«Πέτρινη Παραδοσιακή Κατοικία-TheOliveyardhouse» με πισίνα χωρίς χλωρίνη

The Olive yard combines the traditional characteristics of a Greek house but also the luxury facilities of the cosmopolitical way of life. The 1800 square meters estate that circles the house is constituted from trees like the ancient and symbolic olive trees and a variety of fruits trees, herbs and grapes that produced fresh and without chemicals wrists. There is also a chicken coop in the land where you can collect fresh eggs for your mornings. The “Olive yard” is located not too far from the highway but is isolated from the noise in a perfectly quite spot. In Rhodes Island a car rental is needed if someone wants to unlock all the mystery of the town of knights. Olive yard is near to all the famous spots like the caves beach “Trayanou-Afandou”, Tsampika beach and Faliraki area and Kalithea all these places are 15 driving. The house is fully occupied with all the modern facilities; it is consisted from two bedrooms and two bathrooms but also the living rooms’ relaxing sofa-beds that can host our guests. We will be happy to accommodate you at our house where you can spend relaxing time at the pool while hearing the relaxing sounds of leaf.

Beautiful property with wonderful host

We had such a wonderful stay that our kids did not want to leave. The property is well maintained and host Nikos is just amazing! He waited for us on our late check in. Prepared well cook roasted chicken with bunch of fruits, water, juice, sodas, wine and cheese plate to welcome us on our first day! Throughout our stay, he was very responsive to our communication and even accommodated our late check out. We will stay at Nikos again and highly recommend to anyone! Thank you Nikos!

Traditional rustic retreat

We had a very warm welcome to the villa which included a vast selection of fruits, meats, cheeses and breads. There was also chilled beers and wine in the fridge. The villa is set on a large oliveyard, completely private and seperate from any neighbours. What makes the villa so special is the charm and character of the place. There is so many small details that you will continue to discover throughout your stay. The nearest beech is around 10 mins by car and for the best restaurants, old town is about 20 mins away. We all loved our stay and would recommend a stay here.

Paradise

This holidayhome is like a paradise. You do need a car to enjoy the rest of the island because it’s not very near to shops or the beach but it’s a great private location. Everything you need or could want is in the house. Pool and outdoor shower are amazing and sitting in the conservatory is beautiful. Watching the lizards and butterflies or listening to the birds. We had an amazing time and will be back. This was our 17th year on the island but this made it a whole new experience! Thank you Nikos and thanks to your mother’s great marmalade and grapes! See you x

Holiday in paradise

We had a fantastic stay for two weeks in Nikos little paradise. Probably one of the best kept secrets at Rhodos. Actually it is even better than the pictures on the site. Beautiful place (car is required though); the house (spacious and all facilities on board, airco and fans in every room and nice Greek style style), the garden ( with lots of shade, kitchen/BBQ, hammocks, and privacy), beautiful newly renovated pool, fresh fruits, eggs and herbs from the olive yard. And last but definitely not least the generous hospitality of Nikos. We arrived late at night and there was food and drinks, he popped by every day to take care of the garden and check if all is still okay. Together with his little pawed buddy Tinga. Always available (whatsapp) to help with tips for places to visit or for food/drinks. Feels like a friend! Thank you so much Nikos.

Peacefull & Romantic dream house

from the warm and supper friendly welcome by the wonderful Nikos, to the fully equipped facility that answers every need you could wish for in a family summer vacation, surrounded by the beauty of green and many beautiful details of the owner's design personal touch, wrapped in a quite large olive trees field and a cover of pastoral vine yard in front - this place looks and feels even better in real than in the web site pictures! 10-15 min drive to/from the airport, Rhodes city, best beaches, waterpark etc., and yet - a very comfortable and peaceful estate for a dream vacation. we loved the hanging bed under the vine cover (perfect for siesta), the relaxing sound of the water fountain, the shades of the vineyard, the fresh eggs every morning from the hen-house... rooms&beds are wide and comfortable, pool is perfect for family folly with shaded and comfortable pool-side sun beds, kitchen has absolutely everything you can possibly wish for, and all around is perfectly clean and very well maintained, almost as good as new. we had the best of times, the perfect 7 days stay with 2 kids, and we all whole heartedly - loved it!

Wir haben den Außenbereich geliebt. Nikos ist der allertollste Vermieter gewesen, mit Geschenken und so viel Liebe und Entgegenkommen für den Gast. Tolle frische Zitronen, Eier und Kräuter jeden Tag, überall Sonnenliegen und -betten, damit man jederzeit den besten Platz einnehmen kann, Poolreinigung jeden zweiten Tag und das Beste: Man ist ganz für sich. Griechische Gastfreundschaft

Angefangen hat alles mit einem bereits gefüllten Kühlschrank und Vorratsschrank durch den Gastgeber. Der Gastgeber war jederzeit höflich, auskunftsfreudig und hilfsbereit. Das Haus hat einen schönen Pool und traumhaften Garten mit Olivenhain. Es gibt sehr gut funktionierendes W-Lan und ein TV Gerät (wenn es denn jemand benötigt). Ein Mietwagen ist dringend zu empfehlen, in der näheren Umgebung gibt es Supermärkte, exzellente Tavernen, ein Krankenhaus, eine Kartbahn, eine Ortskirche, kulturelle Sehenswürdigkeiten (und mehr). Im Ferienhaus werden rudimentäre Dinge wie Handtücher, Föhn, Waschmittel, Spülmaschinentabs usw ausreichend vorgehalten. Ferner gibt es eine Trinkwasseraufbereitungsanlage, daher ist das Wasser aus der Leitung direkt trinkbar. Wir würden von unserer Seite aus wiederkommen :) Landubd

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus im Olivenhain

Wir durften im Oktober mit unserer Familie den Urlaub in Nikos wunderbaren Olive Yard House verbringen. Dank Nikos freundlichen Empfang haben wir uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Er ist wirklich der perfekte Gastgeber, der sich viel Zeit für seine Gäste nimmt und jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung steht. Das schon mehrfach erwähnte „Willkommenspaket“ war unglaublich. Ein mit allen erdenklichen Getränken, Joghurt, Milch und Brotzeitplatte gefüllter Kühlschrank, ein riesiger Obstkorb und Kaffee. Auch sonst ist wirklich alles vorhanden.Vom Duschgel über Waschmittel bis zu Geschirrspültabs,… Unsere Tochter hat es sich nicht nehmen lassen uns jeden Morgen mit frischen Eiern aus dem Hühnerstall zu holen. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Überall stehen Gefäße für kleine Kerzen und Lichterketten sind im ganzen Garten verteilt. Der Garten mit seinen vielen Rückzugsorten ist ein kleines Paradies. Wir haben uns dort sehr gerne aufgehalten. Die wunderschönen Buchten mit kristallklarem Wasser zum schnorcheln und schwimmen sind mit dem Auto in 15 Minuten erreichbar. Auch Rhodos Stadt ist nicht weit entfernt. Wir haben tolle Ausflüge über die ganze Insel gemacht. Ein Auto sollte man sich also unbedingt leihen. Wir hatten den perfekten Urlaub und würden jederzeit wieder bei Nikos buchen.

Schön eingerichtet es Haus

Wir haben alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Vor allem die weinbelaubte Terrasse, der Garten und Olivenhain sind sehr schön. Die Betreuung durch Nikos ist herzlich, einfach toll!

Der perfekte Ort zum entspannen

Alles was wir in den bisherigen Kommentaren gelesen haben, hat gestimmt. Nikos ist der perfekte Gastgeber, immer erreichbar, hilfsbereit, freundlich, herzlich, hat uns viele Tipps vor Ort gegeben und hat sich Zeit für uns genommen. Als wir ankamen war der Kühlschrank gefühlt mit Getränken und eine riesen Brotzeitplatte. Wir haben 10 Tage vom geschenckten Obstkorb gegessen! Der Hammer! Das Haus ist ein Kunsthaus mit " Bohème" Feeling. Es wurde von Nikos selbst dekoriert und man verliebt sich sofort in die Anlage wo überall am Boden Amphoren rum liegen. Es verfügt über eine Klimaanlage ( die war bei uns bei 42° immer an) und alle Geräte, die man braucht. Es fehlt an nichts. Umgeben vom Weinreben, Zitronen, Granatapfel, Oliven, Thymian, Rosmarin, Pfefferminz, Basilikum, man braucht nur in den Garten gehen, um die Kräuter zu sammeln. Frische Eier gibt es auch jeden morgen, der Hühnerstahl ist hinter dem Grundstück. Es ist eine richtige grüne Oase auf Rhodos. Jeder findet in der Anlage seinen Lieblingsplatz zum chillen, Hängematte, Himmelbett, Sonnenliege, Hängeschaukel. Man braucht ein Mietauto, um die Insel zu erkundigen. Wir sind viel geschnorchelt. Unser Urlaub auf Rhodos war der perfekte Urlaub nach der langen Covid Zeit. Es gibt nichts, was wir bemängeln können. Wir würden sofort wieder bei Nikos mieten. Vielen Dank für alles! Celine und Alex

Little piece of paradise

Beautiful, rustic, old house with lots of space. The photos really don’t do it justice. It was amazing to just sit by the pool all day and then outside at night using the outside kitchen. The beds are comfy with plenty of linen and towels and the owner has though of absolutely everything, we didn’t need half the stuff we packed like shampoo etc. The kitchen also has everything you could think of and the welcome selection of food and drink was so thoughtful and gratefully received. Location wise, the plot is very secure with electric gates and far enough away from noise whilst only being a short drive to amenities and attractions. I highly recommend this property and Nikos is an amazing host.

What an amazing villa.

Olive Yard House has been amazing. It was everything we wanted and more. The villa is fascinating, exceptionally clean and has everything you could possibly need. The grounds have all sorts of plants, limes, pomegranates, grape vines, oranges and even a banana plant. Fresh eggs every morning provided by the hens at the far end of the garden. The lovely, clean pool kept our son and us cool in the 36c heat and sunshine. The villa is close to the ancient town of Rhodes with its unique shops and restaurants for all tastes. If you want a lively night, Falaraki is 10 minutes away. Nikos, the owner, makes sure he is on hand if you need anything. Wine in the fridge on arrival. Everything you need to relax. We had a great holiday, definitely coming here again.

Un seul mot : Parfait!

Endroit magnifique avec une touche « bohème». A 10 mn de l aéroport. Le propriétaire, Nikos est d une gentillesse incroyable. A notre arrivée, nous avions des produits locaux offerts, de l eau fraîche, du lait pour le petit déjeuner du lendemain matin.... La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle avec une bonne literie. Le jardin est sublime et bien pensé. La piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau. En résumé : je dirais que ce lieu de villégiature est un petit «bijou». Etant relativement très pointilleuse en règle générale, je recommande à 100% cette location.

Beautifully thought out accommodation

Such a beautiful property with everything you could possibly think of. Nikos is very attentive to your every need and is very quick to respond to any queries. Easy to spend lazy days at the property with beautiful little nooks here and there be it a hammock, suspended swinging bed, or by the pool. A car is essential but it’s not far to all the beauty spots in Rhodes and all are easy to find. Approx 15 mins from the airport. We arrived late and Nikos met us and had left lots of goodies for us which was very thoughtful. He has chickens which we went to get fresh eggs from daily for breakfast and an amazing garden full of veg. We will be sad to leave! It has been a wonderful week, albeit too short! It has been a welcome escape. We hope one day to be back!

Perfect place for a bigger family

Everything was so beautiful and lots of beautiful details. It was all clean and tidy and the house is very well equipped. The garden is a delight with the pool, sitting areas and fruits. You have your own peace, but it’s still near all the lovely places when you have car rented. We loved it all!

Wonderfull Villa with magical yard

Second time for us in Nikos's place. A wonderfull familly holiday in a great villa with a perfect yard and pool. Very clean and comfortable, the yard and pool areas are beautifull and its fun to spend time there. Very quite place but so close to everything. Nikos takes great care of the property and is a wonderfull wellcoming host.. We will return.

Olive Yard House is exactly as described and more with a wonderful host; Nikos

Nikos has developed a small but beautifully formed piece of heaven in Rhodes. My wife and I have had the most wonderful 2-week stay in Olive Yard House and have taken full advantage of Nikos and his mother’s welcome to enjoy the house, pool, garden and all it offers. Daily, we have collected fresh eggs and from the garden picked and eaten lettuce, spring onions, tomatoes, herbs and a cornucopia of fruit: apricots, mulberries, lemons, limes, strawberries and figs. Lucky holidaymakers later in the year will be able to enjoy bananas, peaches and grapes as well. Nikos is THE most welcoming of hosts. He prepared a meze for our arrival even though our flight was delayed he was there to meet us when we arrived at 10.30 p.m. He had stocked the fridge with everything we needed for the first day or two, he had also supplied fruit, bread and rolls. He is more of a friend to us now than an owner. I didn’t expect the pool to be warm enough to swim in however, it was glorious, and the outside areas made the holiday so much more enjoyable as there was a BBQ, hot & cold outside showers, hammock, several comfortable sun beds and loungers, hanging chairs, and under cover a hi-fi, table and seats to relax out of the sun and in the evening lights illuminated the garden, outside spaces and pool. The covered car port keeps the car cool (and you will need a car). The photos in the advert are exactly what you get, inside and outside the house. An especially lovely addition was the hanging bed with mozzy net, you can’t help but fall asleep gently swaying under all the hanging grapes. The main bed is really comfortable and the aircon works perfectly as do all the other amenities. There is a TV which we hardly used and a good wi-fi connection. The property is completely set within an olive grove and not overlooked by anyone and with electric gates, so you have your own private paradise! We highly recommend Olive House Yard to anyone. Thank you Nikos for being such a wonderful host, gentleman and friend.

Wonderful stay in most beautiful location

We stayed in the Oliver Yard House with 2 couples for a most wonderful week in early May. The property is looked after by Nikos and his mum with love to every detail and they gave us a most warm welcome on our arrival. The house and garden are even more beautiful in reality - the equipment is great and all is clean and tidy. Nikos is a wonderful host and attending to any questions quickly and most professionally. We can only very warmly thank Nikos and recommend the property most highly as we enjoyed our stay very much!
