Great apartment.

The apartment in old town Bilbao was really great; the location and the space itself. The host, Jose, was great too. I arrived early yet he allowed me to leave my suitcase there while I explored the neighborhood and the apartment cleaning was finishing up. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Homely, great location, very friendly host who met us at arrival on departure. Well stocked kitchen.Cons: Main bed is only a double so a bit tight. Parking spot is tight for bigger cars.

Clean and convenient!

Apartment was very clean, lots of things to do within walking distance. Jose was super accommodating and helpful. Parking is 10€ per day if you have a vehicle but public transportation (subway station) is very close. I would love to come back to Bilbao and would rent this apartment again.

The apartment is in a perfect location in the old part of the city, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores a few steps away. Also very close are the metro, tram and bus lines. It is a very spacious flat, with two bedrooms and three beds, a family room with TV, a kitchen and dining table, and a bathroom with plenty of hot water. This was also a very well-supplied apartment, with most everything you might need in the kitchen and bath. It was so nice to have coffee, tea, and milk already there to start our mornings. There were even some items like oil and condiments to use in cooking. Jose was just the best host, waiting to greet us at the front of the building with the keys when we arrived and coming to our rescue when I accidentally left my backpack in the apartment and needed Jose to come and open the doors so I could retrieve it. Do not hesitate to book this place if it is available.

2/10 Terrible

Terrible smell.

Centrally located in old town. Apartment was clean and functional. Jose was very helpful and bought new pillows and changed the bed sheets again after our first night but the smell was still strong. We decided to cut short our stay and he refunded us the money for the last couple of nights.

1st lose forgiveness for the inconvenienceTake advantage to explain my apartmentis located in the old city, in the so-called 7 streetsbut it is one of the 3 initialsits name Artekale, means the middle street, my house belongs to the strong tower, old fortification called Ibinarriaga, siglo XV but it was rebuilt when it burnedmy situation in the old city makes that preventively every year we spray against pests with preventive character, we have never had but we prefer to preventWhen we do it, it is done by a specialized company, we do not take people for 48 hours and we leave ventilating to eliminate the possible residual odor,we have done this for years and never the following reserves have had any problem, but I understand that there are different sensitivities regarding the possible residual odor

We had such a lovely stay here and would happily come back. The location is absolutely spot on — right near the market and surrounded by a lively bar area, so there’s always a great atmosphere without it feeling overwhelming. Everything we wanted to explore was within easy reach. The apartment itself is more traditional than modern, but that’s exactly what gives it its charm. It felt homely, full of character, and a refreshing change from the usual cookie-cutter places. You can tell it has a story behind it.A real highlight was meeting the owner’s father, who showed us around when we arrived. He was so welcoming and took the time to explain everything properly. He even mentioned that the place can get a bit cold and thoughtfully pointed out where all the heating devices were in each area, which we really appreciated. It made us feel well looked after from the start.Overall, a warm, characterful place in a fantastic location with genuinely kind hosts. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.

Convenient apt with most gracious host

The apartment is as described. Very clean. Well appointed oasis in the city. Quite an assortment of food items (teas, coffees, mustards) available too. The best part of this rental is the host, Jose. Such a kind, accommodating person. We needed to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and he met us .... at 6 am! ... to help us. We gave the location only 4 stars because the apt is a bit of a distance (0.3-0.4 miles on cobblestones) from the parking garage. Fine for us but thinking that for some people, that could be a challenge.

Fabelhaftes Appartement

Tolle Ausstattung!

Perfekte Lage
