A fabulous, isolated location on the sandy shore of Lake Ontario, at the very end of Selkirk Shores (Pine Grove) Point, directly across the Salmon River from the Selkirk Lighthouse & Marina, perfect for a family & friends vacation or fishing adventure. Kids love the sandy waterfront beach and the house is comfortable and equipped with all you need to have a great stay. Five bedrooms with 8 beds will accommodate up to 10 adults and/or up to 13 total including younger children.

Great Family Vaca

Went for a long weekend, house was clean and really nice. Property management team was great. Best part by far is located right on the beach, literally on the sand! Kids loved the beach, probably want to bring water shoes as parts are rocky.

Where time slows down

House was larger than we thought by pictures provided with the perfect lake house vibe and views. Great place to relax and enjoy time to slow down, we all felt the calmness to our fast paced lifestyles where time is a thief. All questions were answered quickly in a very timely manner. We had no issues throughout our stay. Four wheel drive is needed to access the house as mentioned, we had no problems getting in. Can not go wrong with this house if seclusion and quiet is what you’re looking for. Salmon River is easy to access from the house. We all look forward to coming back next year!

Great location

We rented this house for a fishing getaway with friends. It was a very nice house a classic rustic feel the way summer houses all were back in the day. Super clean and had everything you could need including a great location on the sand dunes! Thank you 😊

Rustic retreat on lake

The property was clean but rustic. There was plenty of beds for everyone that stayed. We had a family of 9 that came up for the salmon run. The only thing that was difficult was the ride back to the property because the road to the house is all beach sand. If you do not have 4 wheel drive it will be tricky parking next to the house. Parking can only accommodate two vehicles that was a little inconvenient since they had 4 trucks. We had to drive one truck to the house to drop the gear and then ride back to get the other people. Other than the parking and road the house was great. In a great location. Wifi was great everyone was able to use their streaming devices.

Beach Retreat

We rented the house for our annual salmon fishing trip. The house was great. Plenty of space with five bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. The outside of the house was amazing. All sand private beach in front and the river on the side was great. We enjoyed spending time at the picnic table on the beach watching salmon jump in the lake. 4 wheel drive is required to make it to the house but was not difficult to drive on the sand road. There is parking if you could not make it but wasn't needed. Weber gas grill, Keurig and coffee pot, nice size tv with good cable and internet you can't go wrong with this house. Will definitely be returning.

Summer Retreat At Pine Grove

Beautiful location that walks directly out onto sand beach. House included all the necessary amenities for food prep cooking & cleaning. Lots of chairs, indoors & out. Accessibility a bit limited by sand beach driving/river crossing but the relative isolation of the entire north end of the beach justifies it. Sunrise & sunset always colorful. Excellent if you have a boat or watercraft.

Salmon Fishing Trip with Family and Friends

Every year for the past 15 years, we have been fishing the Salmon River for the annual Salmon run in late September-early October. This year, our group added a few making it 8 men ranging from 22-60 years old requiring more space. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mike, the owner, who was very friendly and accommodating. Despite some heavy winds off the lake upon arrival, we were able to get settled in quickly and comfortably. The home is as described with very functional baths and beds. There was a sunroom/porch overlooking the lake which was absolutely gorgeous for sunsets. As the wind that occurred during our trip didn’t allow us to use some of the amenities this home offered, there is a beautiful fire pit area on the beach which we are looking forward to using next year. We were able to all sit in the living room with the beautiful fireplace 2 nights talking about our fishing adventures each night. The general consensus from everyone in our party is that we will be returning next year. I should note we left a few items behind while packing up and Mike was more than kind to send these items back to us via mail. And I should note that as this home is the last home on the point across from the lighthouse and marina, you will definitely need 4WD to make it all the way to the house by vehicle, otherwise you must park a short walk away. Overall great experience

Large house with plenty of bedrooms and the beach is great! The AC is a bonus. There are some rocks on the beach so it could be good to have water shoes for kids.

Salmon river Lake House

Had a fantastic stay at this house on the beach with friends, the owners were very generous and helping. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a nice trip to an isolated beach.
