St Remy de Provence charm

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The accommodation was charming and comfortable and very well situated for getting around Provence. Gerard and his wife were very helpful with suggestions and directions which was so appreciated! We highly recommend this property!

Great welcome from Gerard. It was super hot so the pool was a welcome everyday. Most days we had it to ourselves. Cottage good location for walks into St Remy or day trips. Many thanks for a lovely stay

Lovely Gite

Tasteful and comfortable home away from home within walking distance of St. Remy de Province. We enjoyed our week immensely visiting Avignon, Chauvet cave and nearby villages. Gerard was a wonderful host keeping us in the loop around the many celebrations in the town for Patrimonial week in St. Remy. We would certainly return.

Living like God in France

In Dutch there is a saying "leven als God in Frankrijk"; I try to translate this in English: "living like God in France". While staying a week in this wonderful place we experienced this. 😊 The host who lives next to the house was very helpful with everything. The location is on a perfect walking distance of the centre of the historical city and several other beautiful villages/cities are easy/fast accessible by car. A supermarket is very close & many fine restaurants are also in walking distance. Would recommend 10/10

Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben uns in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt-es ist perfekt für zwei Personen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und großzügig. Wir wurden von Gerard und seiner Frau sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen wertvolle Tipps, nochmal danke dafür! Es waren zwei perfekte Wochen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus

Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in idyllischer Lage mit netten Vermietern. Der Pool ist groß und wunderbar. Einzig fühlt man sich als Eindringling, wenn man auf das nur durch Büsche abgetrennte Grundstück des Vermieters muss um sodann vor den freundlichen Augen der Familie zu baden. Einen negativen Punkt gibt es noch anzusprechen: das Schlafzimmer hat nur Fenster zum Wohnzimmer und kann nur so belüftet werden.

Heerlijke plek

Mooi huisje, precies goed voor ons tweeën. Eigen stuk grond. Gerard en zijn vrouw wonen op hetzelfde terrein. Gerard is gezellig, houdt van een praatje maar laat je wel met rust. Hij is heel hulpvaardig. We hadden gereedschap nodig voor onze fiets en daar kwam hij mee aan. Helaas had ik een dokter nodig en daar heeft hij me ook heel goed mee geholpen. Je moet een steile helling op naar het huis maar daar ben je zo aan gewend. Het is op loopafstand van het stadje en het is heerlijk fietsen in de omgeving. St. Rémy is erg leuk. Een aanrader is restaurant Edu op 5 minuten lopen van het huis. Wij vinden het heerlijk, de drukte van een klein stadje (niet te) en de rust van het platteland.

Maison trés jolie

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine à St. Rémy. La maison est conçue dans un style typiquement provençal. Il est entièrement et joliment meublé. La piscine était magnifique!Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et recommandons la maison comme point de départ et destination pour de longs voyages en Provence. Merci beaucoup! Wir haben eine schöne Woche in St. Rémy verbracht. Das Haus ist komplett eingerichtet und der Pool herrlich. Es ist als Start zu Zielen in der Provence sehr geeignet. Wir würden es weiterempfehlen!

Situation idéale

Merci à Marie et Gérard pour leur accueil. La location est très bien située à 2 pas de Saint Rémy et en face des Alpilles très beau cadre pour les balades dans la nature ou bien dans le superbe village !! Malgré des températures très chaudes dans la journée (on vient dans le sud pour ça !!), les soirées, nuits et matinées sont très agréables. Très belle piscine à partager avec d'autres vacanciers (2) et de temps en temps avec la famille des propriétaires ce qui permet des échanges sympathiques. Nous recommandons !!

Ideal location to explore Provence

This property exceeded our expectations. The house is well located for exploring Provence and Gerard's recommendations for visiting various towns and villages in the area were very helpful. St. Rémy is a lovely town with pretty streets filled with shops and restaurants and places of interest. Its a 10 minute walk from the house to the town. The house is well equipped, its an old converted stable and its thick walls keeps the high temperature at bay on a hot day and of course if you are feeling too hot you can always take a dip in the swimming pool. The garden is lovely and Gerard keeps it in pristine condition with spectacular solar lighting at night. The pool area is beautiful and the view of the Alpilles is breathtaking. The patio is an ideal setting for dining or just sitting relaxing with a glass of rosé from the region. Thanks to Gerard and Maryse for a wonderful stay in their guest house.

Ein schönes Häuschen am Stadtrand mit herrlichem Pool

Die äußere Umgebung und Gestaltung des Häuschens ist hervorragend. Auf die Sauberkeit im Inneren müsste etwas mehr Wert gelegt werden. Schade, dass das Schlafzimmer kein eigenes Fenster hat. Wenn man selbst Hand anlegt, kann man sich jedoch wohlfühlen.

Nous avons passé un séjour très, très agréable! La maison, qui est un vrai bijoux pour deux personnes, est située très calme, absolumemt propre et elle est idéale pour faire de nombreuses excursions dans la splendide région de Saint Rémy. Le jardin et la nouvelle haie offrent une vue magnifique vers Les Beaux et les montagnes des Alpilles. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et discrèts.
