We came up for the weekend for my son’s youth football game agains union county. We booked this trip last minute hoping to make the morning a little easier and it did just that! We came up Friday after work and found the cabin and checked in easily. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever had and the boys loved the bunks and toys upstairs. We were really scored at how much space and comfort this cabin had. It was very close to all that we needed to do for football and a stocked kitchen mad cooking so easy during our stay. We will definitely stay at this cabin again!
This cabin was perfect just pulling up and getting out. The scenery and ambiance is everything. Then walking in and it just feeling like home when you were away from yours in reality was magical. Bill has this cabin set up better than any rental I’ve ever stayed at on any of the rental places. It has all the things. We usually bring everything because we are used to bringing it anyways but he had it all. From the marshmallow holders for the fire. To just simple spices. The cabin was just a joy to be at. It’s very close to all the waterfalls and state parks. It’s in a wonderful location. Thanks for sharing this little piece of heaven with us. The birds in the kitchen window were the best therapy and brought the most peacefulness. The property itself is just so BEAUTIFUL! Love the little bridge over the creek. We will come back when we are in the area.
We booked this for some family time. The cabin was beyond our expectations. The owners were super nice, and the communication was superb. While the area offered so much to go out and see and do, we found it MORE fun to just stay in the cabin and play some of the many games or do puzzles the owners had there for guests. Truley the best family vacation we have ever had and we WILL be making this place a yearly visit going forward....maybe twice a year.
The family enjoyed our time. The property had things to explore. Kids took a dip in the stream. We made s’mores. It is a bit of a drive on twisty mountain roads to get to Helen activities. Which may not have been doable in rain but we had great weather. Cabin was well equipped with room to spread out. Loved dinners on the porch.
There is not enough time to be spent in this beautiful cabin and not enough words to describe the joy our family had while staying there. Everything was perfect. Everything is available and there are close stores if not.
From the time we walked up on the front porch we knew it was going to be great and it got better once we got inside. The kitchen was equipped with everything we need and the large table was great for eating and chatting. The couches were comfy and plenty of room for large groups. The bedrooms were fully furnished and comfortable. Loved the double sink bathroom downstairs. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch and all the Hummingbird and Woodpecker’s that came to Welcome us. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the are
We absolutely loved this cabin! They had everything you could think of, and then some! There was something for all ages to do! We were in town for a family wedding and it was only a 4 minute drive away. We cannot wait to start planning our next trip back! Awesome place!!!
We have a group of high school friends that we do several trips a year with. The house was great. We really enjoyed the large deck on the back. We all sat out there and watched the UGA game.
The place was nice. The bed upstairs kept pushing my son and his wife towards the middle. It's like the bed either broken or mattress bad. My daughter found open condum under the bed. There was trash in trash can. The water turned yellowish Saturday for a little bit that morning. When we got back late it was clear. Other then that the place is beautiful. But the cleaning needs to be done better.
Perfect spot for our family to gather and fellowship for a wedding weekend at Southern Pine! Everything was nicely kept and checking in was easy and efficient. Thanks so much!
This is our 2nd visit to Choestoe cabin. The. Cabin is awesome and owners are very accommodating and hospitable. Beds are comfortable and spacious. Upstairs bunks are a favorite of our kids. Tons of games and places to play inside and out.
Perfect cabin for our adult family of 5 attending a wedding at the Southern Tree Plantation. The beds are SO comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for food prep, and it is one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. The added touch of having Christmas decorations everywhere really was special. Thank you!
Great location to parks for hiking, seeing waterfalls, and just walking the friendly quiet neighborhood. And spending time lazy-ing about. Clean cabin, spacious, lots of amenities!
You should stay here, the fire pit was the highlight of our stay. The owners are very attentive and answered all of our questions. The cabin is great and plenty of room.
Beautiful, quiet neighborhood for this cozy, well equipped cabin. The cabin is clean, the beds are comfortable and there is everything you need and more. Terrific communication with owners! The check-in binder has detailed information for your stay in the cabin and a list of activities for the area. I loved that there was bird food left to refill the feeders, they were such a joy to listen to and watch!
Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again!
I have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s, this one was very well equipped and very clean. Loved the porches and fire pit. The bedding was comfy and soft. Nice neighborhood.
