Right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico in Orange Beach, AL. This condo boasts beautiful views of both the beach and the bay from your balcony. Sit and relax at the beach or be active and go kayaking, paddle boarding or bike riding. This location can't be beat! State Park trails run right along side of this complex! Walking distance to Walgreens, Starbucks, Publix and many restaurants. 4th floor condo. Sleeps 8. King size bed in the master bed room. Queen size bed in the upstairs loft room. Built in bunks in the hallway and pull out sleeper sofa. This condo also features 1 and a half baths. It has a beautiful pool with a spacious covered area to take a break from the sun or have lunch. You can also enjoy the grill area with picnic tables. There is a boat pier in the parking lot behind the condo with access to launch kayaks or your paddle boards. Bike racks ready for use after you enjoy a ride through the state park. Come see all that Orange Beach has to offer while staying at The Grand Caribbean.

We loved this condo. It was a quick walk to the beach across the street (with a light and crosswalk). Elevators were quick, not crowded, quiet. Owner texted us when it was ready and told us to contact her with any issues. There were no issues.

Short Distance to Beach

There were 7 of us on our family vacation. Ages ranged from 6 months to 66 years. It accommodated everyone. We loved the walking distance to the beach. Complex was clean. Easy entrance and great communication with owner. Every day was a beach day with no red flags. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The condo had everything we needed inside to make our stay wonderful. The balcony had a great view of the sunrise and the ocean. We were able to walk to the ocean and there were shops and activities close by in any direction. Dolphin cruise 3 minutes away, pirate ship cruise 8 minutes away, Walmart 3 minutes away, dining all around as well as souvenir shops. The location was perfect for our first time to the beach. The only caution I have would be in agreement with another review that stated to put the trash can for the room under the stairs so you can keep from bumping your head on the spiral staircase. Overall this place was perfect for us.

The condo was nice. It was on the 4th floor, so you either took the stairs that were close to the unit, or the elevator, which was a ways down the hallway. It is on a busy highway, that you need to cross to get to the beach. There is a light to make it more safe, but I would probably spend the extra money on a condo right on yhe beach next time. Beds were comfortsble.

Clean, quiet, beautiful view. Loved the spiral staircase and the teal giant lifeguard style chair! All my questions were quickly answered and check in/out super easy. Would definitely stay again. The whole area is nice.

Condo was cute. We had fun. The things I wasn't impressed with was the tiles when you walk in were either scratched or cracked. The kitchen was ok. It was missing a mixer. The wall paper was coming off the wall in the kitchen. The bathroom had trash left on top of the shower. There were stains on the wood just above the toilet paper roll that washed off when I washed it the day we got there. The location was great. We've stayed in that building 3x, first for that room. Beds were nice! The closet upstairs is unusable due to the heater/ whatever is in it. I ranked this condo 4/5 stars.

The property was close to a really good beach, souvenir stores, several restaurants, a Publix, & Walmart neighborhood Market. It was mostly clean but we found several hairball type things on the floor and crumbs and hairs on the bunk bed linens but otherwise it was pretty clean. The beds were pretty comfortable, kitchen was well supplied with all equipment we needed, kids beach toys were supplied, and all systems worked as expected. Easy to access with door key pad. Owner was very patient with us and understanding with us being a few minutes late checking out. Only negatives besides the minor cleanliness issues already mentioned were the spiral staircase (while beautiful and space efficient) is somewhat in a difficult place. Watch your head when walking around it. I believe 3 of our party hit their heads on the lower steps. Just a hint, after these minor injuries, we put one of the high backed kitchen chairs under the stairs to remind us to not walk there. We also moved the trash can to the wall between the 1/2 bath and the stairs to provide a wider walking area away from the stairs. The last negative thing, while not directly related to this specific condo, was very frustrating. We had a small 5x8’ utility trailer that we used for hauling luggage and the facility said we were not allowed to park it anywhere on the premises and recommended we go and pay $45 to park it at a boat storage place nearby (which we did because we were “over a barrel”).

Cute, quiet and close to the beach

Very cute little place with plenty of room for the seven of us. Quick walk across the road to the public beach access. Super easy check in and out process. Danielle was super helpful and quick to respond with anything that we needed.

My husband and I vacationed in this area for years with our kids. We loved it so much we moved to Gulf Shores 5 years ago from Northeast Indiana. We always dreamed of one day owning our own condo. Last year we saw that dream become a reality. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and look forward to having them visit us as often as possible! Our condo is not just an investment property it is an extension of our home.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy this property because of the location. While we love sitting on the beach we also wanted a place where we could put in our kayak's and paddle boards and enjoy the back waters and be active. This place offers it all. We can walk across the street and sit at the beach all day or decide to bike ride through the State Park or Kayak and Paddle Board. One day we will take the leap and have a boat and make use of that boat pier. We also love that once you get there you don't need a car. You can walk to anything you need. There are multiple grocery stores, drug stores, Starbucks (a must) and restaurants that are right next to this property.
