Property has plenty of room and facilities for a large family to get together; great deck and yard, with a peninsula into the small lake upon which it is located.

Host had great communication, property was great for our large family group. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone! Kitchen was very well equipped and perfect for cooking for 24 people!
Overall stay was excellent. House was nice and clean, every room having its own bathroom/shower is a huge bonus! Kitchen worked perfectly for our group size.

Thank you so much for your review! We are glad you had an excellent stay.
You won't find a property like this anywhere else. Nine bedrooms each with their own bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable common spaces. All with a simply spectacular view of a beautiful lake. This was our 3rd or 4th time back and each year we see improvements on the property. It's beautiful, clean, and one-of-a-kind! Kim and her team are wonderful to work with too!
Wonderful group setting with outstanding privacy, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. We would recommend this location for anyone but especially for large groups.

Staci,
Thank you! It makes us excited when we know our guests enjoyed their stay and what our place offers. Please come back to see us in the future.
The fishing and kayaking on the lake were the highlights for the week!! Very private beach. The kitchen has 2 large refrigerators which was a necessity for our family of 14. Every bedroom has a bathroom but the showers are super tiny. Any time we had a question, the owners replied very quickly.
They had some construction off basement deck, looks like it will be great when it's completed, wish it was done when we went tho . Owners were quick to respond when I had any questions, great trip !!

Thank you for taking care of the place! We hope you had a good time and come back to see the extra firepit and finished back area. :)
We had a great time at Wildwood Lodge! Having 9 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms is really hard to find - great kitchen, lots of space for groups to gather, wonderful starry nights, and a nice clean lake. It was a great week in late August and left all of us with a very special family memory.

Great family vacation at Wildwood Lodge for a second year!
Our family, ages 5 through 74, met for a week and we enjoyed having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. There is a great view of the lake from the deck.
We liked the well equipped kitchen, the common areas, and the island with the fire pit.
We spent a great deal of time in the water, cruising, tubing, and paddle boarding. Plan to return next year!
We are a family group, ranging in age from 10 weeks to 74 years. We had a lovely week at the lodge.
Enjoyed the private beach, and campfires on the island. We rented a pontoon boat and loved the easy lake access! We made lots of good memories. ❤️

Connie,
I love all the memories that can be made up north. We are happy to know you enjoyed your stay. See you next year!
Our Family had a great time. Lots of bedrooms each with their own bathrooms was fabulous! Two refrigerators, two stoves and the Blackstone made things so much easier. The little kids all absolutely loved the beach/pond area, many made use of the kayaks. Thank you to the hosts/owners for making this great place available.
Our very large immediate and extended family had a wonderful time. The house was clean and well stocked. The full bath in every bedroom was a great feature. Great communication with the owner/manager-we had to call them for a minor issue and they were quick to respond and resolve it. We would rent here again.

House was clean and beds, linens were very comfortable. didn’t access the lake at all as we were gone 10+ hrs/day for 36 holes of golf. good proximity to Gaylord area golf courses. will definitely come back

Thank you for your kind review. Also, thank you for taking care of the home. We really appreciate it and hope you all come back again.
We had a large group stay at the lodge for our annual snowmobile trip. Everyone had their own bed, and every room has its own bath/shower! Great kitchen, as we cook all our breakfast and dinner on the trip. Nothing was needed, the lodge has it all! We will definitely consider staying here again! Thank you, the #snirtydozen

About the host
Hosted by Kim Sauls
Why they chose this property
This is a cozy Lakeside Cottage hidden 10 minutes off I-75. Just enjoy the Day at the all sports lake with the family. We offer six kayaks, and there is a public launch if you decide to bring or rent a watercraft. Kids like to search and catch frogs and turtles, or just jump off the dock and swim with a raft. Our goal is to make sure you are as happy and as comfortable on your summer vacation.
What makes this property unique
Perfectly located to visit near by towns, like Petoskey, Gaylord, Mackinac and Rodgers City are all roughly 30 minutes drive if you want to get out and explore the Northern tip of MI. Indian river is a 10 minute drive if you want to rent virtually any kind of outdoor utility vehicle or water craft. When you are done exploring you can come back to the quite lake of Wildwood and listen to the Loons calling and enjoy the sunset view. Cap of the evening with a bon-fire while staring at an umbrella of twinkling Northern stars when the moon is away.
