absolutely picturesque, perfect location. It felt like something out of a story book. It was about a 20 min walk into the village, and the walk itself was gorgeous. Our host was very helpful and responsive, house was clean, and had everything we needed. He checked in with us to make sure we were okay. Overall, 10/10 and best stay we’ve had in Provence. It was our first visit so we were extremely happy and were so so sad to leave! Hope to come back again soon. Thanks again x

Missed opportunity. I will start off by saying the view and location is absolutely gorgeous and we loved the property cats. However the apartment was cold, dark and damp. Everything was musky and worn down, the towels were clearly very old and had a musty smell. Same with the tiny love seat. The walls were molding and there were spider webs, and floor smelled like foot, it jsut seems like the whole place was thrown together with the least amount of effort to rent out. The listing said that bed linens are provided but not put on the bed for you, so we had to dress the bed ourselves. The listing also said it provided essential soap which apparently doesn't include shower gel. Maybe the last two are just cultural norms but if you are renting to foreigners wouldn't you want to be accommodating? We loved Bonnieux and the property is beautiful. As a designer I felt the little apartment had so much potential, and sad there was such little care given to it. It seemed like the small apartment next door was recently renovated, if they decide to do something similar to this unit in the future then maybe we would stay again.

Thank you for your feedback, although we find it very harsh (4/10...???). It rained just before your arrival, but we always clean thoroughly. If there was a cobweb, it was removed the night before your arrival. Furthermore, you didn't read the instructions regarding the provision of sheets and towels, as you contacted me to complain about it... Just like your car, which you didn't park in the correct spot... If you had been a little more communicative and friendly, we would have found a solution to improve your stay... Our guests for this apartment are usually delighted, and many of them return regularly.

Extremely Pleasant Stay

It was legitimately the most romantic rental I've ever rented/experienced. Idyllic setting, very cozy, nice amenities (kitchen, bathroom, hair dryer), and even though it was hot during the stay, the property stayed at a nice temperature - I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of A/C. Antonin was a perfect host and very communicative - he also had great local recommendations.

A bientôt Hans - Peter

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt
