Welcome to 4890 Kerr Rd. Holiday House is located on the East side of East Twin Lake (an all-sports lake) in northern Michigan.
Stay in a charming cabin steps away from the lake. The cabin is decorated with warmth & charm. Sun bathe on the sandy beach, fish off the dock, or bring your boat. Sink a line and catch perch, bass, walleye, pike, or bluegill. Most stunning sunsets you will ever enjoy, sitting around your private bonfire pit or private cement patio.
One bedroom has a full bed and a 32" LED Smart TV with a ceiling fan. The living room has a sofa that converts to a queen-size La-Z-Boy bed with an air mattress, a loveseat into a single memory foam bed, a 50" LED Smart TV, and a VD player.
Kitchen: Refrig., stove, microwave, toaster over, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans - Propane gas grille. Bathroom: Stand-up shower.
Outside grounds: Bistro table and chairs, private patio, private fire ring, lounge chairs, and beach toys for the kids. Don't miss out on making this lakefront property your next vacation spot. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. Also, there is two-bedroom Cabin next door that may be available. VRBO 4435244, East Twin Lake sleeps 6 Adults. Booking are from Saturday to Saturday.

Marilyn and Jim are amazing hosts. They really want you to have a great stay and be comfortable. The cottage was a clean and had all the necessities. The supplies they give you were more than we anticipated. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs and being on the lake. We saw bald eagles, loons, and turkeys. We would go back .

Great Get Away

The Holiday House was the perfect place for a lake side get away for our family. The owners and their family were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was fun to be able to walk out of the cabin to the beach in front and the water was just a few more steps away Lewiston is a great small town with great places to eat and Gaylord wasn’t far away for extra things to do. We will definitely go back!

A Lovely Time

Absolute paradise!!!

This place was a slice of heaven. Jim And Marilyn are the best. The cabin is lovely, clean, and right on the beach. The only regret is that we didn’t stay 2 weeks instead of 1.

Adorable cottage and gorgeous lake views

This little cottage is just like out of a dream. Clean, well stocked, awesome location and great owners. We loved being only steps away from east Twin Lake , and only a few minute drive from Lewiston where we enjoyed getting ice cream and doing some local shopping. The owners had lots of beach toys for our kids which they loved.

East Twin Delight

The cottage was just as described. Perfect for the wife and I. The hosts were fantastic. Jim even helped launch and pickup the boat at the marina. There was a small snafu with the guest dock, which Jim and Marilyn quickly remedied in order for my wife and I to continue to enjoy our vacation.The nights were cool and the heat worked great. A couple of the days were hot and AC worked great. The area is quiet. East Twin is a large boat prop friendly lake. All sand. The cottage is a mile from town, which allows quick visits to town.

Perfect getaway to beautiful water in a charming cottage

My husband, 5-year-old and 2-month-old enjoyed our stay at the charming Holiday House on East Twin Lake. The cottage was well appointed and had everything you would need for a one week stay. The owners were so friendly and checked-in to make sure we had everything we needed. The water was crystal clear. So rare to find an inland lake front place with a sandy beach for kids to play. We will definitely put this place on our list to return to!

Classic lake cottage

We enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing week at Holiday House. The hosts Marilyn and Jim could not have been nicer, they welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The cottage was immaculate with everything you could want. The towels were fluffy and the sheets were crisp. Our cottage was steps from the lake and we enjoyed magnificent sunsets. It is apparent that Marilyn and Jim really care about their guests comfort and enjoyment. We would definitely stay at Holiday House again.

Our Stay at the Holiday House

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cottage is very quiet and relaxing – just steps away from the beach. The hosts take a great deal of pride in the property and it certainly shows! It was immaculate inside and out. It was very comfortably outfitted and had plenty kitchen items, as well as a gas grill, that made it easy to prep & enjoy meals. The added bonus, and the nicest surprise, of our stay was the hosts – we truly felt at home! Highly recommend staying here!!!

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as lovely as our first! House is nice and clean. Hosts are available and accommodating. Location is amazing! This house is on the beach and rolling up the windows in the morning feels like you are actually in the water. Nice little beach for swimming. Beautiful sunsets, we will be back next time we come. Cottage was exactly like the pictures! Hosts take a lot of pride in the property. Outside is beautifully landscaped. They are very friendly and the two days of rain we had, they offered suggestions to keep us occupied! Hosts are extremely accomodating. Highly recommend!!!

Hidden Gem

My husband and I rented this cabin for a week. I sure wish I would of rented longer. Its quaint and sits right at the sandy beach. We loved to sit on the rockers on our porch at night and sip drinks looking at the beautiful sunset. Coffee in the morning with a nice breeze off the water. There is a private dock to bring a boat. Huge bonfire area. Great for all ages. We brought our side by side and they had plenty of trails to ride in the area. The cabin has everything a person would need and it very cute and clean. I have to say Jim and Marilyn are the absolute best host we have ever met.They made our trip memorable for sure. We were welcomed in and they treated us like family/friends. We are truely grateful to have met them. A definite perk. We will be back again for sure.

The best lakefront rental cottage experience EVER!!

The hubs and I have been renting two different lakefront properties in Michigan a year for the last 7 years. The "Holiday House" was, by far, the cutest and most up to date. It is clear from the moment of your arrival that the owners take your happiness and comfort seriously. Jim and Ian helped the hubs launch the boat and allow you to park the boat at their dock. The windows allow a full view of beautiful East Twin Lake, just steps from the large, sandy beach. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need including dish towels and dish cloths. Living room furniture is comfortable and relatively new. The sofa pulls out to an air mattress, queen bed, as does the love seat (a single bed). ALL linens are provided (sheets, pillows, comforter) as are large, plush bath, hand towels and wash cloths. This is a one bedroom cottage with a full size bed. The bedroom is not huge but we slept comfortably and well every night. The bathroom is smaller but has a wonderful shower with nice, hot water...and, don't forget the nice, plush towels provided! The weather cooperated for our boating, which made our stay at "The Holiday House" one of the most enjoyable, vacations EVER! Everything stated in the VRBO ad and the pics show you exactly what you can expect.. Again, the owners take pride in this home and your comfort and happiness is their top priority. Hopefully, once we get organized in our next year's rental vacations, we will be able to book again. The hubs said, at least once a day, "I love this place." I guess that says it all. The cabin was absolutely stunning. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I was here for 20 days for work and I couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin to watch the sunset over the lake just footsteps away.
