About this property

Relax in the ❤️ of Old Mesilla. Close to plaza.

This gorgeous casita is located just a few short blocks (about 1/4 mile) from the plaza in Old Mesilla where you will find tons of great restaurants (mostly delicious Mexican food), wineries, bars, unique shopping and fun events. There is a market in the square on Fridays and Sundays with neat jewelry, art and other local treasures.

The area is rich in history and culture and has many tales of days when Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett used to wonder the village.

This casita is so charming and lovely you may never want to leave. It is the perfect little getaway for a relaxing work trip or a fun filled weekend. It has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare some home cooked meals when you just feel like staying in. The living room has comfortable couch and love seat, a large flat screen tv with Directv access plus a smart blue ray dvd player which will allow you to access your Amazon Prime, Netflix or other accounts with the free, secured wifi. There is also a washer and dryer, one queen size bed, a beautiful bathroom with large walk in shower and quality towels and linens.

The fabulous, private patio may just be your favorite spot though. It is completely covered and gated, opens to the lush green yard with solar lights and bird feeders and features a bbq grill and bistro set perfect to sit at with your morning cup of coffee or your evening glass of wine or tea.

The casita is located behind our home, but is detached and has complete privacy. It features a separate entrance with keypad lock and one covered parking space.

While we do live on site and can be available upon request, you can rest assured that your stay will be private and just what you were hoping for.

You won't be disappointed

This was the perfect spot to rest and recharge as we spent time enjoying Mesilla, Las Cruces, and White Sands. Cozy and comfortable, definitely inviting, we made use of the kitchen as well as some of the games in the bookshelf while we stayed. Next time we come for a visit, this will be top of the list

Very nice property! Gorgeous kitchen. Super clean. Very close to the heart of Old Mesilla. Many good restaurants and wonderful little shops near by. Stayed at this property over Christmas and enjoyed all the beautiful lights and decorations in Old Mesilla. A very nice visit!

Overall the accommodations were clean and well provisioned. The bed was much too soft and my spouse and I woke every morning with a backache. The living area had a couch and loveseat, both were uncomfortable due to worn support/cushions. Made getting out of the furniture difficult and uncomfortable for any long period of time. Covered carport was nice and the rear yard was pretty.

Mesilla Casita

This is a lovely casita near old Mesilla. I was traveling solo for this trip and the casita was perfect for me. The location is great with goods restaurants and shopping nearby. The casita I s very nicely decorated and comfortable. I appreciated the kitchen, washer/dryer, and A/C (it was almost 100 degrees 😅)! This casita also had a lot of extra supplies so those items didn’t have to be purchased. The owner, Jodi, is an excellent and prompt communicator. Definitely 5-stars and so much better than staying at a hotel!

What a perfect little place!

We loved the location in Mesilla. It was quiet and watching the birds eating and playing was relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom was amazing and every area was decorated so nicely. Thank you for a great stay!

This private, quiet casita is beautifully appointed. The kitchen was well furnished, the bed comfortable, spacious bathroom, and the outdoor cafe table was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the many birds at the feeders. So convenient to walk to Mesilla Plaza. Highly recommend!

Loved staying in this Old Town Mesilla Park jewel!

This is a very beautiful place, the inside was perfect and the outside patio and backyard were wonderful. There are multiple restaurants and retail shops within walking distance. We will definitely be back! :)

Great location

Within walking to the heart of Old Mesilla. Safe neighborhood. Lovely accommodations. Close to many other attractions within driving distance for day trips. Went up to Cloudcroft, Lincoln National Forest, and caught sunset at White Sands on the way back. Did Hatch, T or C, Elephant Butte, the next day. Highway 28 is a nice scenic drive. But, be sure to save lots of time to spend right in Old Mesilla.
