The property was well maintained for its age and very clean. The complimentary breakfast was quite good and the couple cooking and housekeeping were very attentive and friendly. The only stumble for me was not using the vrbo app, so I missed the specific step to pick up the key at the outdoor adventure store. Great value for the rate!

100% delighted.Hyde House is perfectly sweet and our room was cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the cook friendly. Check-in was a breeze. We visited the area to explore trails at HHSP and the drive to and from Hyde House was scenic one.

Decent stay for the money, however the hot tub was not working and appeared to not be working for a very long time. This was a huge disappointment for us. The room was nice. The bath tub was fabulous!! We had trouble with the lock getting into our room when we arrived. Then again when we wanted to leave for dinner. It was impossible to get our room locked. Instead of taking everything back to the car, or leaving our room unlocked, we decided to just stay in. Later the host did respond saying they would come help, but at that point we had opted to just stay in. Other reviews before had mentioned the same issue. Not sure why this hasn’t been resolved, and why the hot tub is still being used to draw people in. Breakfast was great. Coffee available all the time was a nice perk. And again, that tub!!!

Perfect place to stay for a short getaway. Close to downtown Nelsonville--walkable to the main square. It was clean and charming. Staff who came in to make breakfast were hospitable and made a good breakfast.

Lovely Stay and Great Location

Enjoyed our stay at this Historic B&B we had the whole place to ourselves the first night. The location was perfect for us to go and explore the Hocking Hills area and was within walking distance to many of the main square amenities. The clawfoot tub was perfect after our 12 Mile hike and the bed was comfy.

Nice stay

Nice room, great breakfast, good location, wish the hot tub was full and working, and wish the upstairs was as cool as the downstairs. I would stay again.

Beautiful old home with clean rooms. No one is there to let you in and sometimes there is difficulty unlocking doors. I got stuck outside late at night and another guest couldn’t get into their guest room.

Beautiful B&B

The Dogwood suite was exactly as pictured and absolutely beautiful. The shower didn’t work as expected, but the claw foot tub works perfectly. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.
