About this property
A Perfect Landmark Victorian in the Heart of Town
Stylishly and meticulously remodeled historic Victorian in the heart of scenic Silverton. Guests will enjoy a chef's kitchen, whole house entertainment system, TV room, living room with fireplace, radiant heat throughout, view decks with outdoor dining, good art, large soaking tubs, and ample natural light. The owners spared no expense when bringing this neglected home back to life. The Towerhouse is a well known landmark that gives visitors a sense of Silverton's past in comfort and style.
The Space
Once you make your way through the private entry into the kitchen and dining area, you will know that staying at the Towerhouse will be a cut above other historic homes. Good design and natural light meet seamlessly with tile, hardwood, and stone. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who love to cook. Warm radiant heat oak floors, a dishwasher, chilled filtered water, sound system, and art bring scrambling eggs to a new level.
Climbing the stairs to the main residential floor leads to a large open room facing a real fireplace and library with two adjacent bedrooms and a pocket view deck of the Animas Valley. Leaving this room takes the visitor to the media room with a surround sound system, dining view deck, and large communal bath including warm tile floors and a 7 foot fisherman's claw foot soaking tub. The smart TV allows you to stream movies from your favorite account or you can use our large DVD library to entertain young and mature alike.
Climbing the next set of stairs to the third story leads to the primary suite with private bath and views of the whole town. The stairwell can be closed for privacy and there is also a work station for those needing to check in at the office. All-in-one printers are located at desks on the second and third floor.
The owner's agent with handle most day to day operations and rents a commercial space on site. The owners are also available by phone whenever the Towerhouse is occupied.
All tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops are within easy walking distance to the Towerhouse. If you arrive by the historic train, you will walk two blocks to get to the house. The house offers views of all the major mountain peaks that surround and define the town.
There are numerous outdoor tour companies, rental shops, and outdoor activity centers within easy walking distance. All backcountry access roads are a short drive away.
