Clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay. The only challenge for us was the parking. We have a midsize SUV, so it was tricky to back it into the garage. If you have a sedan or a smaller vehicle it should be much easier. We were glad there was a garage as street parking was very crowded. Good Host!!

Excellent stay, safe, comfortable, and thoughtfully designedI stayed here while my daughter was having surgery nearby, and it was the perfect place to be close to her during that time. I was mostly on my own for the stay and brought my daughter to the home on the last day.The house felt very safe and secure, and the neighbors were pleasant and welcoming. The neighborhood itself is great, active with dog walkers and just a short walk to downtown San Mateo, which I really enjoyed.The home is extremely well thought out, and the space is used wisely and efficiently while still feeling open and spacious. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. Access was easy, and communication with the host was excellent, very responsive and helpful throughout.A couple of small notes for future guests: parking is street parking (which was clearly communicated ahead of time). I personally had no issues finding parking except for one night during my 5-day stay. Also, the area rug could have used a bit more vacuuming/sweeping, but there was a vacuum/broom onsite and it was easy to take care of. Everything else was very tidy and clean, and this seemed more like a minor cleaner issue than anything related to the host.Overall, I had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend.

This space was beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and so easy to access! It definitely is newly renovated and pristinely maintained. Contacted the owner via phone for quick responses. It was within walking distance of myriads of eating and entertainment locations. Would definitely recommend it and will hopefully utilize it in the future!

It was soo simple!. Communication with the owners was easy and friendly. Easy to obtain access and the space as very clean, with easy access to internet and wi-fi. Place was close to downtown and easily walkable to the Caltrain, shops and grocery. Highly recommend. Only Con was the steep steps up to the doorway, which was a little hard for my 89 yr old mom to get on.

Wonderful place

This was a great find! We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and needed something more comfortable than a hotel room, and this was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Close enough to walk to restaurants downtown. I would definitely recommend.

Historic Charm in Downtown San Mateo

Nicely renovated triplex in close proximity to everything in San Mateo. Walking distance to the Cal Train and all the shops and restaurants in downtown San Mateo. We really enjoyed the freedom to walk and use public transportation rather that getting in the car for all activities.
