supplies for preparing food, activities, etc. The host has clear instructions and was helpful in making our stay enjoyable. Thank you for sharing your home!

So amazing to stay by the light house with an amazing view of gig harbor. The house had everything we needed including paddle boards and kayaks and beach towels. We enjoyed watching the seals swimming

Spectacular stay on the water

Weekend Getaway with Friends

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend staying here in Gig Harbor! There were 10 of us and plenty of space for everyone with lots of great communal areas to hang out, enjoy meals, and play games. You can't beat the location being right on the beach! Annie was a great host!

Great place

Absolutely amazing compound on the beach at gig harbor. We loved every minute of it -- it was so great we booked a second trip for 30 days later while we were at the VRBO! Highly recommend.

Great family home

We had 3 families with young kids here for a weekend trip—this home was so superbly located and an idyllic spot for the kids. They had hours of fun on the beach, watching the geese and sea otters, canoeing to the restaurant across the harbor, swinging in the hammock, and exploring the nearby lighthouse. Annie was also extremely responsive to all my questions during the weekend!

What an amazing stay!

My work team chose this Vrbo location for a work trip, and we were all immediately in awe when we arrived! We had plans to go out to dinner and ended up opting to stay in so we could enjoy the property. Annie was a wonderful host, she made sure our check-in was as smooth as possible. Perfect Extended Family Getaway

Everyone loved this location for our family vacation. With 13 of us ranging in age from 10-80, there was always something to do. We enjoyed sitting on the decks, making smokes by the campfire, kayaking and paddle boarding, and using the well stocked kitchen. We also went on excursions to Seattle and Mt. Rainier from this location. Annie was very welcoming and helpful.

Family vacation

We had a great time in Gig Harbor. The property was amazing! There were plenty of things to do nearby and it was fun to have access to the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. It was nice to have 2 properties so that everyone could spread out. Both places had everything you could possible need. All of the wildlife was an added plus. We would definately book again.

A Memorable Trip

We traveled to the West Coast from Virginia to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Our children and grandchildren joined us in Gig Harbor at the House at the Light. We all had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, the houses were comfortable and lovely and the property offered fun for everyone. Annie was a great host and she responded to anything we needed.
