Beautiful Chalet Near Skiing & the Gatlinburg Strip- Hike, Play & Relax

Welcome to "Ski'n with the Bears". We have one of the few "easy-straight away" driveways. You don't have to worry about getting in & out of here. This home is a fully renovated chalet in Chalet Village. It has amazing seasonal views as well as views of the Ober tram going up & down the mountain. Our home is about 5 minutes from everything Gatlinburg has to offer: Ober Mountain, skiing, hiking, downtown Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, and more.

We are located in the beautiful, highly sought-after community of Chalet Village. Chalet Village offers three clubhouses with seasonal pools and additional amenities such as pickleball/ tennis courts (year round), game rooms, and so much more.
We provide complimentary Pickle Ball Set for you to use during your stay!

When you walk in you will be greeted with beautiful large open windows. Here you will find a very cozy great room. Relax in front of the gas fireplace or stream from your favorite apps on our large Vizio smart tv. Here you will find additional sleeping for 2 on our queen sleeper sofa equipped with a memory foam mattress (Updated 11/24).

We have everything you need to make a home cooked meal.. except for the food~

Love to BBQ? Enjoy grilling on our charcoal grill located next to our gazebo. (charcoal not provided).

Enjoy family meals around our round table in front of the large windows looking out to the beautiful mountain scenery. Our table will seat six comfortably with additional seating for four on the kitchen bar.

Game Area:
A vacation home is not a home without some FUN games! Ours is equipped with 2 Arcade games (Centipede & Pacman), Foosball table and a Ping Pong table. We also have CORNHOLE!!

Want a night in? Our round dining room table will make playing boards games or card games so much fun! (We have a few of our favorite board games provided for you!)

For your convenience there is a powder room located off the great room.

Everything about our stay in this Gatlinburg cabin was fantastic. We have stayed in a number of different cabins in the Ski Mountain area and this one easily is a favorite. We appreciated great communication from the host and easy-to-follow procedures. I liked that our family of four could have plenty of space to longer and relax. The updates to this cabin make for a nice experience. All the little details added up—from having plenty of towels and cookware to having a variety of entertainment options available. The dining area was also a favorite — spacious and could easily seat all of us. We’ve been in a number of cabins in this area where small dining tables are crammed in tight areas. All that to say - thankful for this stay and we’d happily book it again.
We loved the open feeling of the space and beautiful updates.

The house was beautifully decorated, had everything you needed and was very comfy & cozy. Not far from all of the activities in Pigeon Forge OR Gatlinburg but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Very peaceful.

Excellent rental experience!

We had a great stay at this property while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Being able to use a door code to check in and out was incredibly convenient, and the location had great access to both Gatlinburg and the park. My kids loved all the video games and the hot tub. We will definitely return to this rental if we visit the area again!

Great stay!

Stayed 4 nights near end of May 2022. Liked location - very easy access to GSM National Park for hiking and my husband and I drove down and parked at Galinburg Trail head (maybe a 4 min drive) early most mornings and ran along the river out to the Visitor Center. Cabin was well equipped, very good communication from the owner and she left a nice welcome bag to get our stay started. Would stay here again.
