After a pretty awful experience at a dude ranch in Teton, this was the perfect retreat. Pristine, wonderful location (Gardiner is a great town), and so many unexpected amenities, such as fluffy robes, extra towels and cleaning supplies, wine and chocolate, coffee, pantry staples, and binoculars. We loved watching the mother skunk and 4 babies living in the back shed, as well as tons of elk, from the back deck.
Our return to the loft reminded us why this was one of our favorite stays in Gardiner previously. The friendly owners are local and responsive, and the view is beautiful.
We stayed at the loft. It had everything that we needed, and it was a great location for visiting Teddy Roosevelt national Park, and other parks in the area. Lots of nice restaurants close by.
The close proximity to Yellowstone National Park was great. We spent 12+ hours each day in the park, the short drive from the north entrance to the house amazing. We enjoyed the deck and quiet evenings.
“A Yellowstone Gem in Gardiner”“A Yellowstone Gem in Gardiner”
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property in Gardiner, Montana. The home was spotless, incredibly well-stocked, and very comfortable—everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The peaceful setting and breathtaking mountain views made it the perfect retreat after our days exploring Yellowstone. There are so many thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the wrap-around deck with stunning views, the barbeque grill for evening cookouts, and the table tennis table that provided lots of family fun. The hosts even provided binoculars and picnic blankets, which we used often during our outings and wildlife watching. One of the most special parts of our stay was the daily visits from calving elk right to our back yard. Watching them quietly pass through the property and hide their babies in the nearby grasses was a magical, unforgettable experience. The location is ideal—just outside the north entrance of Yellowstone and directly across the street from a small supermarket where you can find everything you need if you're planning to cook. It made meals easy and convenient. We truly felt at home here and are so grateful to the owners for sharing this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend, and we hope to return one day.
Our family of 4 found the accommodations spacious and appreciated being close to the grocery store. Easy walk into town, and quick drive into Yellowstone. I thought property was even nicer in person than I expected from the photos.
This is a great little place with everything we needed to come back "home" to after we ventured into Yellowstone each day The hosts were also very friendly and helpful! We've stayed in a handful of places in Gardiner and this is one we'll happily return to.
This place was perfect for our family of 4! It was clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Beds and bedding were comfortable too. Thankfully, laundry detergent was also provided. We grilled out on the deck in the evenings and saw elk and pronghorn in the distance. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time at the loft. It was perfect for our family - 2 adults and 2 kids. The kids loved the ping pong and the adults loved the beautiful views from the deck and drinking coffee watching the mule deer in the morning. The space was well appointed and had everything we needed. Gardiner is a cute town and nice and close to the North entrance. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathroom had lots of storage. Easy to move our stuff in and a parking spot. Large deck with a BBQ grill to watch the stars. Unit was clean and nice to have washer/dryer. Plenty of extra linens for our group. Good location in town just a couple blocks off the main street.
Will definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Archview Loft in Gardner. We had three adults, and it was perfect for our needs as we vacationed in Yellowstone. Great views of the valley providing a good vantage point for observing wildlife with my spotting scope. This unit was a great place to unwind after our daily adventures in the park. We liked having the washer and dryer, and the location to the grocery store was very convenient. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip out west!
The Loft was a great property that has everything we needed for a great vacation place to stay. The location was great and everything worked fine. Also, very close to Yellowstone National Park. Highly recommend this vacation loft to anyone needing a place to stay while in this area.
Nice property, well kept. Short walking distance to town, but on a steep gravel road. Didn’t bother our family but may be a consideration for others. Great view from the deck and living room of the park.
We stayed at 14 Archview and were so impressed with the property. It’s proximity to Yellowstone’s north entrance and access to all there is to do in Gardiner was perfect. The views from the balcony are as advertised. This was one of the best vacation experiences we have ever had. Thanks again!!
We could see the Roosevelt Arch entrance to Yellowstone from our bedroom window. We loved sitting on the deck looking out over the scenery after a long day. We even played ping pong in the cute gathering space. One day while returning up the driveway, we saw an elk lying in a neighbors yard. You can’t get any closer to Yellowstone!
The property is beautiful and fairly convenient to Jackson, WY and Grand Tetons NP. The food was easy to get and was a good breakfast. Loved how quiet and clean everything was. The only thing I would say is that due to check in being completely self serve, I have no idea who the property manager was. Texting them was a fairly easy option, but I’m not sure who actually ran the B&B :)
This was our 4th trip to Yellowstone & our very favorite place to stay yet. It is spacious, but not overly big. It was absolutely perfect for me, my husband, our 1.5 year old son & my dad! The view from the kitchen a balcony is INCREDIBLE. It had everything we needed for both adults and my son! We will probably break our rule of staying in different places every time we visit to stay here again, because we loved it that much! The owners are so easy to communicate with. We had zero issues! Highly recommend. (Also if you’re new to the area, it is right by the North Entrance & walking distance to everything else you need in town).
You cannot beat the beautiful mountain views from this property. We saw elk in our yard each morning along with several rabbits. The property itself is very clean and comfortable with every needed amenity available. It was a bit hard to find, which would be my only complaint. The property is not up on a hill, but is actually down in bottom of a hill (at least the entrance). Property is called “The Loft.” If you see water tower, you’ve gone too far. Hope this helps someone. Overall was very pleased with our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Brena McNulty
Mike and Brena' McNulty We came to Gardiner in 1983, originally for just a few month to help build the Best Western Motel, and soon fell in love with it and decided it would be a great place to raise our two daughters Naisha and Kayla, they both now live in Washington. Mike delivers the mail in YNP in the summer months and retires in the winter. Brena works for Alaska Airlines as a flight attendant.
Why they chose this property
We originally bought the house that is located below this house, and in 2006 sold it but kept the upper lot where our house now sits. We started building the house the summer of 2006 for a family home and decided we didn't need this much house since both our girls are married.
What makes this property unique
Incredible views of Montana’s mountain ranges and Yellowstone Park. Only one mile from the North Entrance of Yellowstone. Wildlife, such as deer and elk, are frequent visitors to the property. Owner lives on site available to answer questions or help with your travel plans.
