Born and raised in Burgundy. This is my country home, and my wish is that you will feel as comfortable and carefree as I do here, in this house, in this village full of friendly, interesting people. I live in Paris and I love to relax here, too, so you'll find, hopefully, that this is more a home than an impersonal rental. More information on my website
Marie-B purchased this barn in 2017
Why Marie-B chose Passy
South Burgundy is an amazing region. Scenic. Varied. Lush and green. Historic. Wild and sophisticated at the same time. Peaceful yet lively with all the festivals, events, sights, and unobtrusive tourism. This is a converted winery (from when there were vineyards in Passy), located in the centre of the village, near the 12 th century church, so it has the advantage of modern homes, with its big windows and light flooding in from the meadow below. Am giving the house a lot of TLC, and hope you'll feel it! More information on my website
What makes this barn unique
Here, It feels great both inside, for these chilly days and outside if you want to forget about "walls' and enjoy the freedom of, for example, sleeping on the terrace under the starry skies, or just enjoy the pool, taking in the infinity of the meadow below, rock in the hammock in the café-style, shaded dining area. You can have all in one here. And still hop off to a medieval town for dinner or a nightime market!
