Idyllic setting by a loch and next to Ben More

Clean, well layed out, well appointed. Heating and hot water at the touch of a button. Comfortable bed. Would love to stay again.

A week in September

Lovely chalet, clean and well-equipped. Perfect base for Munro-bagging. The red squirrel running round outside was a bonus! Only slight niggle was lack of instructions for heater control in bathroom - I tried turning it down but it still got hotter than needed.

I am sorry you had difficulty with the control on the heated towel rail in Lapwing. As you would have noticed we have just installed a brand new bathroom in Lapwing and I will take note to detail some instructions for future guests on how to operate the towel rail. We genuinely hope to welcome you back to Portnellan sometime in the future when ALL the offerings are available for your use and enjoyment. It is most strange having to operate under such circumstances. Enjoyable stay

Comfortable property in a lovely area. Close to the main road so there was some traffic noise. Plenty to do, in spite of the adverse weather!
