The property is centrally located within easy walking distance of the old town and the beaches. Both the indoor and outdoor space is very comfortable and set up to accommodate the needs of visitors. The host is very well organized with detailed instructions and guidance, which was very helpful. Overall it was a very enjoyable visit.

Great stay in the center of town

Can't say enough good things about this apartment. Gilles - the host - was super friendly and explained everything to us as we arrived. It also comes with the parking spot which is very handy in this town. The place itself is big, clean and had plenty of beds for a large group of people. I would stay here again if I'm in Provence.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Avignon!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish! We met our host, Gilles, on arrival and were greeted warmly with lots of suggestions for local points of interest and some great restaurant recommendations. The location is just perfect, right next to the opera house in the city center with easy, safe access to shopping, restaurants and clubs. The underground parking is a bonus! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent apartment in Avignon!

This is a great property. Well-managed, very comfortable, great features, and so conveniently located! Gilles, the owner, was helpful and easy to communicate and coordinate with and made sure to meet us on arrival and at departure. Property is very accurately described in listing. The location is excellent. We would stay there again on a future visit!

Best location and host!

What a place! Gilles was there to greet us and show us around. His apartment is just lovely and well stocked (which not too many are). And as far as location goes, it does not get any better - walking distance to everything! Thanks and hope to be there again.

Great apartment in the center of Avignon

We stayed in this home for 6 nights in the 2nd week of May. The apartment was great exactly as described, clean, centrally located. Gilles, the host, was friendly and helpful. We had no issues during check in, check out or during our stay. We definitely will come back.

Best opportunity for a stay in Avignon

Our stay was amazing. This is truly THE BEST location in Avignon. All museums, monuments, restaurants and shops are very close, just a walking distance. The apartment is clean, quiet with a lot of light. The incredible part is a private garage. This is a very rare occasion in the downtown. The owner is helpful, nice and very pleasant. I wish everyone who will stay there a great vacation!

Excellent quiet apartment in the very center of the city.

We chose this apartment and have never regretted it. Very quiet, air conditioners in each room. It was important for us to have a garage, as we were traveling by car. The first time it was a bit difficult to move in, but I quickly got used to it))) Communication with the owner was great.

Fantastic place to stay in Avignon

The apartments were roomy, bright and airy. We enjoyed staying in a standard apartment with an attached studio. Each had its own bathroom. Provisions were plentiful and having a clothes washing machine was great. The balcony was perfect for taking a break. Restaurants and shops were nearby as was the Pope's palace. Having a secure place to park our car was a great plus. The host, Roy, was fantastic -- friendly, funny, and helpful about how to visit the area.

Perfect Avignon apartment

Spectacular location next to main square, steps away from Palais des Papes, Theater and numerous restaurants. Spacious 1BR/1BA apartment with connecting door to studio with pullout couch and full bath. Plenty of immediate hot water. 5th floor of safe, secure, extremely quiet building with balcony. Best of all, Owner Gilles is extremely responsive and understanding and speaks English well. Cannot imagine a better choice in Avignon.

Great location

Nice apartment for family. One king bed. Sofa beds in 2 other rooms. 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed our time in Avignon; relaxing and walking around a very picturesque old city. The popes palace and fort across the river were underwhelming in terms of value to visit. Thus us after 10 days elsewhere in France seeing major museums, so standards are very high. We would return to this city and stay in Giles flat if we wanted to visit the area sights.

Great location

Excellent location at the heart of old Avignon. Good sized apt. Second bedroom is a studio with 2 sofa beds, albeit comfortable. Very nice lady received us and was very helpful. Very responsive and prompt owner. A coupe of minor issues: The towels were still a bit wet and one had an odor. There weren’t quite enough towels for 3 people The parking spaces in the garage are extremely small. We had a Jeep and decided to use the paid parking 5 minute’s walk away

Hello Mike Thanks for your feedback. Sorry about the towels. They were some more in the cupboard in the corridor next to the parents room. Yes, the parking spaces are small in Europe compare to the US, and cars are smaller as well. Hope to see you back here someday.

Séjour au top

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans l'appartement de Gilles. Il nous a envoyé tous les renseignements avant notre arrivée. Il nous attendait à notre arrivée pour nous montrer le parking et l'appartement qui est super bien placé, juste à côté du Palais des Papes. Appartement très calme, très bien aménagé. Concernant le parking, nous avons pu stationner notre Scénic 3, l'ascenseur est très appréciable. Nous recommandons.
