Welcome to our spacious, family-friendly lakefront lodge—set on an elevated 3-acre lot with panoramic views and your very own private island for campfires under the stars. This is the ideal place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the best that Michigan’s four seasons have to offer.
Summer on the Lake
Relax on the large deck overlooking the water or kick back on the private sandy beach. Kids of all ages will love the shallow swim area, playground with a large swing set and slide, and evening s’mores around the island fire pit (firewood provided!).
Enjoy 6 included kayaks, great fishing, and easy boating—just 500 feet from a very nice concrete public launch ramp, in addition to our private access.
A spacious walkout basement provides the perfect hangout spot for kids or the whole family.
Fall Colors & Scenic Drives
Start your color tour right from the lodge. Several beautiful two-lane roads lead to Petoskey, Indian River, and other charming Up North towns—perfect for taking in vibrant fall foliage. Golf lovers will appreciate multiple world-class courses nearby.

Kids can sled down our large hill, and snowboarders/skiers are less than 35 miles from Boyne Mountain and one hour from The Highlands. A large parking area accommodates up to 10 vehicles.

Why they chose this property
This is a cozy Lakeside Cottage hidden 10 minutes off I-75. Just enjoy the Day at the all sports lake with the family. We offer six kayaks, and there is a public launch if you decide to bring or rent a watercraft. Kids like to search and catch frogs and turtles, or just jump off the dock and swim with a raft. Our goal is to make sure you are as happy and as comfortable on your summer vacation.
What makes this property unique
Perfectly located to visit near by towns, like Petoskey, Gaylord, Mackinac and Rodgers City are all roughly 30 minutes drive if you want to get out and explore the Northern tip of MI. Indian river is a 10 minute drive if you want to rent virtually any kind of outdoor utility vehicle or water craft. When you are done exploring you can come back to the quite lake of Wildwood and listen to the Loons calling and enjoy the sunset view. Cap of the evening with a bon-fire while staring at an umbrella of twinkling Northern stars when the moon is away.
