The cabin was clean, nice, and cozy. It was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. The road out to it was "fun," but the cabin and its amenities, top notch!
Husband and I stayed here 2 nights during our honeymoon. Place was clean, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed the little river behind the cabins and the music in Mt Ida on Saturday night.
Has a great river access. Very secluded and quiet nice little cabins we stayed in number 2 if you have mobility issues this would be the best one only two steps going in the front. They have cleaning tables for crystals and also you can acces the river to kayak great for both summer and winter.
This cabin was perfect. My family loved the rock cleaning station and the easy access to the river. It was a short hike to a small beach on the river. We didnt get much phone service but there was dish tv available and a little wifi. Definitely perfect to unplug for a few days and enjoy nature. Would definitely come again the cabin had everything we needed, we just needed to make a small run to the grocery store in Mt Ida.
This is some of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever got to stay on! With the river just right down the hill, trails through whimsical woods. It was the breath of fresh air we all needed! The cabin is super clean! And the beds are comfortable! Crystal washing stations on site, and a cool bath house/ laundry room area. The pictures don’t do it justice! If you stay here you will love it!
This small cabin was exactly as described. We enjoyed the location 6 miles off the nearest highway tucked in the national forest. The accommodations were clean and had everything needed for our stay. We enjoyed walking to the river with the kids and dogs and spotted many deer nearby during our stay. The host was very nice and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. I would definitely stay again and will recommend this property to friends and family.
Alan, the owner was really cool to chat with. He has an amazing place out there. Beautiful part of the Ouachita River right out back. Cooked in the bonfire pit every night. Never seen the stars so bright. Beds are very comfortable the cabin was well kept and homie.
Was a great for what we came to Arkansas to do. Crystal mine for the weekend. Great little family time cabin. Very rural, bring food and drinks with you (meals). Bring your own extra blankets. Be prepared for a 6.5 mile dirt road to cabin.
The location was great. River was not as close as it looks in the picture, but was within a short walking distance from the cabin. It was only about 100 yards to the river. The cabin was really clean and neat when we got there. Had everything thing except you need to make a great home away from home. Will be back to stay at this property again. Price was great for all that you get there.
The property is located well into the forest where you barely get cell reception, which is exactly what I wanted. A quick walk up the road and I was able to hunt for deer and going down the hill from the property. I caught dozens of bass and Panhead fish. The cabin was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was an amazing experience.
Quiet, clean and peacful. It is exactly what we needed. A herd of deer ended up in the yard! The stars were beautiful and on display for us. We could hear the river running at night. We would stay there again!

I gave it a good rating for peace & quiet we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife lots of deer & enjoyed the fishing. The one thing I didn't like was the drive to the cabin 6 miles down a dirt & gravel road we live in the country but this is definitely in the country. Web site pictures need to be updated because you can't see the water when you drive up because there's alot of brush & trees grownup, the pictures with the water is one of the reasons I picked it so we could fish, that being said we would most likely rent it again because of peace & quiet well worth it you could set outside & not hear traffic or people.
We enjoyed the cabin and private river experience. It is pretty secluded, so I recommend bringing groceries to settle in for a few days - the cabin has everything else. The laundry was also nice and clean. It was all very peaceful.
Right on river. Very quiet area. Plenty things to do in the area. Cabin had everything you need. Good place to disconnect and enjoy nature peace and laughs. We enjoyed the stay .
