Everything was absolute perfection! The check in process was seamless. The place was beautiful. Great area. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. Loved it! Greatly recommend it.

There are positives and areas for improvement- we may consider staying again.

I want to be fair there are positives and negatives. Positives: 1. The location is close to the airport, Heliopolis, Nasr city, Al Maza 2. The owner is very responsive and checkin was smoothe 3. The place is spacious and suitable for a family. Negatives 1. The air conditioners were not working when we arrived. It took 6 days to get them working. These things should be checked in advance of stays. 2. The place is run down. It’s like the pics were taken 5 yrs ago. One door handle was coming off. Several Of the base boards look like they are cracked off the wall and are hanging on by a thread and the grout around the tub is missing making it look moldy when it may not be. 3. The place was not dirty but was not clean by my standards, which may also be why it looked so run down. There are lots of glass surfaces, and whoever wiped the bottom left all kinds of marks which makes the top look very dirty when it was not. I went out to buy cleaning supplies and found that the surfaces were not that dirty it was the bottoms. 4. One bedroom got a lot of smoke each afternoon/ evening from the flat below. My daughter and I both have reactive airways so we did not stay in the room with door handle that was coming off. The owner likely cannot do anything about this. Most everyone in Egypt smokes sadly Anyhow there is a level of culture shock looking at the neighborhood but the apartment if it was fully functioning and cleaned better would be a 4.5 star and we would stay again
