View and location was perfect. We felt 100% safe. Only reason I can't gove our stay 5 stars, is the refrigerator went out the night before our last day. Those situations happen, but we lost alot of food.

The electrician said that the fan had to be replaced in the bottom of the refrigerator. He said it was not a big deal and we do do it the next day. Please let me know if I can repay you for any food that was in the freezer.
We had a fantastic stay here with 3 couples for a birthday getaway weekend. The host was incredibly helpful in maximizing our enjoyment of the area. The recommendations for chefs and activities were great! The property is very private with open views and walk up to a fantastic beach. It is in a remote area and was peaceful, but a small town and the Four Seasons are a 10 minute drive (or 2 mile beach walk!) away.
I hesitate to say anything because I’d like to keep this place a secret. It’s THAT GOOD. Everything about it is to die for: the views are stunning, beach is swimmable with tons of space to spread out, no crowds, no noise, close-by to two different towns with restaurants, bars, and resorts. It’s easy to fill your days with activities or simply do nothing, but we enjoyed the do-nothing days the best.
Very easy check in and the location is stunning on one of the most beautiful beaches in Baja. Style of the house is cool with a lot of open spaces. The house is not the newest ther are some things that would need an upgrade in the future but over all the location and theconcept of the house is amazing.
This is a fantastic property. The photos represent the space well. We cooked family dinners, sat around the campfire, spent hours swimming in the Sea of Cortez, snorkeled, played frisbee, went to Los Barilles for a day. It was a fantastic week.
Great house off the beaten track of Cabo. Enjoyed the hot tub, beach walks, and exploring the East Cape of Baja. Carolina cooked a wonderful dinner for us one night. Don't miss the snorkeling at Cabo Pulmo - was excellent. And Jesus was most helpful.
Beautiful location, great house, and Jesus was amazing to work with. Family had a great week exploring the East Cape with this amazing house as home base.

Hi Mike, thanks for the great review. I’m so happy it was a good experience. I’d like to offer you a free day if you come back again. Best, Lynne
We had a great stay and really enjoyed the nice beach right in front of the house. Very spacious and open layout. Definitely a little dated, but everything was great.
What a place! Perfectly situated between Los Barriles and La Ribera for dinner and groceries but we barely saw anyone on the beaches. The home itself is beautiful and the pool and hot tub warm. Jesus went above and beyond to help us arrange fishing and anything else we needed. Hated to leave.
We traveled with our 16 and 20 year old kids and had a great time. Fernando was very friendly and helpful.
Property was spacious and the surroundings were gorgeous. We loved the private beach.
Been going to Pedregal,Cabo San Lucas for 20 years so decided to try something more laid back. Right on the beach was fun; pool and hot tub was great (small added charge). Rented a UTV which was the highlight. Our 3 day stay was fun, then on to Cabo.
Wow! Unbeatable view and access to the most magnificent beaches. The beach house is amazing. We had a hard time leaving. Very private with pool and hot tub. Great place for entertaining. We will be back!
Location is incredible. Jesus was just awesome. Home is older, but beautiful. Great separation of space. We were three couples so it was perfect. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Open air concept, so you need to be okay with nature and being outdoors. The pool is the perfect place to hang out. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

My family had a great visit at this lovely home. The view is amazing! Beds are comfortable, and the house is very clean.
Heads up that the hot tub will not be heated unless you pay an extra fee per day. We were surprised this was not made more clear when we reserved, but luckily we were there in the middle of summer so we did not need the heated hot tub.

Karen, the additional propane cost has been very clearly stated under the ‘ house rules and policies’
For almost a year since the price doubled. I also alerted you to this prior to your stay and resent that you are not being honest about it.
We had an amazing time at this home. I just keep recalling how peaceful it was there. The kids could swim in the ocean right in front of the house without the fear of big waves that you experience in other parts of Los Cabos. The design of the house is beautiful and it was very clean. Beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub looking out over the Sea of Cortez. We loved exploring La Ribera and Los Barriles and went to the hot springs only half an hour away. We had dinner five minutes down the road at the Four Seasons on our last night. My favorite family dinner by far.
We had an amazing, relaxing vacation in this rental. Beautiful house in an excellent location. We loved the remote, country vibe. The beach feels like it’s your own. We loved walking on the beach, collecting shells, and fishing. Some days were very windy, but overall, perfect. Fernando was responsive and accommodating. Luchi and Ramon cooked two meals for us that were absolutely amazing! Cynthia came to house for the most relaxing massages - highly recommend! Everyone was super friendly and kind. We felt safe and right at home. Thanks for sharing your home!
My girlfriends and I were looking for a beautiful, secluded place to recharge and reconnect. We found it here. The property was spacious and comfortable with astounding proximity and access to the ocean—right at our doorstep with views at every turn. The beach was ideal for serene walks, evening bonfires and raucous ATV rides. We enjoyed our adventure to Cabo Pulmo and outings into Los Barilles for lunch and groceries, and to hunt down local fishermen for their catch of the day. My friends and I loved being off the beaten path and seeing so few tourists. This part of Mexico is beautiful and untamed. The house fits right into the landscape. It's a special place.
We have been going to Mexico twice a year for a long time, we started going to all inclusive resorts, and have evolved to just wanting a quiet special place to relax. Without a doubt we found that with Casa Alegre! From the moment we arrived it was clear that this was a very special property. We were blessed with being able to see a turtle come out of the water and lay her eggs on the beach, to the 5 horses that live in the area and roam freely about. We had some windy days, but the sound of the surf, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets captivated us. We will be back! A special thank you to Fernando for being so helpful, and also to Lucy (Fernando's Aunt) and Christina who cooked for us and made our vacation just that more special!! Muchas Gracias!!! We are looking forward to a return visit very soon!!!

Hi Catherine,
Thank you for your great review. So happy that you appreciate the extraordinary natural beauty, as we do. We would like to offer you a free day, whenever you decide to return, please just remind me..
Happy Holidays,

This home is in a great location if you're looking for quiet and relaxation. Beaches in Mexico are public, but traffic was minimal during our stay. The house manager was attentive and helpful.
The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, and waking up to the view of the Sea of Cortez every morning was amazing.
While we enjoyed the old school charm and style of the house, it is in need of some repairs. There are things like broken drawer pulls, loose door handles, and other general wear and tear items that need attention to bring the property back to its former glory.
The internet connection wasn't great and went completely down a few times during our stay. This could be problematic if you were trying to have a working vacation. Maybe they'll upgrade to Starlink in the future, as many people in rural Mexico are now doing.
Also worth noting is that the house cannot be completely locked. This is a low crime area and it didn't make us feel unsafe, but I wouldn't plan on leaving anything expensive or important laying around while away.

The house is rustic and beachy. If you're looking for a more high tech environment, you can find places on the Cabo Corridor, that would better suit your needs. We have the highest level of internet available in our area. "Starlink" isn't available in La Ribera. The doors do lock, but we have never had the need to, which is part of the appeal of the house and area. I'm sure a broken drawer pull, or a loose handle can easily be remedied with a screwdriver, lol.
You know what they say... location, location, location. I have been to Cabo many times and this was the first time we decided to venture out from the resorts. I am glad we did. This spot was absolutely perfect. One of the concerns about venturing out from the tourist areas is safety. We felt totally safe here. Everyone was friendly and it was quite charming. There was not a lot by way of shopping, but there are several good, rustic, authentic restaurants. I recommend Resurante Piedras Gordas. Several small grocery stores met all our needs. We also did the hike to the hot springs and waterfall - both amazing!
We could sit on the beach all day and see one or two people the entire day. The beach, it is calm, sandy, and perfect for swimming or sea kayaking. The pool and hot tub were great. There is a fire pit on the property and we had an enchanting fireside evening with the sounds of the ocean in the back ground. It doesn't get much better than that.
The house is a little older and has a few things you would expect from a home of it's age, but very clean and charming. The beds were amazing. I don't know what sheets the host uses, but you will not want to get out of them in the morning! There was not a lot of negative to speak off but I will mention that the master bedroom and the pool house room are both fabulous. The 3rd bedroom does not have a view or ensuite. Best to decide ahead of time who is getting what room!
All in all, the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

This was the first and only property we saw and knew immediately it was the one. we live in Malibu and this property on the beach as it sits, in Malibu, would be over $20 million . It’s a beautiful high energy spiritual place of intense beauty and we designed it to be a high-end mid-century modern meets surf house.
