Unit 342- 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Bayside Standard Condominium

This first floor 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condominium is located on the Bay side of our property. The Bay side has a pool, hot tub and charcoal grills. It is also a very short stroll to the Gulf side part of our property which has another pool, two tennis courts and our white sandy beach. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The comfortably decorated master bedroom is furnished with a king bed with a 24" flat screen TV, and the guest bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds with a 40" flat screen TV. The Master bathroom has a bath tub and the guest bathroom has a walk-in shower. The spacious living room is equipped with a 40" flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster and a coffee maker. This condo also comes equipped with a stack-able washer/dryer. The condo has new wood flooring throughout. There is also a comfortably furnished outdoor patio that can be used by you and your family to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

Amazing place

We loved our stay. Check-in was seamless, front desk staff very helpful, parking was a breezes. The unit was clean and functional, and the in-unit laundry a huge bonus! We also appreciated that there were a lot of outlets and charging/power strips, and plenty of towels. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Spring Break location

We enjoyed our stay at the Palm Bay Club! It was a short walk to the beach. It was so helpful to have the wagon, sand toys, fishing pole, coolers, etc. right there for us to use. Being on the Bayside was nice in the evenings when we wanted to swim in the pool and use the hot tub.

Cute condo with lots of convenient extras

We had a great time in Siesta staying in the condo. So great having a washer and dryer! My kids were so happy there were fishing rods and beach toys to use. Also beach umbrellas if you need them. The beds were comfy and the walk in shower was excellent!

The condo was comfortable, exceptionally clean and made our vacation one of the best. The beach was HUGE and AWESOME! We are already planning a trip for next year at the Palm Bay Club. All the other guests that we saw and spoke to were very nice and friendly. Having the washer and dryer was a definite plus. We can't wait to book for next year at the Palm Bay Club.

Only thing I would check is the washer door would pop open while it was running a load of clothes. Maybe have maintenance take a look at it. It was not a big deal but wanted the owners to know so they can look at it. Otherwise the place was great!!

Leaking from ceiling above

Strong overall mold smell! The toilet from above was leaking. We had to move to another unit. It was a smooth move. The toilets in that unit ran and ran . It seems there is a need to check the plumbing more carefully. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Points up for the washer and drier. The living room couch needs looks dirty and worn out ...the facility as over all has become a little bothering when it comes to new rules and restrictions compare to past years..I understand thereare rules to be follow but the security personal needs some common sense and stop harrasssing the guests...I came to relax and enjoy not to bother.

Palm Bay Apt Siesta Key

My family stayed 3 nights 4 days Cons: 1-Master bedroom bathroom sink and tub drain not working properly and fills up with water 2- cleaning fee should not be so high when the cleaning was not up to standard - found a taquito in the mini oven when toasting bread and with food residue stuck to rack - kitchen sink left dirty -Mastbedroom tub dirty 3- Couches worn out and dirty looking -have then steam cleaned or buy a couch cover that can be washed if you don't want to replace we had to put a blanket on the couch to sit 4- Master bedroom bed - Needs to be replaced as it sinks in the middle and very uncomfortable and unable to sleep on it after the 1st night as I have back issues PROS 1-Enough space for 6 ppl 2-kitchen fully stocked 3-Enough Towle for our stay 4- Balcony is a nice place to sit 5- A few steps from the 2nd pool with a nice view of the bay 6- Besides cons apt was comfortable well maintained

A few improvements needed

There were a few things about our stay that I think need to be shared. 1. Both bathrooms had issues. MA bath didn’t drain and would fill up like a bath almost whole showering. The shower in the smaller room had almost know pressure and the head is too close to the wall. The toilet when you flush it makes a loud sound like it is going to break. 2. The dishwasher didn’t seem to really clean the dishes so we ended up had washing them. 3. Washing machine door kept opening mid cycle. 4. There were a ton of items left behind in the laundry room. So many that it could be considered a hazard. You can verify with the guys who came out to fix the water heater beeping noise. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We enjoyed the beach and pool areas although the pools were hot.

Best complex on siesta key

This unit and property is amazing. The property has a Caribbeanesque feel. Long corridors lined with huge palm trees. The property is meticulously maintained and has security staff on the premises day and night. The bayside pool was our favorite as we were able to use the charcoal grills to cook our meals with a great view of the ICW. The unit was as advertised. Very clean and bright. Fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs. Comfy couches and the main bedroom bed was also comfy. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The dressers could be replaced as some of the drawers are worn out. The unit also had a beach cart, bocce ball, volleyball, pickle ball, pool noodles, fishing pole, umbrella and multiple coolers to use at the beach. The cart was awesome to carry all the toys to the beach. Beach chairs are provided by the complex and carted by staff to wherever you would like to sit at the beach. We did have an issue with the main bedroom toilet breaking when we checked in. The staff responded appropriately and we were compensated for only having one toilet for our stay. Close proximity to local restaurants and bars in the village and on the island. We would most definitely stay here again.

Great location/amenities

I love a good detailed review so here it goes.. PROS: great location on siesta key, lots of free convenient options for rides so no need for car, private beach area was very nice, two pool options and heated which was a plus on a windy day, bathroom has a bathtub which is great if you have kids, did include some beach toys but glad we rented as it didn’t have buckets or shovels, property works often with abc baby rentals which was very convenient. CONS: listing didn’t state there was a pack n play so we rented when we didn’t need to, reviews stated there was a beach wagon and there was none so plan accordingly, property said condiments were included but nothing in the kitchen so plan accordingly if doing grocery order, walk to the beach from the bay is 8-10 mins (not far but far enough if doing often), while there is great security it makes it difficult for Ubers and deliveries to get to you, if you want late check out it’s only 2 more hours and another $50, property office does not know much about what’s going on with the unit itself and you aren’t communicating with owner so makes it difficult and they can just blame owner. Would we stay again and maybe in a closer unit? Yes.

Great Week at the Beach!

Just a great facility with ideal placements to everything.Highlights:- The condo itself is spacious and well laid out with the two bedrooms and bathrooms- The closet of beach supplies was AMAZING. We used the heck out of the cart and cooler all week! Such a nice feature to have those available- The condo is located in a great spot within the grounds. 1 minute walk to the back pool, 3 min walk to the front pool and 8 min walk to the best beach ever- The private beach is great with lounge chairs free to use- There is also a trolley stop right outside the driveway which is perfect for runs to the Village for dinner and ice creamLowlights:- The folks above us were extremely noisy from 6am-2am pretty much any time we were in the condo there was mass amounts of noise from above. I don't think this is 342's fault, more so just the group of people staying above. Made it difficult to relax at night- No beach toys (buckets, shovels, etc.) for the kids to use. Quick trip to Dollar Tree resolved this- The patio wasn't the cleanest and there wasn't much room to enjoy out there. Not the end of the world, but worth noting.Final Word:We will 100% stay at The Palm Bay Club again next year and Unit 342 will be on our list of condos to consider!
